Nothing for wild cats
Unfortunately, my tomcat is very wild, and the wand didn’t even last two play sessions before breaking. The feather toy detached from the stick, and the feathers were already flying around beforehand. Such a shame.

Absolutely love it!
My cats love this toy. I've bought it before. However, yesterday Chloe chewed on the front feathers. This morning, I found the pieces she had eaten along with vomit on the floor. Since the pieces have sharp edges, I consider the toy dangerous. That's why I've deducted 2 stars.

Gameplay Fun
Our two cats love playing with these feather wands. However, they’re not as sturdy as their price might suggest. The wire piece between the feathers and the stick is only loosely attached to the stick, so they fall apart quickly. Glue does help, but at this price, it really shouldn’t be necessary.
Additionally, the long feathers are a bit too sharp-edged. The cats could injure their gums with them.

Fun but short-lived
I ordered this feather wand as an alternative to the very cheap one here on Zooplus, hoping it would last longer – unfortunately, it broke after just a few days, and within minutes it had already lost some feathers. It definitely gets the cats excited to play, and I had a lot of fun with it too. However, I’ll stick to the cheaper model.

Good
Chloe absolutely adores them, and I’d give 5 stars for that, but she plucked the feathers straight away, and I had the tiny bits scattered everywhere, even stuck in her claws. And she always tries to eat the straw. The feathers really don’t last long, but I’ll still buy her one or two more, just in case the next one breaks straight away again.

Cat loves it so much it broke
One of the cats goes absolutely nuts with this toy. Straight out of the box, he started playing with it (the other one has less interest in it). Within about an hour of playing, the small surrounding feathers started breaking loose, and it has also lost a few of the larger quill feathers. The floppy feather end of the wand has also broken loose from the hard plastic wand end. I am disappointed with how quickly the whole thing fell apart, but the cat still loves it.

Absolute favourite toy
For my cat, who loves feathers, this is the best toy the world has ever seen. You don’t need to call her or rustle treats; just moving the wand is enough, and she comes running straight away.
Unfortunately, there are two "weak points":
1. The feather bundle, which is glued into a plastic cap, falls out.
2. The plastic piece that connects the feather bundle to the stick simply comes loose from the holder on the stick.
Such a shame! I’d happily pay €10 more if it were more durable!

Great toy, but unfortunately it doesn't last long.
My cats love the toy and go absolutely crazy for it. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last long – the feather tuft comes loose from the rubber cap quite quickly. Perhaps the manufacturer should reconsider the type of adhesive used. It’s really a shame for the cat when, after just 5 minutes, the feather tuft is lying on the floor and they’re left chewing on the rubber cap instead. For my wallet, it’s frustrating – £6 is really too much for such a short lifespan. Not suitable for cats that like to play rough.

This thing is absolutely brilliant!
I have never experienced anything like this before. My cat went completely crazy when I unpacked the Feather Dancer. It's not easy to tire out my energetic Somali, but this thing manages it.
Big plus points:
1. It encourages crazy play.
2. She even plays with it on her own.
3. Unlike the Leather Dancer, you can leave the toy unattended because there's no risk of strangulation.
Now for the major downside:
The thing was practically destroyed after 2 hours. I left her alone with it for an hour, and when I came back to the living room, I was met with a horrifying sight – the floor was covered in red feathers. It almost looked like a bloodbath.
On top of that, she cries and searches everywhere for the toy as if it were her baby – unbelievable!!!
So, if you're willing to spend €5.99 for relatively short-lived fun, I wholeheartedly recommend this toy. I'm now going to buy three more of them but will limit playtime to try and extend their lifespan.

Interesting toy
Since I bought this toy, my cat hasn’t been interested in her other toys anymore, which I don’t think is great. She used to be crazy about the Cat Dancer, and now she just ignores it. It’s all about the feather dancer now :(
It must smell interesting, as she noticed it straight away in the shipping box.

Not great
The only good part about this is the bendy end. The feathers came out in the box they were delivered in and the item itself was very skimpy. The handle is a clear plastic , not worth the money and no good for large active breeds.

