This is the only dry food that doesn't give my cat runny stools. I have tried many different dry foods and he will happily eat them all but this is the only one that he is solid on. Possibly due to the fact that this food has no wheat or grains in it as the only other food he was solid on was the cheapest of the cheap, supermarket tinned rubbish.

Additive free is great for the more sensitive cat and I always prefer to feed them high quality food. Tinned Applaws is very good and this is a complete food so even better. Plus, they both absolutely love it!

Suddenly the price doubled and my cat stopped eating this food???

My tomcat had to vomit twice after eating the treats.

My cat likes them, they have a good composition for the price.

We give Applaws kibbles to our three tomcats and we're very satisfied—they suit them well, even with their allergies.

My cat was on this food for over 8 years. Unfortunately, the last bag we ordered was the last one from this company. The manufacturer changed both the size of the kibble (they're now really tiny, like for kittens) and the ingredients. A cat who ate this food for over 8 years now can't tolerate it at all after the changes. It gives him very severe diarrhoea. I ruled out other causes with numerous tests. After switching to a different food, everything started to return to normal. So that's the end of me buying Applaws food.

The size has changed, the cats don’t eat it anymore

They weren’t to their liking, probably because they’re made only with meat meal, not fresh or dehydrated. They ate 2-3 just because they were hungry. The kibbles are small, so they’re not crunchy. At least they’re not crumbly.

Applaws Adult Chicken & Salmon - 7.5 kg Kibble shrunk – but why? Up until now, I’ve happily been feeding this supposedly good food to my 7-year-old lady cat, and she’s always enjoyed it. However, with my latest order, I noticed that the kibble size has gone from about 1cm in diameter to half that (0.5cm), plus the colour is darker and the smell has changed too. I’ll be switching to a different food!

The recipe and size were changed without any notice! My two loved it before and now they only eat it if they have to 😞 Great, and I even bought the extra 7.5 kg bag! I'm really angry 😡

Unfortunately, it seems that both the recipe and the size have changed. Sadly, there was no notice about this. The product no longer matches the original size and shape.

My cats loved this food, but without any notice the pieces are now only half the size and the girls don’t want it anymore. So now we have to look for an alternative. Changing cat food rarely makes sense.

My two sterilised indoor cats have been on this food their whole lives. They have unlimited access to it and have always been the perfect weight, with shiny coats and good digestive health. I can't recommend it enough!!

Here are two cats who used to love this food... So I bought another 7.5 kg bag, but apparently the kibble has been changed and now they absolutely refuse to eat it. And one of them will eat anything, so that really says something.

My cat is losing weight completely because the size of the kibble has changed again. Now he has to eat a lot more of the same food just to maintain his weight. Such a shame, because it used to be a great kibble, but thanks to shrinkflation it’s become nonsense.
