All of my cats accept this food with no problem. Even our pickiest cat seems to love it.

We're really positively surprised with this food. Our cats ate it up immediately, which doesn't happen with every dry food. The size of the kibbles is about the same as Orijen, which we've given them now and then. It's really good that it has no grains in it, and the smell is actually quite nice.

I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered this food. One of the few dry foods with an acceptable (low) carbohydrate content. In the analysis of the micronutrients this food is quite similar to Orijen. The ingredients seem a bit simpler, with less "wellness" plant ingredients than Orijen, and with good additions such as inulin, MOS, FOS which the smaller manufacturers tend to leave out because they sound too "chemical". It's really a case of individual preference whether you prefer the ingredients in Purizon or Orijen. The kibbles are relatively small and my cats mostly swallow them whole. I think this actually makes them better for your cat's teeth, because there are less small bits of food stuck on the teeth. My cats seem to love the taste of it, but they're not exactly picky ;)

Both of mine love this dry food. We alternate giving them this food and their normal wet food. It's great that this has no grains in it. Thumbs up from us!

I bought it once, won't buy again. My cat has terrible diarrhoea—the smell from the litter box is unbearable. The cat doesn't want either the dry or the wet food. When I opened the wet food, the contents practically exploded out of the tin. I do not recommend!!

The cats hardly eat it anymore; the old formula was much better. I’ll switch to another/similar product. It’s a shame that only sales matter here now, not the animal. The 2.5kg bag can only be opened with force or scissors. Yet again, a corporation just can’t get enough. Such a shame.

Since it's been in this new packaging, it's completely different. My cat has been eating this for years, but now she barely touches it. It's way too dry, just pure crumbs. This was the only one she used to eat without leaving anything behind, I don't know why they had to ruin it like this.

What can I say, the old recipe was cat food, the new recipe is bulk feed. The cats suddenly don’t like dry food anymore since I started trying to feed them the new “Purizon Original Chicken with Fish”. ☹️

Tolerance and yield are excellent

My cat ate Purizon for many years. Now it's a complete disaster. The cat has diarrhoea. The smell from the litter box is unbearable. I don't recommend it. The product went from quite decent to terrible.

My cat has been eating only this food for over 10 years (apart from wet food), but since the formula changed, she’s less keen on it and, worse still, for the past few days she’s had looser stools with mucus tinged with blood. I haven’t changed anything else in her diet recently, and after reading other reviews I’m sure this food is to blame, specifically this batch, because I opened a new pack a few days ago. I’ll be making a complaint about the remaining 4 packs from this batch. I’d even pay 50 zł for a 400g pack if it was the same product as before.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food keeps getting worse. In the bottom third of the bag, there are only crumbs left. Sadly, my cat has only eaten this food for years and there’s no alternative. Since it keeps getting more expensive, it would be nice to get a bag with consistent quality. Best regards

Well, what can I say? All the recent customer reviews on various online platforms have already mentioned it: With the new formula, Purizon has completely ruined what used to be a top product and lost a large part of its customers because of it. In my opinion, rightly so! My cat hardly ever eats it anymore, and when she does, she often gets diarrhoea or vomits. I never thought I'd ever write this, but: Stay away from Purizon!!!

The Purizon chicken and fish food was hard to get through. It won't become our favourite.

The large bag no longer has a sealing strip, so these don't stay fresh anymore. Apparently, the taste has also changed since my cats don't like it the same way as before.

Excellent quality

My cats usually get on well with this brand, but with this chicken/fish grain-free product, my girls just keep throwing up... I mix them with Royal Canin for sterilised cats and normally don’t have this issue, but ever since I started using these kibbles, they haven’t been digesting well. I really wouldn’t recommend it. And they’re not keen on them either – these are the only ones left at the bottom of the bowl.

Both my house cats used to love this dry food. Now the food looks much darker and the taste must have changed too, because both of them refuse to eat it.

At first, I bought a small pack to try it out, and everything was great – my cat liked it. However, when I ordered the large pack, after about a week my cat’s stool changed: it turned green and was poorly formed. Unfortunately, the food was the cause. As soon as I switched to a different food, my cat’s digestion returned to normal.

I rarely ever leave comments, but this really annoys me. Ever since they changed the recipe of this otherwise much-loved dry food, none of my pets will eat it anymore. Now I’m stuck with my 6.5 kg bag and end up “feeding” the bin every day. Such a shame.

I agree with the other reviews, I also bought it for a few years, now I have to look for a new food, such a shame.
