I can't recommend it for large and heavy cats, it tips over when they scratch. For small cats, it's a very nice scratching post.

This is a lovely tall scratching post and very nice to look at...however!....down the centre of each leaf, there is a very sharp wire for arranging the leaves....one of the wires was protruding through the end...the thought of it poking my cat in the eye...terrified me!!! I slid the leaf down the wire and removed the wire with a sharp tug...and did the same for the remaining leaves. The leaves now fall gently down but better than a wire in my cat's eye....otherwise, a great post...nice and tall.

Unfortunately, the sisal is already coming undone after just a month because my cats love this tree so much. They could have wrapped the rope a bit tighter... Such a shame.

Hello! We've had the post for a few months now, but unfortunately, the post has "ripped out" of the wooden base. The wood there is completely brittle. :( Up until now, we were very happy with the post!!!!
