Contented Cats
We have tried various brands and types of dry cat food in recent years, but our cats clearly
enjoy Royal Canin indoor 27 dry cat food much
more than any of the others.
Good brand, Good quality!

Please avoid!
My adult British Blue a short hair has had trouble and occasionally throws this up as well as diarrhoea once. Please be careful. Might go back to kitten version for now.

Should have listened to other reviews
I wish I'd paid more attention to previous reviews.
After feeding this our 2 year old indoor cat for only a couple of days she was persistently sick. Switching back to her previous dry food resolved the issue.

Indoor 27, now Indoor
We have given Royal Canin Indoor 27 to our cats for 10+ years. I wish it had been available or I had known about it for our previous five cats. Having said that, they all lived for 19-20 years.
We have 15 at this time and Royal Cannin is main used but also some Hills prescription (3 types) for 6 of them

Makes my cat sick
This dry food makes my cat throw up every time. Even just one or two pebbles are enough for her to get sick. Haven't had this experience with any other dry food.

Don't believe the hype!
I gave my two cats this food for years with no problem then I heard how bad it was so I changed them to a grain free diet. My Devon Rex was okay on the grain free, however, my Siberian became very ill with blood in her loose poo! She had tests at the vet which all came back negative. We traced the decline in her health back to the change in her diet. I put her back onto Royal Canin and she made a full recovery! One size does not fit all and grain free does not suit all cats!!

Robbery
How this company has gotten away this long with charging so much for nothing more than cheap fillers is beyond me. If this product was cheap it would be ok, but at this price point you don't expect to see pencil shavings and garbage from the brewery in your cats food.

Cat Lover
This is one of the worst foods you can give to your cat. We used for odor control as it was needed and we were recommended. Then I read the ingredient list. SHOCKED! No meat content indication, which means there is not much meat. Instead loads of grains and grain derivatives, gluten. Cats do not digest grains and can develop many illnesses because of this. Please read some medical works many specialist have now released that tell you how to feed and how not to feed your pets. Avoid this brand!

Good food for my 2 fur babies
I've noticed my cats do eat a lot of this and do seem addicted to it. They go through a lot but seeing as it's always on a great deal I don't mind. I've got a small bag we transfer it into so we can seal it and roll the big bag down. Would be better if they could sort the big bag to seal it.
After reading another review about wheat content this would explain why the cats are more hungry but we feed them wet food too so happy to continue with this biscuit as they'll always eat it, unlike others that they go off of.

Royal Canin indoor Cat dry food
I was recommended to buy this as I have ten cats living exclusively indoors with me. The product is great, all the cats love it, they run upstairs when I go to bed waiting to be given it. The food is nutritious and the cat trays do not smell. The Zooplus price is always very competitive.

2 fussy cats think it's puuuurrrrrrfect.
Was told to try this by the vet as one of my cats kept becoming ill... easier said than done with 2 fussy felines, I thought.
My cats are awful and even refuse meat and fresh fish so I wasn't hopeful they'd take to this... I was wrong.
Both are happily munching away (I put a dish of this along side their usual food and this went first)
I'm also happy to report that neither have been ill since and both look a lot better too (less malting and stinky little trays)
We think it's puuuurrrrrfect.

Four addicts !
This food is the best! ,We have used it for nearly 5 years and our 2 x Ragdolls and 2 British Shorthairs all love it as did our cat who passed away last February aged nearly 18 ! We have tried MANY other dried food over the 20 years of owning cats but they either make them sick or give them tummy upsets .So we now stick to this dry food always .We have 2 puppies too who only like Royal Canin puppy kibbles .Must be something in their recipes and it's made not far away from us in Somerset !

good product bad packaging
Product seems to do what it says, cat's happy to wolf it down and her poo really doesn't smell at all, which is a great because she's produced some real honkers in the past! The only downside is that the package can't be re-sealed as it's made from paper, so difficult to store without the potential for break-ins by the feline. a re-sealable plastic bag would be much much better!

Please read the ingredients you will be shocked!!
I had my kitten on this food to start with.
All was well.. Then I was told about how awful it is for our cats and kittens. If you read the ingredients there isn't really any!! It does not tell you how much meat content there is.. It also is filled with wheat and corn.. Which is not good for cats (cheap for the suppliers )
Lots of cats have got really poorly with this food many that have been on it for years suddenly have got ill.. Apparently they changed the formula a while back which caused a lot of poorly cats..
Many vets will say it is a great food.. Because they know no different they are told my the supplier how great it is and pass that information to us.
Many vets and pet food shops are now becoming aware of this problem.
So I would recommend looking at the ingredients and choosing a good free from wheat and corn and with a high meat content.

This food is like catnip to my cat
My cat has a problem, she's now have to go to anonymous meeting because of her addiction. She is reaaaallly addicted to this food, like it's catnip. Getting nasty and yelling at me even when she still got plenty. Good stuff maybe too good...

Excellent Cat Food
My cat is extremely fussy, so I thought I would try a high quality food like this one, she loves it! Litter box odour has been massively reduced, she has a beautiful soft coat and a lean body. I'm happy this will keep her healthy.

Purrfect!
I have a 3-legged boy who lives indoors. The vet suggested I try a lower calorie dry food to keep his weight down. Very pleased I came across this cat food. He liked it immediatly & the HUGE advantage is the difference in the smell of the the litter tray. Before I could tell the litter tray needing scooping from another room! Now I don't even know he's gone until I go into the bathroom where tray is kept! Very happy & will certainly continue buying it.

Great for reducing litter odour....
This cat food is really great for reducing litter odour, there is virtually no smell at all, compared to a diabolical smell from Whiskas dry!
However, my lovely playful cat turned into a complete maniac, especially straight after eating his meal, which he would polish off within a minute or two, and would immediately want more. It seems there is almost something addictive in it, and he was never satisfied - constantly hungry, where he is not like that with other food. This food made him ridiculously hyperactive for long periods - to the point where we had to shut him out of the lounge until he had worn himself out! Playing with him would make him even worse (and nippy), he would charge around so much everything went flying, and I was worried he could also injure himself!
I have switched him gradually over to Purina One to see if it made a difference, and straight away the hyperactivty began to subside, so it must be this food.

Gave me cats diarrhea!
My 6 cats are usually on royal canin sensible ( although they dont have sentive stomachs...) as my cats are kept indoors, i thought i would try this food. 3 of my cats were fine on it, the other 3 had chronic diarrhea, the smell was disguisting!
I have since taken them off this, and return to the roya canin sensible. I have also read other reviews online about this food with the same results my cats suffered. Be wary of this product.
