Standard too small
My Yorkie weighs 5 kg... the standard size is absolutely not sufficient for that. It's going back!! Furthermore, the metal bar only goes halfway across the underside of the basket, which makes the whole thing very unstable. I've now opted for the Maxi and I'm very satisfied.

Large basket
We received the large basket for mounting on the steering tube after just 2 days! Brilliant!
We were absolutely thrilled. It’s easy to assemble, spacious enough for our 10kg furry treasure, and looks great.
The only downside for me is that the fun of riding is somewhat compromised due to stability issues. If the dog lies completely to the right or left, the bike tilts so much that it becomes very difficult to ride calmly and straight. Therefore, I don’t think I’d want to use it for really long distances.
3 stars because of the riding characteristics. Everything else is good, and we’re definitely keeping the basket.

Value for money not okay
The enthusiasm for the basket is still quite limited for me. Basically, it's just a basket—neither particularly high-quality nor sturdier than any ordinary wicker basket—with a wire lid and a cheap lining reminiscent of a wax tablecloth. The mounting system and the whole thing don't even justify the reduced price here on Zooplus, which is nearly 60 euros, in any way.
Our maiden voyage was survived by our little dog, but the basket wobbled alarmingly. Due to her weight (5.5 kg), the basket tilted slightly, even though I'm sure I mounted everything correctly. The fastenings between the basket and the lid aren't great either—the lid shifts while riding. Overall, everything feels quite unstable. While it will probably hold, neither the dog nor I feel comfortable with it.
When searching for a suitable basket, I was never sure whether it would be suitable for a racing bike. Well, visually, the combination looks rather unimpressive, but the bike itself isn't affected by the basket. There's enough clearance for the brakes and gear levers. The baskets available on the market all seem to be somewhat underwhelming. The dog is probably safer on the luggage rack, provided you have one. I don't, which is why I opted for the handlebar basket.

Quality is fine, but steering is heavily restricted.
The basket itself seems to be sturdy, although, as mentioned in another review, the bracket under the basket should extend further forward (it only goes halfway). The bracket that attaches to the bike also doesn’t give the impression of being particularly stable. We didn’t even test the basket with our dog because here comes the major drawback: the steering angle is severely restricted. If you really need to turn the handlebars sharply, a fall is almost inevitable. We couldn’t mount the bracket lower down on either of our bikes so that the basket wouldn’t get in the way. Such a shame. Now we’ll probably have to buy a different basket for the luggage rack instead. The only downside is that it’s not as easy to switch it between bikes...

Fitting
Love the look of the basket but the handle bar fittings don't fit either mine or my husband's bikes. Have a rear pannier fitted and have mounted it on there (not using the fittings provided). Also the instructions are non-existent.
