Cheap piece
The older scissors were really sturdy, but after many years, they apparently decided they'd had enough and just fell apart at the front. o.o
The new model is a cheap knockoff. It looks the same but isn’t properly sturdy and isn’t really sharp. Honestly, I’m a bit disappointed because the old scissors cut really well. :/

Should have listened to the warnings
The splinter warnings were no joke, have a file on hand when using this one.

Unsuitable for my pets
I bought this claw clipper because my pets are very impatient when it comes to trimming their claws. I was hoping it would be quicker to use this clipper compared to the conventional claw scissors for pets.
Almost every claw I trimmed with it ended up splintering. So, I’ll be switching back to the old scissors. It might take longer, but the result is much more comfortable for my pets.
I’m giving 2 stars for the price and the fact that the clipper feels quite good in the hand.

Not suitable for medium-sized dogs and quickly loses its sharpness
The claw trimmer is clearly only suitable for small dogs or rodents.
We bought it for our two Cocker mixes. The claws barely fit through the hole, which makes the angle and handling very limited.
Additionally, despite infrequent use, it quickly became blunt, so it’s now unusable.

Not sharp enough
I have ordered this clippers before my kitten arrived so did not have a chance to try it until 3 weeks later. Product looks very well made and it is easy to use. Sadly mine are not sharp at all and it leaves claws crushed instead of nicely cut :(. Cannot blame Zooplus on it tho since of course they do not use every product before it is send.

OK for soft claws
These clippers worked fine until I tried to clip one of my dogs, who has particularly tough claws, when the blades became bent and unusable.

Better to use a regular nail clipper.
I also bought this claw clipper because my cat's long claws were leaving marks when playing too intensely...
The first few claws were trimmed without any issues, although it was noticeable that the claws were more likely being broken off rather than cleanly cut. After that, my little one became scared of the clipper, probably due to the noise made by the spring tensioning.
Now, I just use a regular nail clipper, the kind you can find in any drugstore for us "tin openers," and we're both super happy with it!

not so good
The claws of my rabbits are more likely to break than be cut with this clipper.
