A lot of undercoat comes out, but a lot of loose hairs also get stuck, which end up all over the house when you shake it. I can't confirm the "90% less shedding" claim. It's just as bad as before. I'm disappointed.

I bought the predecessor model of the Furminator and have to say, it removes an incredible amount of hair, especially from my Rottweiler female. The hair stays in the brush until you "push it out" (best to do it straight into the bin). It only works to a limited extent on my long-haired Collie, though. However, neither of the dogs likes the stiff brush, especially around the edges—it seems to hurt them, no matter how gently I try to use it. Otherwise, they’re not usually that reluctant to be brushed.
