Dog Car Seat

Was unsure to buy this are not by mixed reviews but it's perfect can't wait to get my pooch in shure he will love it

I bought this for my 3 month old Miniature Pinscher puppy. She wet the base in the first week and I had no idea how to clean it without ruining it. The base is fleecy on one side and polyester on the other with cardboard in the middle. I ended up throwing away the base as I could not put it in the washing machine (to remove all traces of urine and discourage wetting the same spot). I now use a vet bed with an unscented puppy pad or small dog bed) as a base instead. The straps are a bit thin.

My little man loves this and is now safe and sound when we are out and about. Folds away easily for storage, is easy to put back together and easy to fit what more could his highness need

Got this for my 2 frenchies, they have been sharing but will b soon buying another so they have one each, perfect size for the car, very happy!!

I bought this small dog car seat for my puppy. he is now 6 months old. I had a journey of 45 minutes and after about 30 minutes he had tied himself up so badly with the restraints attached to his harness, he was yelping in panic and pain. I stopped the car and it took me ten minutes to carefully detach them from his harness without hurting him. They had wrapped around his leg so tightly he couldn't move. I would not recommend this car seat at all unless you get a separate seat belt harness.

The dog was on the back seat with these seat belts and managed to get so tangled up that its leg almost got dislocated. So you really need a separate safety belt to secure the dog, because the straps on this seat don’t work and can even be dangerous. I also don’t really understand the attachment system—how are you supposed to fix this to the seat?

Great idea, but the car strap that attaches to the dog harness was no match for puppy teeth – so that strap broke quickly and we couldn’t use the car seat anymore. The car seat probably would have worked perfectly if we’d started using it after the worst puppy chewing phase was over!

This is the second car seat I’ve bought so I can have one in each car without having to move it around. My little dog Zoe, a Jack Russell, is very happy to use it. She doesn’t usually like car rides, but with this seat she manages to relax because she feels safe. It’s very practical, well made, and has four zips so you can open it up completely. There’s a cushion inside and two hooks to attach to the dog’s harness—unfortunately, the hooks are a bit small, so it’s a bit tricky to fasten both harness clips.

The crate is only suitable for sitting dogs up to a maximum of 8 kilos. Also, the carabiners and straps are really tiny. My 6-kilo puppy chewed through two straps within 2 minutes. Unfortunately, you can't replace them, so the whole thing has to go in the bin. Shame about the money.
