Scorched Wood Cat Tree

Invested in this beautiful cat tree for my kitties. Went out for day and came back to it literally shredded. They had pulled all the wicker out and chewed it up into little pieces that were strewn all over my house. I was devastated as it was £150 and hadn’t lasted more than 24 hrs. Never had a tree destroyed like that before. Don’t buy. One of my cats also nearly choked on a piece of the wicker that was pulled out too!

This is not fit for purpose as my cats destroyed the top basket within weeks of setting it up.

The wood in this is very softwood. The base was scratched and one of the posts had two big dents in it. The Wicker baskets feel very flimsy. Overall it's a shame because it's a nice looking product. It just screams cheap whereas the price is completely in the opposite direction. I should have took more attention to other peoples reviews. And maybe so should. Wayfair.

Bought These cat trees 2 months ago. They have been the worst buy ever as they are in tatters now with my cats scratching the rattan beds. Look good but a complete Waste of money.

Initially the tree looked great, but after only a couple months two oriental kittens have managed to completely dismantle the baskets. Thus not only looking awful, but also leaving our living room covered in basket weave which we need to clean up on a daily basis. Extremely disappointed with its durability.

As a breeder of British Shorthair cats i always look for good quality cat trees that last. Unfortunately this cat tree does not last. I have had mine for less than 4 months for the kittens to use . It is falling apart with holes in it where the weave has come out and is looks so shabby. Extremely disappointed with this product. I still have a banana leaf tree i purchased 3 years ago and its still like new!! And considering they were same price i know which one i would rather spend my money ....

Delivery was quick, but the tree was very disappointing. It's a pity you can't upload pictures here, because the sisal is much lighter than in the photos and the baskets aren't brown but purple. On top of that, the wood is very light and the baskets flake off EXTREMELY. If you get three splinters just from unpacking and have to vacuum twice, that's not a sign of a quality product. There are also glue residues in multiple places that won't come off. Was really looking forward to it, but the disappointment was even bigger.
