Great handling and an excellent helper during the shedding season! From now on, it's indispensable. However, the FURejector® (push button for easy removal of dog hair from the comb) often gets stuck. While it can be resolved by repeatedly pressing or manually adjusting the comb, it’s a bit annoying during the grooming process, so I have to deduct one star. Otherwise, we’re very satisfied—our dog is free of loose hair, and it doesn’t seem to bother him.

I bought the Furminator because it was recommended to me by other dog owners. In practice, it proves to be really quick and effective for brushing. However, I have to brush carefully and slowly, otherwise my dog squeaks. Personally, I find the teeth to be relatively sharp (tested by brushing over the back of my hand). Not suitable for my dog's belly. I deducted one star because my double-coated dog has a relatively long-haired tail and "trousers" on his hind legs. Both cannot be handled with the Furminator for short hair, which is a real shame as there are a lot of loose hairs in those areas. Additionally, the instructions in the packaging are not particularly detailed, which also led to a deduction—I expected more for the price. I found some good tips online under "Furminator dog brushing tips," which I feel are missing from the packaging. The protective cap on the new Furminator doesn’t fit as securely as the old one I’ve seen from acquaintances. Otherwise, it’s a good product and a real time-saver for grooming.
