My cat is very happy

Having tried for months to wean Delilah onto the new recipe foods, which she absolutely rejects, I really hope they don't ruin this one like they have the others. She will agree to eat this, although her favourite for the last 10 years has been the Fish. Even mixing the kibbles in her dish for months, she carefully picks out the ones she likes, sometimes spitting out the New Recipe ones around the dish, and usually just leaving them and constantly pestering me for her usual food. I'm not pleased

I'm feeding my cats with purizon, 9years they love it , but since they change to new receipe my cat doesn't like it anymore, l'm so unhappy, l can't find anything they really like now. Chicken and fish used to be bigger kibble and smell meat, now small dry kibble, My cats used be crazy for that not anymore Please bring the original back, and also higher price low meat percentage now

I opened a bag of these on Monday which I bought at the end of April and since then I have had no end of two cats being ill with vomiting and diarrhoea. I worked out today it is this food when one of the cats dragged me over to the bowl and started spitting them out in front of me. He's refusing to eat them and we have been feeding him these for 3 years now. The cat knows these are making him ill. I have taken them off him and contacted customer services.

Is this a wrong batch or has the quality changed? Cat has been eating happily for years and the last order smelled horrible, not sure what to do/buy now.

My cats have eaten this for two years but have suddenly become sick when eating it. Not sure if the recipe has changed or it’s a bad batch but it’s gone in the bin and I can hopefully get a refund from Zooplus

I have fed my cats Purizon dried cat food since they were kittens and they love it! It is made of wonderful and nutritious ingredients - just read the label. The high protien content is important for me as well as the low cereal content. It has kept my cats healthy, energetic and with beautiful coats. It comes in a variety of flavours too and is good value for money. I just wish you would re-introduce the FIsh flavour. I would highly recommend this high quality product to cat owners.

We have had a stock of the darker kibbles which have always been great. This new pack where the contents are different have made my cat very sick. She has been in stomach pain and ended up at the vet clinic twice. Still not eating properly after vomitting. I am going back to Orijen. Shame, as Purizon used to be good.

Hi, I've been buying this product for over a year but this sack was different. The colour was darker and the cats aren't keen to eat ot. All three have been sick. Has the recipe changed? SB

So disappointed with this product, as the kibble is the 3rd of the size of the trial packs that I bought and my cats don't seem to like the smell. I bought a 6.5kg bag and the usual zipper wasn't there and no pre-sealed section - so the kibble will go off... Why did they change this product, as this was so good !!! Zooplus were great and totally understood the issues.

I'm so relieved to see other people saying about the recipe change! The packets have changed and my cat who loved this now won't touch it and I'm not sure what to give him now instead!

What has happened!? Biscuits half the thickness. Dry and completely different colour. Made my cat unwell. He had gone from loving his food to just sitting in front of them. What do these companies think it is acceptable to just change a recipe? Very disappointed

Our cats loved this and have happily eaten it for years, but no more…the packet looks different - no more useful zip tie closing, the food smells pretty bad and the kibble is smaller in size. Our two piggy boy cats will generally still eat some of it, but our two fussier ladies will not touch it, so frustrating as this was so good for so long.

We’ve used this brand for years and it was the only food my furbaby would eat but in our last order I noticed they’ve changed the recipe. They are lighter in colour and smaller kibble. My boy did eat these to begin with but after a few days he has had explosive diarrhoea. He was obviously clever enough to realise they upset his tummy so stopped eating them. Never had a problem before. Very annoying!!!! Zooplus were fantastic in answering my queries and gave me a refund.

I've just required two new cats, their previous owner fed them this cat food. They're very healthy and enjoy this cat food. I'd ordered on Amazon first but cancelled that order as it was £8.00 cheaper on this site. This is the site the previous owner uses for all her cats.

All three of mine liked this. Bit more expensive than my usual one, but will buy when on offer.

