Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it.
The scissors don't cut well. They squeeze more, and there are always narrow strips left on the claw that can only be removed with a nail clipper.

Works very well!
Worked really well for our medium-sized dog! Her claws were trimmed easily and without any trouble!

Very badly made, cheap terrible quality
Horrible clippers. Very cheap plastic and metal, not finished off properly. The cutting edges were so badly sharpened and had dents in that they ripped and tore some of the first nail I cut. I didn't use them again after that! AVOID!

Best claw scissors, even for tough claws
We consider this claw trimmer to be the best one we've had so far; it's sharply ground and stays that way for a very long time.
We've never had any issues with the lever, so if something doesn't work, it’s probably a user error ;-)

Take 5
I hated getting my strong black claws cut, I used to really play up at the vets and it would take 5 , 4 people to hold me still 1 to cut. On one occasion the top man even broke his best clippers ha ha, being large strong and powerful really can help sometimes. So now I get them done in the comfort of my own home, with these Tixie deluxe claw clippers, I think the vets happier too and I have new meaning for Take 5, just lay back and relax.

Sharp but poor craftsmanship.!
The blades are sharp and good for hard black nails. However, the spring in the centre comes loose easily and the lock for the blades is loose too which makes cutting very difficult. Probably got the " Monday" model. .

Not suitable for tough claws
The Trixie claw scissors are not suitable for Great Dane claws; whenever you try to clip, the small red lever always moves forward and blocks.
The cutting performance isn’t good either...
I’ve now thrown them away almost unused.

Super claw scissors
We've tried all sorts of claw scissors and pliers, but this one is the best. I have two smaller mixed-breed dogs, and the 16 cm size is absolutely perfect for them. I can only recommend it! :)

Highly recommended
We’re new to this field, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the scissors!

Not suitable for large dogs
The orange safety catch (which is supposed to keep the clippers closed) broke right away on the first claw. The clippers jam, and I had to unscrew the safety catch. Not good quality – you can hear the plastic cracking when cutting, and they’re not particularly sharp either. I wouldn’t recommend them for large dogs; I have a Golden Retriever.

Sharp!
These clippers are pretty large and sharp which is just what we needed; We needed something for our 2 year old cat. You could definitely cut large dogs' nails with them too!

I wouldn’t buy it again.
I received this claw trimmer today and tested it straight away. Honestly, I really don’t understand how all the positive reviews here came about. We have two large dogs, so their claws are big and tough. It might be good for small dogs...
The trimmer doesn’t cut straight at all. Three nails splintered, and the stopper keeps coming loose. It doesn’t seem sharp enough. It’s also uncomfortable for the dog. Returning the trimmer probably won’t be worth it.

Quick and easy
We ordered this claw trimmer because the smaller model absolutely didn’t meet our needs. The larger one, however, is brilliant. We tried it out straight away, and not only does it cut very well and precisely, but thanks to the protective blade, there’s no need to worry about cutting too far. In just 2 minutes, all the claws were trimmed, and everyone’s happy :)

Switched to Oster nail grinder
After struggling with all claw clippers, requiring significant effort especially for thick and tough claws, I switched to the electric claw grinder and haven’t regretted it, as it’s much easier and can be operated effortlessly by a woman.

Claw clippers
The scissors fit very well in the hand. The blade is sharp.
Unfortunately, the connection between the parts is a disaster! With every claw, there’s a risk that the connecting screw comes loose, causing the claw to be cut at an angle or not at all. I’d happily pay a bit more for better quality. Might just about work for small dogs.

not satisfied
Either my dachshund has very tough claws, or the scissors are just rubbish. Luckily, I got them using my points and didn’t have to pay any money... the claws ended up splintered. Not for me or my dog!!

Very good claw scissors !!!!!!!!!!
Delivered at lightning speed from one day to the next, tried it out immediately and absolutely thrilled. I don’t understand the “dangerous” rating at all – you don’t adjust the cutting length by loosening the screw, but rather by moving the specially shaped and adjustable limit stop slightly forward or backward. Then, by holding it against the claw as a test, you can easily see how much will be cut off. It’s really simple. According to the reviews, the scissors were used on much smaller animals than dogs. They are super sharp and give a very sturdy impression.
Well, a description might be helpful for people who aren’t technically inclined, but unfortunately, it’s not included.

Good claw scissors
The claw scissors work brilliantly and flawlessly for large dogs. Easy to handle, it's a piece of cake to use.
