Disappointed, after feeding this for years something's changed...
This is practically the only stuff my 2 cats ate. The chicken & fish flavour is, or was, their absolute favourite but now they'd starve rather than eat it. The texture has changed, it doesn't look fresh. It's more like when you're near the end of the bag and the kibble looks a bit stale and crumbly. They back away from it like it smells awful too. Luckily they like the fish one at the moment but I need to find another brand incase that one changes too. Won't be easy with these 2 fusspots!

Not the same as usual
I have been buying Purizon for years for my three cats (now four) All of them LOVED it intil my last purchase. Huge bag 6.5 kg none of my cats would eat. They used to love all the flavours. I usually have 2-3 different kibble brands in case something changes in the recipe or the food becomes unavailable. The cats always preferred Purizon and I kept refilling Purizon bowl while others were left almost untouched. Not the last batch.Such a shame!
Bad batch?
I have been buying this food for my cat since Nov ‘19 and he has always loved it. Until this latest batch ordered 2 weeks ago. He won’t go anywhere near it, yet the remnants of the previous bag he will still happily eat. Not sure if a bad batch or there is something different about this batch (lot 20312A7975)

Bloody Diarrhea and Vomiting
Used to buy this food and had switched to Lilly Kitchen. Came back to this but something is different, both cats now have bloody diarrhea and are vomiting it up

I have six cats and finding a food that they all enjoy is hard, but this is one that they do.
It's great quality for the price, and they always eat all of it and always want more!

Fantastic dry food best ever
I own 2 beautiful bsh silvers Luther n Zeus from the moment we opened these packs they went mad for it. Will never buy another brand

Disappointed
On recommendation from other breeders, I bought my first bag of food and the cats loved it and the tummies were OK. I was happy that I found something the little darlings would eat without tummy upsets, so the next time I purchased two bags and it seems I purchased two bags of troubles. They now refuse to eat this food and we get horribly smelly loose tummies. I am at a loss to understand why recipes have to be changed ? I cannot see myself purchasing this food again.

Mine 2 cats use to like this food unfortunately something changes.. I tried other flavors with the same result. They don't won't to eat it.. Shame

Something changes
Our maine coon has being eaten this food for one and a half year, and everything was perfect, but the last bag we ordered gave to the cat an awful diarrhoea. We tried another supplier, but the result was the same. Unfortunately, we have to look for another dry food.
Great food
cats eating this food very well and actually you can see the difference- more muscles , stronger , energetic etc. Will definetely use Purizon as food my puppies.

Not so great
I decided to switch to this after seeing an increasingly large amount of negative reviews on my cat's old food, but this has given the poor boy a lot of diarrhea.

Smaller size kibble not as popular
I have a multi cat household and Purizon was the one food that all of the cats enjoyed. I have noticed that the kibble is now a smaller size than it used to be and since this change two of my cats will no longer eat it and the others don''t enjoy it as much as they used to do.

Excellent Cat Food
This food is at it says on the packet. Highly digestible. I recently switched to another brand and have switched back as my cat became ill as the dry food was indigestible and he refuses to eat wet food or species appropriate. I have increased his water intake and he is doing well.

PURRRRFECT
After trying several different types of cat food for my very picky pixiebob I came across purizon, after reading many reviews I decided to give it a try and my cat has never looked back !!!!! He absolutely loves it, he never got a upset tummy ( I thought he might have due to introducing him to a new food ) his fur is beautiful and shiny, he's got bags of energy (it's like a stampede of elephants upstairs ) and finally he's put on weight, torally PURRRRFECT
Disappointing
I started given this food to my cats 6 weeks ago, the first 2 weeks I mixed with their previous dry food until I completely change it. They have a bit of diarrhoea and it smells terrible! I think I've done the transition smooth enough and any way they don't digest it well. Also their fur is not as soft as it used to be. I'm very disappointed, I though I was given them a better and healthier food but definitely is not the case

My cat adores this
I bought this as grain-free and high meat content. You can tell it has a high meat content due to the smell. It's slightly moister than most other dry foods which unfortunately has made her reluctant to try other brands.
Purizon
My cats love it, one of them won't eat anything else, but I have had to reduce the amount she has because giving her the recommended amount has made her gain weight.

I don't trust it...
I have used it for a while, cats become crazy over it and eat it nervously. They are used to eat various brands of dry food, and raw meat and fish... and even with the raw meat (which they always love) they tend to smell it a bit before eat it... moving their nose around. With this they go crazy... so what's in it? Flavourings? Appetizers? And most of all... how much of it to drive them so crazy?!
I have resorted to mix it with whatever else i want them to eat... but i don't trust it.

Excellent dry food
I am so happy that both my cats like this food as I like to feed them a good diet without any grains or additives that may be detrimental to their health. They never turn their nose up at any flavor of this food so it has become their staple diet and they are both very healthy and bright looking with wonderful coats and bright eyes.

This karma is a real disaster
I bought it once, won't buy again. My cat has terrible diarrhoea—the smell from the litter box is unbearable. The cat doesn't want either the dry or the wet food. When I opened the wet food, the contents practically exploded out of the tin. I do not recommend!!

The 2.5 kg bag can only be opened with scissors or something similar, let alone closed again
The cats hardly eat it anymore; the old formula was much better. I’ll switch to another/similar product. It’s a shame that only sales matter here now, not the animal. The 2.5kg bag can only be opened with force or scissors. Yet again, a corporation just can’t get enough.

Tragedy

Food after the change – my cat eats less willingly, has smelly, loose, bloody stools
My cat has been eating only this food for over 10 years (apart from wet food), but since the formula changed, she’s less keen on it and, worse still, for the past few days she’s had looser stools with mucus tinged with blood. I haven’t changed anything else in her diet recently, and after reading other reviews I’m sure this food is to blame, specifically this batch, because I opened a new pack a few days ago. I’ll be making a complaint about the remaining 4 packs from this batch. I’d even pay 50 zł for a 400g pack if it was the same product as before.

Declining quality
Unfortunately, the quality of the food keeps getting worse. In the bottom third of the bag, there are only crumbs left. Sadly, my cat has only eaten this food for years and there’s no alternative. Since it keeps getting more expensive, it would be nice to get a bag with consistent quality.

New recipe – Only fit for the bin now.

All the recent customer reviews on various online platforms have already mentioned it: With the new formula, Purizon has completely ruined what used to be a top product and lost a large part of its customers because of it. Constant vomiting
My cats usually get on well with this brand, but with this chicken/fish grain-free product, my girls just keep throwing up...
I mix them with Royal Canin for sterilised cats and normally don’t have this issue, but ever since I started using these kibbles, they haven’t been digesting well. I really wouldn’t recommend it. And they’re not keen on them either – these are the only ones left at the bottom of the bowl.

The quality of the ingredients raised questions

Change of formula
I rarely ever leave comments, but this really annoys me. Ever since they changed the recipe of this otherwise much-loved dry food, none of my pets will eat it anymore. Now I’m stuck with my 6.5 kg bag and end up “feeding” the bin every day. Such a shame.
