With a dog harness, the little one (dachshund puppy) is well secured. To be fair, he’s also very calm during car rides, not to mention he almost falls asleep as soon as the journey begins. ;o) The only downside is that the small carabiner hooks are a bit fiddly.

Easy to assemble, but unfortunately the carabiners for fastening are so small that they don't fit the harness.. Additionally, the seat belts are very thin. Otherwise, great quality.

All in all, a really great seat, also practical and quick to use as a basket/lying spot when visiting other people's homes. Unfortunately, with our moderately chew-happy puppy, the seatbelt only lasted three weeks, as it’s made of relatively thin material.

The seat is great, easy to set up and take down, and stays securely in the car. However, you should be careful about the shape of your car seat. With sports seats and bucket seats, the seating area is too narrow for this product, and the dog seat surface "sags a bit" ;) Otherwise, very satisfied!

We padded the "box" a bit more so that our puppy girl would be comfortable. However, I agree with one of the previous reviewers that a dog/puppy could easily strangle themselves with the harness if they don't stay calm in the box. We're "lucky" that our little one always falls asleep as soon as we start driving. Minus point: the box is slightly too big for sports seats, so you have to "raise the padding" again to make it fit.

For short trips with my Maltese mix dog on the passenger seat, I ordered the car seat. She fits in quite well and is better secured during normal braking. However, I will continue to secure her with the car safety belt. The carabiner solution offered with the seat is not sufficient for me. Unfortunately, the box has quite a strong smell at first, and upon checking, it is labelled as Made in China. I hope the smell dissipates soon. Hence, the deduction in stars.

My dog loves this crate, especially since he’s now allowed to ride in the passenger seat :-) The only downside is the tiny hooks/carabiners for attaching it to the dog harness—they’re always a fiddly challenge. Especially when the dog gets all excited and won’t stay still. That’s why only 4 stars.

How to secure the seat in the car was something I had to look up first. But the dog (Yorkshire Terrier-Tibetan Terrier mix, 5kg) then sat calmly and relaxed next to me. Unfortunately, I had the same problem with the carabiner, and the dog started getting a bit impatient because I was taking so long. The long-distance test is still pending.

Our terrier mix is allowed to ride in this basket on the back seat. Installation was easy, and the size is fine too. What really annoys me, though, is the tiny carabiner hook, which I can't open with one hand. You always have to put everything down to buckle or unbuckle the dog. A slightly higher-quality one would have been better. Otherwise, it's good.

We bought the seat for our Havanese puppy. Overall, everything seemed great. But on the very first trip (in the dark), she got completely tangled up in the two safety straps and screamed in panic as if her life depended on it. Luckily, there were two of us, and my partner was able to free the poor little one. Now we only secure her with one strap, and everything is fine – she still enjoys getting in regardless.
