This batch is bad
I opened a bag of these on Monday which I bought at the end of April and since then I have had no end of two cats being ill with vomiting and diarrhoea. I worked out today it is this food when one of the cats dragged me over to the bowl and started spitting them out in front of me. He's refusing to eat them and we have been feeding him these for 3 years now. The cat knows these are making him ill. I have taken them off him and contacted customer services.

Is this a wrong batch or has the quality changed? Cat has been eating happily for years and the last order smelled horrible, not sure what to do/buy now.

It made my cats sick
My cats have eaten this for two years but have suddenly become sick when eating it. Not sure if the recipe has changed or it’s a bad batch but it’s gone in the bin and I can hopefully get a refund from Zooplus

The best dried cat food ever!
I have fed my cats Purizon dried cat food since they were kittens and they love it!
It is made of wonderful and nutritious ingredients - just read the label.
The high protien content is important for me as well as the low cereal content.
It has kept my cats healthy, energetic and with beautiful coats.
It comes in a variety of flavours too and is good value for money.
I just wish you would re-introduce the FIsh flavour.
I would highly recommend this high quality product to cat owners.

Cat is sick
We have had a stock of the darker kibbles which have always been great. This new pack where the contents are different have made my cat very sick. She has been in stomach pain and ended up at the vet clinic twice. Still not eating properly after vomitting. I am going back to Orijen. Shame, as Purizon used to be good.

Has there been a change…
…I like the high protein content and both my cats enjoyed all flavours. However, one of my cats is now vomiting after eating the chicken with fish.

Different colour
Hi, I've been buying this product for over a year but this sack was different. The colour was darker and the cats aren't keen to eat ot. All three have been sick. Has the recipe changed?

Change in recipe and packaging :(
So disappointed with this product, as the kibble is the 3rd of the size of the trial packs that I bought and my cats don't seem to like the smell. I bought a 6.5kg bag and the usual zipper wasn't there and no pre-sealed section - so the kibble will go off...
Why did they change this product, as this was so good !!! Zooplus were great and totally understood the issues.

Recipe change
I'm so relieved to see other people saying about the recipe change! The packets have changed and my cat who loved this now won't touch it and I'm not sure what to give him now instead!

What has happened!? Biscuits half the thickness. Dry and completely different colour. Made my cat unwell. He had gone from loving his food to just sitting in front of them. What do these companies think it is acceptable to just change a recipe? Very disappointed
Was great, but different recipe/smell/packet??
Our cats loved this and have happily eaten it for years, but no more…the packet looks different - no more useful zip tie closing, the food smells pretty bad and the kibble is smaller in size. Our two piggy boy cats will generally still eat some of it, but our two fussier ladies will not touch it, so frustrating as this was so good for so long.
Changed Recipe?
We’ve used this brand for years and it was the only food my furbaby would eat but in our last order I noticed they’ve changed the recipe. They are lighter in colour and smaller kibble. My boy did eat these to begin with but after a few days he has had explosive diarrhoea. He was obviously clever enough to realise they upset his tummy so stopped eating them. Never had a problem before. Very annoying!!!! Zooplus were fantastic in answering my queries and gave me a refund.

Great cat food
I've just required two new cats, their previous owner fed them this cat food. They're very healthy and enjoy this cat food. I'd ordered on Amazon first but cancelled that order as it was £8.00 cheaper on this site. This is the site the previous owner uses for all her cats.

My cat goes crazy for these
I usually feed wet food to my fussy cat but got these free with points. She now turns down one wet meal a day which now has to be these, if you're a cat owner you know they get what they demand

Cats love this
I started buying Purizon for my cats when Applaws were having supply issues. The cats absolutely love this stuff to the point where they now refuse to eat Applaws (fussy things!).

Purizon dry cat 400g
My cat lives off this food alongside some wet food too. The food is high quality and she likes all the flavours apart from wild boar. However I am annoyed regularly That Zooplus let this food go out of stock for over a month and then you cannot replenish her food bags. I have bought Acana and Orijen too as back ups when Zooplus mess up. The Purizon is available in the European Zooplus site but the U.K. site lets it sit out of stock for weeks.
Makes me very annoyed

Tragedy
My cat ate Purizon for many years. Now it's a complete disaster. The cat has diarrhoea. The smell from the litter box is unbearable. I don't recommend it. The product went from quite decent to terrible.

Food after the change – my cat eats less willingly, has smelly, loose, bloody stools
My cat has been eating only this food for over 10 years (apart from wet food), but since the formula changed, she’s less keen on it and, worse still, for the past few days she’s had looser stools with mucus tinged with blood. I haven’t changed anything else in her diet recently, and after reading other reviews I’m sure this food is to blame, specifically this batch, because I opened a new pack a few days ago. I’ll be making a complaint about the remaining 4 packs from this batch. I’d even pay 50 zł for a 400g pack if it was the same product as before.

Declining quality
Unfortunately, the quality of the food keeps getting worse. In the bottom third of the bag, there are only crumbs left. Sadly, my cat has only eaten this food for years and there’s no alternative. Since it keeps getting more expensive, it would be nice to get a bag with consistent quality.

New recipe – Only fit for the bin now.
Well, what can I say? All the recent customer reviews on various online platforms have already mentioned it: With the new formula, Purizon has completely ruined what used to be a top product and lost a large part of its customers because of it. In my opinion, rightly so! My cat hardly ever eats it anymore, and when she does, she often gets diarrhoea or vomits. I never thought I'd ever write this, but: Stay away from Purizon!!!

Constant vomiting
My cats usually get on well with this brand, but with this chicken/fish grain-free product, my girls just keep throwing up...
I mix them with Royal Canin for sterilised cats and normally don’t have this issue, but ever since I started using these kibbles, they haven’t been digesting well. I really wouldn’t recommend it. And they’re not keen on them either – these are the only ones left at the bottom of the bowl.

The quality of the ingredients raised questions

Change of formula
I rarely ever leave comments, but this really annoys me. Ever since they changed the recipe of this otherwise much-loved dry food, none of my pets will eat it anymore. Now I’m stuck with my 6.5 kg bag and end up “feeding” the bin every day. Such a shame.
