My two come running.....
I’ve been feeding two feral kittens (since their mother brought them to me,) on applaws kitten food. They are doing really well on this, lovely shine to their coats. Wouldn’t feed anything else now!
It loses a star because it’s not british chicken, which is a disappointment.

Excellent
My kittens who are now between 6-7 months old love this kibble. I have never thrown any away. Love getting the grain free stuff. I want to try and do the best for my boys.

Too good?
We adopted a kitten that started being sick as soon as he came home, at 10 weeks old. So we thought to try natural grain-free food to see if it was an intolerance to an ingredient that was causing the sickness. We swapped IAMS kitten for this and oh my days, the kittens LOVE it. And I say is it 'too good' because I used to leave a bowl of dry food out all day so if they were peckish they could dip in but this is almost all gone straight away!

Kitten loves it!
I got this for my 5 month old Russian Blue as I was feeding her Royal Canin, only found out recently that RC is full of rubbish and more expensive than Applaws!
I’ve only tried her on it for the day and I’ve tried to slowly wean her onto it by mixing it in with her old food, the only problem is that she loves it so much she leaves the RC kibbles in the bowl. So I guess we’re going to experience a messy litter tray! I’m glad she likes it though as it’s so much better for her than RC.

Great Food For Ragdoll Kittens
I have two ragdoll boys, one of which I've previously had awful tummy problems with. This has been especially good for him, and he's absolutely thrived on it. He's now a whopping 7 kg! Lovely soft shiny fur, bright eyed and no more bad tummies.
Both my boys love this, and just moving on to the adult after this bag has finished.

Kitten goes mad for it
My British shorthair kitten LOVES this food. She runs to her food bowl when she hears the bag coming out and gobbles it down all in one go. I’m happy that she enjoys this food as I know it’s good for her in between her 2 wet meals.

Both kittens love this
Great food. Both kittens enjoy this. It’s all they get besides some Thrive treats and lots of water. Normal healthy poos and very healthy strong kittens.

Well liked and well tolerated
Our kitten has had a few tummy issues and is sensitive to certain veg (pea protein) for sure.
He does like biscuits a lot but we only give them occasionally, his diet is 90% wet. In that context we started him slowly with the Applaws dry food (eg a few kibbles one day, a few more the next) and he hasn’t had any upset on it. As with any food it is important to do it gradually - kittens are trying so many things for the first time!
He loves the flavour and it’s made his fur super shiny!!

Great quality!
My kittens love this dry food and have bitten into the bag twice now whilst I wasn't looking... Cheeky things, at least I know they love it too! The price is great on zooplus As well compared to pets at home.

Our Bengals love it
We switched to his very high meat content dry food from Royal Canin, this food suits all our Bengals. It did take a good while to move them onto such a high quality food but now they have been established on it for longer than 4 weeks, they eat less and look better. Their coat is shiny. We do rehydrate the kibble and also add wet food into their diet.

To rich for sensitive tummys!
Big bag witch is lovely for one of my cats but it upset my other cats belly, he gets the runs quite often and I was told to give this a try because of the low grain and wheat content but it just made him worse, tryed some other food witch has sorted the problem, turns out the ingredients were just to rich for him to digest!!

Lovely 80% meat- kitten drinks a lot more on this food.
After researching about grain free kitten food we decided to give this a go, our kitten likes it and comes running for his food. Although we have noticed that he seems to be drinking a lot more on this food rather than the food that the vet suggested which he also loves too.
Will be trying a few more different grain free foods once this 2kg bag is oven and check the ingredients to see if it has a high salt amount.
Our kitten isn't a fan of wet meat, apart from the Tuna wet tins.

3 Happy Kittens
Really pleased with this product, my kittens love it, no upset tummies for my 3.
Glad I tried them on it even though the cost is higher than some kitten food well worth the extra.

Kittens won't touch it
To my great disappointment, as I'd been really keen on the high meat content of this dry food, my kittens won't touch it. It's a huge surprise as they've eaten everything else we put in front of them, which has been many, many different types of dry and wet food!

Upset tummies
Gave both of my kittens awful, smelly diarrhoea. Unfortunate, as I was pleased to try this as it had such a high meat content. Also a waste of money as I bought a large bag. I'd previously bought the tester sized pack, which did not upset their tummies. So perhaps a bad batch the second time round.

Too rich
My 14 week old was on the cheap brands at the cattery and I thought I'd slowly introduce this as it has a good reputation. Big mistake she has had the runs for days and looks visibly thinner. Waste of money for me.

Hunger strike
Undoubtedly a good quality food but, both cats refuse to touch it - preferring to go on hunger strike. Now have a 7.5K bag of expensive cat food going to waste. It has a very, very strong smell which may be why my two, usually unfussy moggies are turning their noses up at it.
