I read all the reviews, good & bad, but decided to proceed with the purchase, hoping my experience would be a good one. Unfortunately, it was not. The package was badly damaged & dirty when it arrived, which meant the base of the tree was exposed & also dirty. The fabric covering the cone-shaped connector at the base of the lower limb was torn, exposing the plastic casing beneath. Finally, the upper limb would not securely attach to the lower limb. Very disappointed. This item is returned.

THIS PRODUCT IS WELL MADE, BUT THE PUTTING TOGETHER IS NOT STABLE, THE TREE TOP PART DOES NOT CONNECT TO THE TREE BOTTOM FIRMLY , AND ITS WONKY AND SHAKES , THE MAKER NEEDS TO PROVIDE A BETTER HINGE FOR THIS PRODUCT TO STOP IT FROM WOBBLING , IM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS CAT TREE,

Snapped in two with my cat in it, crashed onto nearby table destroying a lamp. No way to fix it. Total disappointment. Beautiful, but very poorly made. I wish it wasn't. Been looking for something lovely to live with for ages.

Not only it arrived late but it arrived open and dirty, very dirty and stains everywhere. It's such a disappointment given the price is not low. They offered me a coupon so I can buy more things from them and spend more money! Not satisfying at all! I have pics if anyone is interested!

We’ve had two of these - one as a replacement - and they’ve both snapped at the join whilst a cat was in it. Both times causing damage in the house! STAY CLEAR OF THIS!

I was keen to buy this cat tree as it looks amazing and looked perfect for our three cats. I DID look at all the reviews and the repeated complaints that the top half does not attach to the bottom half when assembling. I ignored these hoping I would have no problems but alas we had exactly the same problem as other reviewers. The bolt attachment will not thread and tighten when trying to assemble despite multiple attempts and a very frustrating afternoon. Looks nice but avoid buying!

Impossible to build. Top piece will not connect to the bottom due to poor quality bolts. Complete waste of time.

Had this cat tree since December and it’s already become a hanging hazard. The baskets have holes in them exposing the metal frame underneath. A cat could easily get their head stuck in the basket which could be deadly. Not worth the risk at all. Shame because the cat tree does look really nice but it just doesn’t last for long if your cats enjoy taking chunks out of the straw! I was tempted to cover the straw with something else, but doesn’t seem worth it.

It looks amazing, don’t get me wrong. However, the top part quickly became loose and started to wobble pretty badly. Got a handyman out to unscrew it and then use super strong glue to put it back together. I mean I only had one small cat when I got it in the first place. I would really like to get some sort of refund but can’t figure out how to apply on it online …

Joining the two halves together has proved impossible, would not catch on the thread which appears non existent. It has taken three people and most of the morning. Left it in the end as a shortened version. Waste of time and money.

Two men, one an engineer, tried to put this cat tree together and had to give up. The screw between upper and lower "trunk" would not engage, rendering the whole upper part unusable. A great disappointment for an expensive bit of kit that could have been stunning.

It looks great the cats love it. There ends the good points. Within months the baskets fell apart and top trunk piece was so bad it rocked when the kitten jumped up. We contacted Zooplus who replace the parts. However, within 3 months one of the new baskets completely collapsed the wire frame broke the sisal bulged and opened with my cats bum sticking out. Put one of old baskets back but rest have failed badly. Top trunk has also failed again and can't be tightened. It now wobbles dangerously.

Sadly although this cat tree is aesthetically stunning within 3 weeks the central screw in the lower stem (which is the only anchor point for the attachment of the heavy upper stem) worked loose within its factory fitting .which caused the upper half of the tree to sway vigorously when my cat climbed it making it dangerous and unusable. I note from previous reviews this is not an isolated occurrence and my cat has already started to chew the baskets and they look messy, Best to avoid.

I bought this for my cats four large cobby British Shorthairs, based on the favourable reviews, but the first time our biggest cat used it he had trouble climbing down from the top bed, and then so did two of our other cats, we thought we would let them get used to it but the worst happened, our biggest boy 8kgs fell from the top losing his footing on the way down, so I have to regard this tree as severely unstable needless to say we have since replaced with a more robust one.
