Excellent Cat Food
My cat is extremely fussy, so I thought I would try a high quality food like this one, she loves it! Litter box odour has been massively reduced, she has a beautiful soft coat and a lean body. I'm happy this will keep her healthy.

Great for reducing litter odour....
This cat food is really great for reducing litter odour, there is virtually no smell at all, compared to a diabolical smell from Whiskas dry!
However, my lovely playful cat turned into a complete maniac, especially straight after eating his meal, which he would polish off within a minute or two, and would immediately want more. It seems there is almost something addictive in it, and he was never satisfied - constantly hungry, where he is not like that with other food. This food made him ridiculously hyperactive for long periods - to the point where we had to shut him out of the lounge until he had worn himself out! Playing with him would make him even worse (and nippy), he would charge around so much everything went flying, and I was worried he could also injure himself!
I have switched him gradually over to Purina One to see if it made a difference, and straight away the hyperactivty began to subside, so it must be this food.

Purrfect!
I have a 3-legged boy who lives indoors. The vet suggested I try a lower calorie dry food to keep his weight down. Very pleased I came across this cat food. He liked it immediatly & the HUGE advantage is the difference in the smell of the the litter tray. Before I could tell the litter tray needing scooping from another room! Now I don't even know he's gone until I go into the bathroom where tray is kept! Very happy & will certainly continue buying it.

Gave me cats diarrhea!
My 6 cats are usually on royal canin sensible ( although they dont have sentive stomachs...) as my cats are kept indoors, i thought i would try this food. 3 of my cats were fine on it, the other 3 had chronic diarrhea, the smell was disguisting!
I have since taken them off this, and return to the roya canin sensible. I have also read other reviews online about this food with the same results my cats suffered. Be wary of this product.

Was not the best for my cat
I have always fed Royal canin products to my cats as it was "recommended" by vets and you do see rave reviews. Plus it is on shelves of most veterinary clinics, so one do assume it must be good. My cats suffered frequent vomiting, diarrhoea and smelly stools with this food plus seem to gain weight quickly. I have since changed them to grain free kibbles in combination with whole natural wet foods including raw feed. They no longer suffer any abnormal symptoms. I will never again feed my cats any food that has animal by-products and grains as its main ingredients.

Brilliant
Cat loves it - got so used to it that doesn't even want any other food. And the food certainly works as promised - no more smelly stuff! ;) very much recommended, works wonders

they love it
My 4 cats are completely into Royal Canin. They won't eat any other dry food any more.

addictive
My cat loves this dry food. The problem is that he gets so excited that his bowl is instantly empty even though the food is supposed to last several days... So we have to portion it out to stop him ending up as big as a house.

not suitable for all cats
I wouldn't recommend this for all cats. You should try it. There are some ingredients that help your cat to feel more and faster full but not all cats get on well with this. Result is that some cats bring it back up again.

thank goodness
I have a BSH silver tabby and she has been on royal canin since a kitten but silly me decided to change her food over so for the past 2 and half years or more she has tried a whole variety of other dried food more then l care to remember. Since just before xmas she had not been well was throwing up and pooing all the time, my husband said enough is enough and so we went out and bought royal canin indoor as that was what she was on when she was a year old and it was on offer at time well thats been 10 days after a bit of hit and miss she is lot better still varies how many times she goes from just once to 4 but no nasty surprises anymore and hardley smells which is good. She loves this food and never leaves crumbs in her bowl so she must remember having it before. so fingers crossed early days but hopeful that she will be on this for life. Recommend this for indoor cats or cats like go out sometimes and if you cat has delicate stomach as well. Happy days

Indoor brilliant (Fussy cat)
As with other reviews this cat is FUSSY. She was on Canine Kitten, but we had to struggle to find an alternative.
Bullseye, Indoor, Ragdoll, and a small bag of maine coon (for variety)
She is extremely fussy, but such selection (incidentally where has the Adult Chicken and whitebait from Wellbeloved (same company, I think) gone?)
Well done RC

Mega!!
As quite a novice cat owner (10 yo son begged me for a kitten), I'm slowly learning the good and bad things about owning an exclusive indoor 1 year old cat.
For me the absolute biggest problem was the stench from the poo! It made me quite miserable and our wee cat seemed to prefer the exhibitionist poo tendencies.. Waiting for us to come home then perform,it was making me quite agitated constantly whining about the ever present stench no matter how much I scooped the poop , changed the litter etc etc.
Well .. My prayers have been answered .. I have discovered the pure joy of indoor 27 royal canin ... And I honestly felt compelled to shout it from the rooftops!
She poos.. And there is no smell.. It's a miracle. She was on wet food before but has happily converted to the croquettes. I am one happy cat owner and can't praise this product highly enough. Thank you Royal Canin scientists please keep on doing your amazing work.

Perfect for my indoor cats
I have a 3 year old Maine Coon and a 1 year old Ragdoll - both have pretty sensitive tummies and were on Iams Chicken Hairball(both also indoor kitties). Oh boy, did my Raggie's poo stink!! He was also getting a little to chubby, so we switched to Royal Canin Indoor 27. What a difference to the odour of the poo! It literally got better overnight. So I would recommend it just for that! It is very palatable for both my cats - absolutely no problems with dodgy tummies.

best food
I've tried out a few different food brands. This has been the best one for my two cats and digest it really well.

Great food.
I have two Siamese neutered boys, aged 3 & 4, they are active house cats, this food suits them both very well, i have tried many foods in the Royal Canin range but this is the best, one cat gets a little constipated & they both tend to gorge their food sometimes & are then sick, but on this food i have very little problems, both cats stay an ideal weight on this to. This is my first purchase off Zooplus & it was a very easy shopping experience, with excellent delivery.

Great!
I have recently bought Royal Canin Indoor 27 for my indoor cats - one is a Maine Coon and the other a Ragdoll. Our Ragdoll is only 1 but already a little "chunky" shall we say? So my vet suggested a change in diet. Previously both cats were having Iams Hairball. I have yet to see any weight loss as it's early days, but both the cats LOVE this food. There is never any left in their bowls! Two benefits so far: (1) my Maine Coon has a sensitive tummy and she has had no adverse problems with Royal Canin Indoor; (2) my Ragdoll's poo literally stunk the place out when he was eating Iams - this is no longer a problem. It does say on the Royal Canin pack that it will reduce poo-odour, but I never actually believed it would. Yipee! Given that he particularly likes to use the litter tray just before visitors arrive, this is a major bonus! So I would highly recommend this food!

Excellent food for six fussy cats.
I now have six, very fussy, indoor cats of various ages from a year old to five years old and all with differing health complaints, from FIV to bad acne, and all of whom were rescues. I free feed as we have two who can be possessive of food and it's easier if there's always food down for them. After trying several other brands, I changed them all onto this food as they were having problems with other brands and, despite being very fussy about what they eat, they all took to it straight away. I now have six happy, healthy, cats with good teeth and soft shiny coats. Their litter tray no longer stinks, the acne has cleared up and any digestive problems have all settled down. And the best thing is that they don't gorge on it so I have no problems with them being overweight. I'm so glad I changed to Royal Canin Indoor food and can't say enough good things about it.
