Attention! This and other car seats are only a restraint for the dog! For safety, I use the Dogsto safety belt and a harness recommended by TÜV. Both are available here in the shop. If placed on the front passenger seat, any dog risks being severely injured by the airbag.

I bought this car seat because of the good reviews. I secured my Bolonka puppy to the harness using the two straps so that she would be safe while driving. I quickly went into a shop, and when I came back, she had twisted herself around so much with her paw that she got completely tangled up, and I couldn’t free her anymore. I had to cut the strap and was really shocked because she could have strangled herself. Absolutely unsuitable for puppies!!

I bought this small dog car seat for my puppy. he is now 6 months old. I had a journey of 45 minutes and after about 30 minutes he had tied himself up so badly with the restraints attached to his harness, he was yelping in panic and pain. I stopped the car and it took me ten minutes to carefully detach them from his harness without hurting him. They had wrapped around his leg so tightly he couldn't move. I would not recommend this car seat at all unless you get a separate seat belt harness.

The dog was on the back seat with these seat belts and managed to get so tangled up that its leg almost got dislocated. So you really need a separate safety belt to secure the dog, because the straps on this seat don’t work and can even be dangerous. I also don’t really understand the attachment system—how are you supposed to fix this to the seat?
