At first, both of them loved playing with it, but now only he does, and very enthusiastically at that. However, they both still use it extensively for scratching, and even after more than half a year, it continues to serve its purpose. Absolutely recommendable! :)

Its not expensive (about the same as a similar one in a big high street pet store) so I wasn't expecting anything amazing, but it does the job as a scratch pad and my cat likes to sit on it as well, as its raised a bit off the floor. I'm slightly worried about the balls inside - after the first couple of days I found one on the floor, and yesterday I saw him reach in and hook one out quite easily. I'm not sure whether they are meant to come out and are safe for unsupervised play.

This was part of the starter kit for my kittens and has been constantly played with, scratched, and – when I take the balls out at night for the sake of my lovely neighbours – happily used as a sleeping box ever since. They're now 8 months old. Unbeatable for the price.

.......not just for scratching, our tomcat plays with it a lot. I keep putting different toys inside, preferably fabric mice.

My hen was really excited to sit on it, but it broke right in the middle. So much for the fun of playing. She still lies on it, but that's about it. What a shame.

My cats love this thing!! For scratching, playing, and as a bed. I’d be delighted if the cardboard insert could be ordered separately. That way, you wouldn’t have to keep replacing the whole frame, saving money and reducing waste. The price has been fine so far, but I do start to feel a bit uneasy when it goes over 6 euros. A cheaper replacement insert would help here too.

Our cats fished out the play balls within 10 minutes and started playing with them. The scratching board is being used a lot, even as a lounging spot. I’ll definitely order it again – I’m very happy with it. It’s a big hit with my furry friends.

It's a great toy and also something for scratching. I've had very good experiences with it. Highly recommended, it's well received.

My cat managed to get the balls out in no time at all – such a shame the holes are so big. Otherwise, she absolutely loves it. Once all the balls were constantly out, I removed the attachment, and since then she’s just been lying in the box, chewing on the edges. It’s a big hit – time for a new one. Value for money is unbeatable!

My two cats haven’t scratched it even once in the past eight months, even though they love other cardboard scratching boards. If I put treats in the box, they’ll paw at the holes a bit... but that’s about it. Unfortunately... The product itself looks high-quality (which is why I’m still giving it 3 stars), and I can’t find anything about it that would make it unappealing to the cats.

My two cats used the scratching cardboard both for playing and scratching. They weren’t too bothered about fishing the ball out of the holes. I just popped it back in, and they could start playing again. I think it’s great that the cardboard scraps fell into the box surrounding the cardboard. That meant there weren’t too many scraps lying around on the floor. To ensure even use of the cardboard, I regularly turned it over until it was so shredded that it broke apart.

Very good product. So far my cat’s favorite as he can do anything with it; play, sleep on it, scratch.

Our furry friends absolutely love this toy. We only had to replace the balls because our younger cat figured out within an hour that he could use his claws to pull the balls out of the holes – which he did. Still, highly recommended!

The kittens love this box, for fishing things out and for scratching. I'll need to order a new one soon as the mat is quite worn out.

I have one of these out in the lounge at all time. I thought that only 2 balls was a little mean but have put in other balls for the cats to pull out. When one side is shredded I can turn it over but this needs a support bar across the middle as well as it bends in the middle. All of my cats like to sit/lie/sleep on this and take turns. The other drawback is the amount of shredded cardboard which spreads around the lounge on a daily basis!
