Protective grille mounting
Mounting the basket on the bike is very straightforward. The basket and protective grid are suitably sturdy. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the three buckles that attach the grid to the basket. They are made of cardboard wrapped in plastic. They were already torn upon delivery and therefore unusable. My solution to this was to use Velcro straps...

Excellent product
Brought large size for my westie, fits in it no problem if anything could have done with the next size down. He absolutely loves it and can now accompany us wherever we go. needs two people to get him in and out due to the weight on the bike, and have to remember to use the back brake more than the front as bike is top heavy! Took a long time to initially fit this, but managed it by rotating the handlebars round, but the bracket is so descrete when the basket is not in use.

Great excursions
Our dog, a Jack Russell, and I wouldn’t want to be without this fantastic basket anymore. My dog loves it. It’s perfect for going on bike rides in nice weather and finally leaving the car at home for once. It does take a bit of getting used to at first. I’d recommend riding a few times without the dog to get a good feel for it and build confidence.

Bike Pet Basket XXL
I’m only giving 3 stars because it’s a bit tricky when the dog moves—you can easily lose your balance. I used to have something similar for the front. Bicycle trailers are definitely better because you’re less likely to fall with them; they’re safer to use.

Quality is fine, but steering is heavily restricted.
The basket itself seems to be sturdy, although, as mentioned in another review, the bracket under the basket should extend further forward (it only goes halfway). The bracket that attaches to the bike also doesn’t give the impression of being particularly stable. We didn’t even test the basket with our dog because here comes the major drawback: the steering angle is severely restricted. If you really need to turn the handlebars sharply, a fall is almost inevitable. We couldn’t mount the bracket lower down on either of our bikes so that the basket wouldn’t get in the way. Such a shame. Now we’ll probably have to buy a different basket for the luggage rack instead. The only downside is that it’s not as easy to switch it between bikes...

Great dog basket
The basket can be mounted on the luggage rack without any problems (I have a trekking bike). I only replaced the supplied seat liner with a cushion. My Jack Russell female is happy too and has plenty of space.

Super quick and easy to assemble.
The basket was delivered within 2 days and fully meets our expectations. It comes with assembly instructions, but it would also be easy to assemble without them. On our luggage rack (standard trekking bike), the basket was securely mounted within 5 minutes without wobbling. Since the basket is positioned at the back, the bike's handling remains unaffected. However, a cushion is still necessary, as the included liner is more of a joke. Our dachshund (6.5 kg) thoroughly enjoyed the first outing in it.

Great piece of kit
My Parson Russell and I think the basket is great. The riding experience feels a bit strange at first (you can no longer see the front wheel while cycling), but you get used to it quickly. Above all, the basket doesn’t wobble back and forth with every turn, thanks to its mounting on the fork. The grid over the basket also makes it safe for the dog. What’s not so great are the plastic straps used to attach the grid. They tore after a short time and I had to replace them.
With the basket, long bike trips are possible. When the dog gets tired, he goes into the basket. And the luggage rack stays free, so you can transport other things in addition to the dog.

Simply brilliant!!
Our elderly Miniature Pinscher lady Maxi can finally join us on all our outings again. Thanks to the instructions, the basket is super easy to attach and doesn’t get in the way at all when riding on the luggage rack. This has saved our summer!

Dog basket for handlebar mounting
The dog basket for handlebar mounting is perfect. When the attachment is properly installed, the basket sits 100% securely and doesn’t tilt forward. The distance between the handlebar and basket is also good. Brake and gear cables aren’t pinched. Our dog (7 kg) loves it in there. Highly recommended.

The bike basket is not sturdy enough.
After mounting the basket with the supplied bracket, I noticed that the basket tilted downwards at the front. You would have had to bend the bracket to ensure the basket was attached horizontally. During a test ride, the whole thing wobbled. It doesn’t feel safe to me. I sent the basket back and will buy one for the luggage rack instead.

Really very good quality, but up to 20 kilos?
The basket is really great and very sturdy, but you do end up wobbling quite a bit if the dog turns around in the back of the basket or sits right in the corner. So you really need to keep both hands firmly on the handlebars, otherwise you’ll end up in the ditch – and my dog only weighs 13 kilos. I think for a heavier dog, it would be better to go for a trailer instead. But otherwise, it’s truly a fantastic, huge luxury basket. I did line it with a blanket though, as there are some pretty sharp edges on the wicker at the sides, and the dog could actually get hurt.

It don't fit!
We have 4 bikes and the handle bar fittings don't fit any bike! We have a rear pannier fitted and have mounted it on there (not using the fittings provided). The instructions are non-existent. Good quality but will NOT fit typical UK Mountain bikes.

Great
I bought one of these bike baskets (maxi) at the end of the week and tried it out straight away. I have three small dogs – together they weigh about 10 kg – and they fit in perfectly. They can either sit upright or lie down, as there's plenty of space for both. You just need to tighten the screws regularly so the basket doesn’t slip. Otherwise, it’s a brilliant product! I’m absolutely thrilled because now I can go cycling with all three of them!

Simply brilliant!!
I ordered the bike basket for my Jack Russell male, and he loves it!! The only problem I had was that the screws were too short... but that's probably more to do with my bike. Overall, I'm very happy with it =)

Bicycle Basket with Protective Wire Maxi Size
We the Maxi for 'Killer' our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
I was afraid that she would make a nervous passenger, but loves every minute of being on the bike.
Bike handles OK but you have to be careful when pushing the bike through stiles etc as becomes top heavy.

worth all the money
We bought the maxi size one for our miniature schnauzer who turned out to be nearly standard in size. It took a while to fit but sits nicely on the front of the bike. Our dog is quite happy to be put in it but its hard to control steering when he sits up and moves about.

Wobbly and Unstable
We bought the larger basket for our dachshund (approx. 10 kg) and assembled it with great effort. During the very first test sitting, it became clear that this wasn’t going to work. The basket wobbled and tipped forward because the stabilisation underneath the basket didn’t even extend halfway across it. On top of that, the bike could no longer be steered properly as the basket was constantly in the way.
Such a shame, we had higher expectations.
