Broken
Unfortunately, this scratching pad didn’t even last a week before it broke in the middle :(. Such a shame, as we had good experiences with the first one, in a different shape.

Lots of fun for the kittens
After just ten days, it’s already quite worn out because my four cats use the board constantly.
Since then, they’ve really kept their claws off the furniture, and even the scratching posts aren’t as interesting anymore.
It’s also alternately used as a play and sleeping spot.
I’ve ordered two more today!!
Highly recommended for the price.

My cat loves it
Weirdly, my cat absolutely loves this. She plays with it for hours, even four months later and it's her new favourite bed. Best toy/bed ever.

Fun for all
I bought this for my cats in desperation as they were scratching everywhere especially the carpet on the bottom stair and the arm of the sofa. It didn't stop the scratching but all 6 of my cats love it and there is often an unhappy cat waiting for it. They all scratch it, sleep on it and sit there looking at us. I have to keep the balls topped up, there is a pack in poundland that has the right sized balls. They do play with other toys but this is their favourite by far.

The cats unfortunately aren't interested.
It makes a good impression, but the cats aren’t interested in it... even with the included sprinkle-on additive, it unfortunately doesn’t become any more appealing. We took out the balls inside, and at least they’re being played with :)

Instant success
Both our cats loved this straight away. The cat nip with it actually worked for them too - our pet shop one had no effect on them.

Favourite pastime
My two Norwegian ladies love to keep fetching the hidden balls to play with them over and over again... it’s also happily used as a spot for a quick nap in between.

Durability is mediocre
Unfortunately, even the second time, the cardboard quickly broke under the (normal) weight of my cats and developed a tear at the spot where it wasn't supported.

Classy! Just not suitable for big cats...
My three tomcats actually had a lot of fun with the cardboard.
The problem... Since the cardboard rests on two "supports" on the sides of the box, the scratching cardboard easily breaks in the middle under heavier cats. That happened to us on day 2.
For European Shorthairs, though, the scratching cardboard should be perfectly suitable!

Fantastic value for money
I bought this and a few other products to stop my cats from scratching carpets etc when moving into a rented property , one of my cats loves this so much uses it all the time and even sleeps on top of it through the day , such a good buy .

Almost perfect
My two Coonies love this thing, but: it bends under their weight. A middle support could solve the problem – I just put a bowl inside to fix it. Second point: my two quickly figured out how to knock the scratching cardboard out of the box to get to the hidden treats as fast as possible. I fixed it with glue, but that's not the ideal solution. Despite this, I'll still buy it again for the price.

Wonderful, even for treats
My two tigers absolutely love it. You can also hide treats in it brilliantly. A fantastic activity toy!

multifunctional
Older cats don't necessarily like scratching posts, but scratch cardboard is brilliant. I sometimes hide treats underneath it too, so there's something for them to do. It doesn't last forever, but it's absolutely great value for money in comparison.

Fantastic value!
My kitten loves this one - scratcher and toy all in one!

All three are crazy about it.
I've bought this scratching furniture many times before. My three can never get enough of it. Scratching, claiming it, squabbling over who gets to use it first. The little one loves the balls, my middle one scratches, and if they can't reach it, the corrugated cardboard gets shredded. The big one likes to take naps on it.
It definitely won't be the last one I buy.
I'm happy with it, and mine are kept entertained.

In use for 5 years
I was just browsing and rediscovered this gem. We now have 3 cats, 2 British Shorthairs and a 6-month-old Fold girl.
Five years ago, I bought this box, and it’s still standing strong. My cat mainly uses it to lie on. Woe betide one of the other two if they try to claim her throne! But all three still play with it. I hide toys in the holes, and they fish them out. I’d buy it again and again! But for now, it’s still holding up.

The openings are too large.
The board was played with straight away. Unfortunately, our cat managed to fish the balls out through the openings within 5 minutes. That was the end of the toy for him. It would be better if the balls were larger than the openings...

Amazing and fat cat approved!
This type of product is an all time favourite to our 3 cats! The other more expensive options from other pet stores are awful quality in comparison to this! They are super strong and withstand a 6.5kg Maine coon cat to sleep on top! They love to play with these, scratch them and even sleep on them!

My cat loves it.
Uses it intensively, but unfortunately it's not really suitable for heavy cats (6kg) – it broke in the middle. A solution could be to add a support beam in the centre. I'll buy it again if the middle becomes more stable :)