It used to be our favourite dry food. Now it’s not being eaten anymore. What happened? Such a shame…

The recipes have changed way too much. The quality is much lower than it used to be, but the price is still just as high. The worst part is that since these changes, my 15 cats were throwing up EVERY DAY. Ever since I stopped using this brand, no more vomiting... It's a shame, I’d been loyal since 2017 but that’s it, I’m done.

My cats have loved this food for 8 years, but now they won’t eat it anymore. Unfortunately, I have to throw the pouch away and Purizon has lost a long-standing customer, which is really a shame...

I agree with the other reviews, I ordered my cat's kibble as usual (it's been 5 years now) and we were surprised by their appearance and smell. My cat has never had digestive issues before, but now he has diarrhoea and his stools have a very strong odour. I'm extremely disappointed and urgently looking for a new brand for my cat 🤬. And on top of that, there's no mention on the packaging that the recipe has changed. I don't think that's right.

Both of mine always used to really like it. Now only one of them does, and he gets diarrhoea from it. The pellets look different and the large pack is no longer resealable. Such a shame.

I don't know what Purizon has changed in their recipe. But recently, both my cats have started getting diarrhoea and are vomiting!... They're now getting a different dry food and everything is back to normal!

Thank you for listening to your customers and bringing back the zip closure on the larger packaging, so the bag of kibble can be properly closed! Still the best food for cats.

Over time, I’ve tried many premium brands, but in the end, I stuck with Purizon and I can honestly say it was a truly inspired choice! Even though my cats used to love wet food, now they eat these kibbles with amazing appetite and pleasure! 🐾 A big plus, compared to other kibbles I’ve tried, is their texture: they crumble very easily and aren’t overly hard. I have a fussier cat when it comes to hard kibbles, which she often refused, but she absolutely loves these ones.

I've been loyal to these kibbles for a good 4-5 years. It took me a really long time to post this—I didn't believe it at first, but after reading other reviews, it's clear my cat isn't the only one with issues! Since they changed the recipe and the packaging (which no longer reseals): - Vomiting up the kibbles - Turns his nose up at eating them - Takes them in his mouth then spits them out without chewing Unfortunately, I'll have to switch to a different brand of kibble. I can only agree with the negative reviews. My tomcat won't eat it anymore either. It also smells really strong, apparently the recipe has been changed. Sorry, but we're out.

In my opinion, we should organise some kind of collective protest against what has happened to this cat food. I bought 6.5kg of food and my cat got diarrhoea from it, I tried everything. Even with small amounts, he gets the runs. This food used to be great, what’s going on now? They shouldn’t be selling it at all.

My kitty used to love this food so much that I even used it as treats. After the last purchase, though, she won’t touch it anymore—after enjoying about 3 crunchy pillows, she just walked away and kept her distance. What happened to this food? I won’t be buying it again and unfortunately will have to throw away the rest.

I can relate to all the recent negative reviews. Overnight, my cats started turning their noses up at these kibbles, even though they've loved them for 6 years. Now they vomit regularly and their stools smell really bad. It's such a shame...

My cat loves these Purizon kibbles, but I'm disappointed that there's no longer a zip closure for proper storage of the product.

All our cats come running from everywhere as soon as they hear the bag being opened. They gobble it up, munch and eat as if they never get fed. 😂 They simply can't get enough of it, but we limit it to once or twice a day, only in the evening after we've played with them and just before bedtime.

The kibbles are darker, moist, and a bit smaller. 10 cats are gobbling them up like crazy. In one container, there are some from a pack bought a few days ago, and next to them, the unfortunate ones after the awful changes. I have to top up the first ones several times a day, the second ones remain untouched. The most important thing is that their favourite Purizon is back. Now I’m just waiting for the return of the fish and lamb flavours. Supposedly the same packaging, but the ingredients list on the Zooplus website is still that terrible one. The Purizon horror for cats and their owners is finally coming to an end 😄

People, cats! The return of the old, good and beloved Purizon dry food recipe! The zip bag is back again! Pay attention to which variant you’re ordering! My kitties like both versions, but they’ve been eagerly waiting for their favourite one to come back! The old version is the one with 70% animal ingredients (the new one has 65%). Thank you!!
