Customers appreciate this claw trimmer for its ease of use and effectiveness in trimming cat and rabbit claws. However, some users find it stiff to operate and not sharp enough for kittens’ nails, causing splintering. Useless
Doesn't work at all. The claws aren't cut but crushed and splinter. I tried it several times because at first I thought I was doing something wrong. But this thing is a design flaw. No wonder my cat suddenly hisses when it's time to trim her claws. Straight into the bin with it.

Useless for cats
This claw trimmer doesn’t close properly, doesn’t cut the claws, crushes and splinters them. After two attempts, I stopped to avoid tormenting the poor animal.
Absolutely useless!!! Very lightweight and difficult to hold.

Little super thing :-)
My tomcat is an indoor cat and unfortunately can't manage to "dull" his extremely sharp claws on the scratching post.
With my last order, I used some of my points to get this great tool!
What can I say – both my toes and my bedsheets are very grateful that they're hardly getting punctured anymore ;-)

Perfectly sufficient
The scissors do exactly what they're supposed to: they cut claws. Haven't had any issues with them so far, whether with our tomcat or our puppy (Shih Tzu-Maltese-Mini Yorkie mix), and even other small animals were no problem. For the price: brilliant!

Small but MIGHTY
At first, I thought this claw trimmer would be far too delicate for my medium-sized dog. However, when I had to trim a split claw once, it worked perfectly and I also realised that it was actually much better suited for claw trimming than the larger, but bulkier claw trimmer.
I now use it regularly to everyone's great satisfaction. :-)

Price-performance ratio very good
For the price, the quality is very good.
I originally bought these scissors for trimming our guinea pigs' claws. They're perfect for that purpose!
Additionally, I've even used them to trim the dewclaws of our Labrador mix without any issues. That worked perfectly as well.

Not suitable for us...
I don’t know if I just ended up with the wrong pair of scissors, but mine keeps getting stuck all the time. Plus, I have to press down really hard for the cat claws to actually get clipped. After trying it out on a few claws, the scissors are now just sitting in the cupboard.

Handy scissors
It's a small claw trimmer that can be used discreetly ;-) It cuts very well. Plus, it doesn't squash the claws in any way! Our old cat let us trim her claws for the first time without any fuss. Brilliant, especially at this price! :-)

I'm thrilled...
I was a bit worried at first because of the size and all that.
But for my Jack Russell female, it's absolutely perfect. She falls asleep and relaxes while I trim her claws. I always get nervous with those huge clippers. But this small, handy pair of scissors here... really great! 👍🏽

Also suitable for cats.
We, Lili & Leo, indoor cats, don’t like it when big scissors are around the house. But this little pair of scissors, which cuts well and doesn’t hurt, is really great, and since then we’ve agreed that our claws can be trimmed now and then.

Solid
Does what it's supposed to do. Cuts the claws, feels good in the hand, looks well-made.

Works wonderfully!
Although I was a bit unsure due to the mixed reviews, I wanted to give this claw trimmer a try. I can say: it cuts perfectly, quickly, and effectively the claws of my Persian cat. No crushing or splitting of the claws!
Previously, I had tried a claw clipper from my sister, but it was very large and unwieldy. With this small, handy trimmer, the claws can be trimmed effortlessly! So, I can definitely recommend it!

Very practical
Very easy to handle and works quickly and efficiently. Completely unlike the claw clipper, which caused the claws of our young Maine Coon mix cat to splinter or get crushed. With the claw scissors, there is sometimes still a bit of splintering, but it's very minor and harmless compared to the claw clipper. I would buy it again.

Unsuitable
Cat claws mostly splinter rather than being cut. It only works if you clip just the very tip at the front. The scissors are awkward to use because of their size.

Contrary to
Despite the mixed reviews, I decided to get the scissors. Honestly? They're brilliant. I've got a few (...) cats here, so plenty of "practice material": The scissors are easy to use (well, they're scissors), and they handled all the claws perfectly. They do their job flawlessly, it's quick and injury-free ;) I can't understand the issues others have mentioned – it's pretty obvious that the scissors are too small for (large) dogs or overly thick claws.

If you know how, quite good...
You need to be a bit careful when cutting to avoid squeezing the claws. Once you’ve got the hang of handling it properly, the scissors work quite well. Practice makes perfect... ;) I use the scissors for the claws of my Bengal cats.

Doesn't cut through
The scissors are cheaply made but visually make a decent impression.
Unfortunately, the two cutting edges don’t seem to press tightly together, so the claw isn’t completely cut through. You have to painstakingly go over it again.
Absolutely stressful for the kitten. That’s just not acceptable!!!

Unfortunately, completely useless.
I tried in vain to cut our cat's claws with this. The scissors are blunt and don't close properly; the claws were just squashed but not shortened. I gave up after two attempts to avoid tormenting the poor kitty. So unfortunately, not recommended.
