Hill's Prescription Diet Feline Economy Packs

Our cats love these kibbles and no longer have any problems with urinary crystals thanks to the special food.

It's a shame that this only comes in one flavour of its kind.

I recommend this product, it's just a shame the price keeps going up.

One of my Maine Coons has very sensitive intestines, with a history of both extremes: from constipation to diarrhoea and back again. In our experience, Hill's Biome works well in cases of diarrhoea, but if there's constipation, it's better to go for Royal Canin Fibre. Feeding just one type of food always caused problems for us, so now we give a mix of both and that's working well for now.

Cat eats it with gusto, owner also satisfied.

A couple of weeks ago, my 15-year-old cat was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. We got a bit scared and bought the y/d tins. For me, the downside is that they only come in packs of 12, not smaller, and they're not mousse-type. For my cat, they're no good. He smells it and walks away. I've already gone through a can and a half and he hasn't eaten any of it. Luckily, the food lasts if he likes it. So I hope that with this food, by the end of the month his T4 will have gone down and he won't need medication. I'll donate the tins to a shelter, because they're just not for him.

For some reason I don't know, sometimes the grain is harder and it rejects it right away. In the last order it was softer and it worked better.

Miți was sick, she ate Hill’s Urinary, but she didn’t really like it, she prefers and loves Natural Greatness - urinary struvite.

For my cat who has urinary crystals... it's fine... But it is quite monotonous and expensive. She’s not allowed or doesn’t want any other dry food. So now and then I give her small pieces of chicken breast or a few tiny bits of cheese, but only as a treat.

I’d been using the Royal Canin range for sterilised cats for almost a year. However, I gradually noticed that Pya was having more and more trouble going to the toilet. After talking to her vet, we tried Laxatone, which really helped her. We also decided to switch her kibble to help with her digestion. So far, the new kibble seems to suit her (her stools look much better). I recommend it.

Very good kibble, but a €10 increase in a year really stings, and there are always promotions on the Hills brand but never on these ones—false advertising.

I've been buying this cat food for quite a while now, as recommended by the vet.

My cat really likes them, maybe a bit too much because he’s put on a lot of weight since he started eating them. My other kitty, who doesn’t have any urinary problems and wasn’t particularly greedy before, doesn’t want her old kibble anymore—even though she used to like it—and now insists on having these ones instead. So my question is: could there be too many flavour enhancers in these kibbles? I’m worried they might gain too much weight...
