broke after 2 months
This cat tree broke after about 2-3 months, and was barely used. The thread on the screws which are supposed to secure it in place just spin and can’t be fixed. My 5 cats weren’t very interested in it anyway and chose a wider more robust tree every time. It’s gone in the bin.

Quality has dropped significantly!
I bought this scratching post many years ago and was very happy with it.
Since the design adjustment, however, the quality has drastically declined. This is now the second one I've had to take to the bulky waste after just a few weeks because the sisal has come loose and the plush on the base plate is full of holes.
Sustainability looks different!

Faulty product
The product itself is great quality and I was very excited for my cat to have, especially when I saw all these glowing reviews But unfortunately the screw they gave was too small and so it was not assembling to the base and had to return it which was a shame.

Warning Sharp Metal Within Felt Leaves. Potential Hazard
I purchased this for my 3 10 week old kittens. They absolutely love it, it's extremely sturdy and all 3 of them climb it at once.
It's a beautiful design but sadly the wire used to make the palm leaves rigid is sharp and can pierce through the felt leaves. I have removed all the leaves as I was concerned they would have an eye out. Really annoyed that the manufacturer did not consider making the metal within the leaves more safe. You can remove the leaves and the metal rods by pulling them out of the trunk which is a shame but worth doing to prevent injury, I did not want to use pliers in case I left sharp pieces which they could cut themselves on.