Favourite toy
Our young cat loves this toy. She carries it around like a dog and constantly asks us to play with her using it. She even takes it to bed and everywhere else, hardly ever letting it out of her sight. The toy is already thoroughly loved. We’ve ordered a second one as a backup. Unfortunately, it arrived in a different colour. We also noticed a rather strong smell of the feathers, reminiscent of formaldehyde. We’re not sure how cat toys are tested, and we don’t want our cat to be harmed, especially since she carries the toy around in her mouth all the time. For now, we’ve put the new "stick" away and only use it under supervision. Due to the strong smell and the associated concerns, we’re deducting two points. For the fun factor, though, it’s a full five points!

The big hit that unfortunately broke straight away
For two days straight, one of our cats spent every waking minute chasing this wand – the toy was an absolute hit, and I would have loved to give my little one many more hours of fun with it if it had lasted longer. Unfortunately, after two days, the entire feather part fell off. Admittedly, the cat was extremely rough with it, but it is a cat toy, after all. I didn’t expect the wand to last forever, but our cheap homemade creations from leftover materials lasted longer (though they weren’t half as popular).
Such a shame.

Hmm... that's debatable...
When I ordered this toy for the first time, my two tomcats went absolutely wild. One of them even went so crazy that he dashed around the flat like mad and wouldn’t let go of the toy at all. When I hid the toy later on because otherwise he wouldn’t have calmed down at night, he got sulky and meowed non-stop :) Well... since the first one seemed relatively sturdy and was constantly monopolised by one of the cats, I went ahead and ordered three more so the other one wouldn’t have to just watch and we’d have some spares. Then the second delivery arrived: the dancers looked completely different this time (coloured red and green), and after less than a day, I had to throw the first one away because the feathers had come loose from the holder – and that kept happening day after day. Now I’m totally disappointed with the toy and the current price!!! At €8, you really have to wonder if it’s worth it for this kind of quality?! But as far as the cats’ playfulness is concerned – absolutely: THUMBS UP.

Great toy, but unfortunately it got torn up quickly.
My two 7-month-old tomcats went absolutely wild. They were literally flying through the flat, always chasing after the wand, so fast that sometimes you couldn’t even react in time. Unfortunately, this super wand only lasted one day... The front part of the wand isn’t properly "secure," so it can come loose if the cat pulls on it. One of my two wouldn’t let go of this front piece anymore; he even growled when I tried to take it away from him. The straw-like threads were then pulled out along with the feathers. Such a shame. For me, the purchase wasn’t really worth it. The wand might be more suitable for older cats who aren’t quite as boisterous.

Great toy, but the price...
My two are absolutely crazy about it. As soon as I pick up the wand, they’re ready and waiting. However, the wand fell apart into two pieces after just the fourth play session. A few weeks later, it doesn’t have a single feather left. For £7.99, I would have expected a bit more durability.

It's alright...
The fishing rod isn't bad in principle, but my European battle cat managed to strip quite a few feathers off it after just about 5 minutes of play. Let's see how long the rest will last! ;-)

Not so good for small cats
Our two little tomcats are really scared of the wand toy. They hiss at it and run away instead of "attacking" it. Only when the wand is lying on the floor do they dare to approach it. So, it's probably not the best choice for small cats. However, the two older cats at the in-laws absolutely love playing with it and go wild trying to catch the wand again.

Not very sturdy
Even my chubby one went wild with the Feather Dancer and moved her bulk wherever I threw it :-) The excitement wore off a bit after a while, but it still managed to grab her attention every now and then.
Unfortunately, the feather part came loose from the rod in less than a month.
For the price, I wouldn’t buy it again.

Good, but doesn't last long!
Although my tomcat isn't very playful due to his age, he gets quite enthusiastic about this wand toy – but only when I drag the feathers across the floor, not when I wave it around in the air. Despite not playing with it very often, the wand has already lost quite a few feathers within a week (literally, in the truest sense of the word). The feathers themselves are still intact; they just come loose from their attachment at the head of the wand. That could definitely be improved!!
