NOT GOOD
Many years ago I bought the same make nail clippers from Zooplus and they were excellent. Purchased another set recently as spare. The latest ones are blunt, & split dogs claw. The cutting blade is totally blunt. Old set much sharper. Looking at the reviews I think some blades are honed and some not.

Not fit for purpose
I found these clippers quite blunt and not easy to use.

Terrible!
This is my first online review ever, but this claw clipper is so incredibly bad that I want to warn everyone against buying it! My Dalmatian's claws splinter when I use it, and cutting through aluminium foil to sharpen the clipper (tested multiple times...) doesn't help at all. Even though the clipper is described as "de luxe large," it is completely useless for large dogs (and their claws)!!
I'm donating it to the local animal shelter—maybe it can still be of use for the smaller dogs there...

Unusable claw scissors
Unfortunately, this claw trimmer is useless. The claws splinter, and you have to exert a lot of force yourself.

Poor grip and finish
The grooves on the handles are unfortunately far too hard and cut into your fingers while working. The sharpness could be much better; as it is, it's more like squeezing than cutting.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it.
The scissors don't cut well. They squeeze more, and there are always narrow strips left on the claw that can only be removed with a nail clipper.

Very badly made, cheap terrible quality
Horrible clippers. Very cheap plastic and metal, not finished off properly. The cutting edges were so badly sharpened and had dents in that they ripped and tore some of the first nail I cut. I didn't use them again after that! AVOID!

Sharp but poor craftsmanship.!
The blades are sharp and good for hard black nails. However, the spring in the centre comes loose easily and the lock for the blades is loose too which makes cutting very difficult. Probably got the " Monday" model. .

Not suitable for tough claws
The Trixie claw scissors are not suitable for Great Dane claws; whenever you try to clip, the small red lever always moves forward and blocks.
The cutting performance isn’t good either...
I’ve now thrown them away almost unused.

Not suitable for large dogs
The orange safety catch (which is supposed to keep the clippers closed) broke right away on the first claw. The clippers jam, and I had to unscrew the safety catch. Not good quality – you can hear the plastic cracking when cutting, and they’re not particularly sharp either. I wouldn’t recommend them for large dogs; I have a Golden Retriever.

Claw clippers
The scissors fit very well in the hand. The blade is sharp.
Unfortunately, the connection between the parts is a disaster! With every claw, there’s a risk that the connecting screw comes loose, causing the claw to be cut at an angle or not at all. I’d happily pay a bit more for better quality. Might just about work for small dogs.

not satisfied
Either my dachshund has very tough claws, or the scissors are just rubbish. Luckily, I got them using my points and didn’t have to pay any money... the claws ended up splintered. Not for me or my dog!!

Dangerous!
The safety stop, which is supposedly adjustable, cannot be adjusted at all. If the dog has very long claws, it might work, but with my dog, I would have to cut into the quick because of the long stop. I tried everything to adjust the thing, but when you turn the screw, it just becomes loose. If you tighten it again, the stop stays in the same position. I have no idea how this is supposed to work. For me, it’s probably going in the bin. Too dangerous—one wrong cut and the dog will never let you trim their claws again. I’d rather go back to the old one; at least with that, I can see where I’m cutting.
