This tool is super sharp (so you don’t break your nails but cut them, just as it should be!). I’ve had this clipper for ages and am only reviewing it now – because it’s held up brilliantly so far! Highly recommended. But please make sure to read the instructions.

Hello, I recently purchased this claw trimmer and I think it's absolutely brilliant! It fits perfectly in the hand, is sharp, and even after trimming two bunnies, it's still in top condition (no signs of wear, material fatigue, etc.). Also worth mentioning, as always, is the fast shipping from Zooplus :-)

The product is easy to use and really works for any pet. We have two guinea pigs and a Chow, and all of them can be treated with the tongs. It’s quick – the animals barely notice it.

The scissors unfortunately fell apart after the first use (three guinea pigs)!

The claws of my rabbits are more likely to break than be cut with this clipper.

I've only used it once so far to cut. The clippers felt good in the hand and were sharp. Kira definitely didn't feel any pain, it was so quick, and afterwards she didn't get caught on the carpet or anything like that. So I assume the cut was good too. The only thing she protested about was me pressing her claws out. She only tolerates that for a short time. Whether the clippers will still be sharp next time remains to be seen.

We used this clipper to trim the claws of our cats, dwarf rabbits, and both dogs (Yorkshire and West Highland Terrier), and it worked perfectly. You can cut very precisely, and the stress for the animals is kept to a minimum. Plus, it saves a lot on vet costs. Absolutely recommendable!

I use this to trim my guinea pigs' claws and have never had any problems so far.

Our tomcat had bitten his claws off, so we had to trim them for him. At first, we used a regular nail clipper meant for human use, but then we decided to get one specifically for the cat kit. Said and done – ordered, received (very quickly, by the way), and tested. The blade must be completely blunt. His claws were totally splintered, and the clipper left parts of the claws intact. After one paw, we quickly put it aside and opted to get a regular nail clipper from the pharmacy instead. That one works significantly better. Absolutely not recommended for any animal.

I couldn’t have imagined that the scissors would cut so well, but I found that I managed to trim my rabbit’s claws in no time at all. I’m thrilled!

The claw trimmer feels very comfortable in the hand. However, the blade stops cutting well after just the third use.

When I used it for the first cut, I was really happy – the pliers were absolutely great. But yesterday, I wanted to use them again to cut something, and what did I find? The blade was out and couldn’t be fixed anymore. So, I don’t find the pliers very durable if they’re already broken now.

I’m completely satisfied with both the scissors and the pliers!

Ideal for small to medium-sized animals; for larger dogs, the opening will likely be too small, and the claw won’t fit in. But it works really well!

For rabbit claws, absolutely brilliant! The blade is sharp, but the special design prevents injuries to the animals, for example, if they pull their little leg away. I can only recommend it. Great value for money!!!!

I'm thrilled. Cutting my rabbits' claws has never been so easy. However, I can imagine that the clippers might struggle with thicker claws.

I had to trim my guinea pigs' claws for the first time and spent a long time debating whether to use scissors or clippers. I decided on the clippers because I figured they'd be easier to handle. I'm very happy with my choice, as trimming the claws was quick and stress-free for the animals!

For dogs with harder claws or larger dogs, it doesn't work at all to trim the claws—the cutting edge of the scissors just slips away instead of cutting. Maybe it works for small dogs.
