lasted about 40 mins before the motor burned out. the on/off button is really badly design, could have easily fitted a sunken switch rather than the disc that is difficult to twist. works great on flooring, albeit noisy, the elastic just gets tangled up when the ball is moving. good idea, badly executed

Ok so i unboxed my zooplus parcel with anticipation… I can’t get the ball to open at all so it’s a dead duck … epic fail Trixie

If you don't have a huge room with hard floor, then this is useless. It barely moves on carpet. I tried to make it work by putting it in a sock/old tight/wrapping a rubber band around it to help it move, nothing worked. The motor is just not powerful enough on the carpet. And it's quite loud on the wooden floor. Both my cats were interested, even though one is a huge coward. I can tell that it can scare some cats. The toy is a great idea but the design is very poor.

Agree with everyone else, the toy doesn't work as advertised. It doesnt roll around to chase it just kind of jiggles on the spot. My cat would like it if it actually moved.

Bought for my cats for Xmas and it just makes loads of noise and doesn't move about very disappointed

My 2 kittens love mice so I thought they’d like this toy. I couldn’t be more wrong - it is so noisy and erratic that they are scared of it. They are not shrinking violets when it comes to playing either. The ball is quite heavy and when it lurches forward it makes them run away - not a good purchase at all.

I was looking forward to receiving this, but as yet, I cannot fathom out where or how to insert the battery. It is completely beyond me and I am not a stupid person. Very irritating,

This is such a waste of money. Got this for my cat and first of all the feather just tangles up so ends up trapped under the ball so the pet can’t get to it, and second it makes such a noise that whenever they get close to it it scares them off, and my cat normally isn’t bothered by noises like this, so don’t waste your money!

Read the reviews and bought this anyway as my cat is the cockiest, most confident cat I've ever met. He was super into this toy before I turned it on. On carpet it barely does anything, on hard floors it is SO. LOUD. He could only watch from afar and jump out of the way if it came towards him. Bonus though is it never got stuck under the sofa like I expected it would, always managed to get out again. Second bonus - now I've turned it off, cat is all over it. Confidence has resumed.

This toy lasted all of 5 minutes and no longer worked. A complete waste of money. Even for the 5 minutes it did work it was useless. The string with the mouse attached gets all tied up and the cats are no longer interested. Save your money buy something else

This toy arrived today & I put fresh batteries in expecting it to go flying around the floor! Basically it doesn't work on carpeted floors which is not mentioned in the description! It just judders & doesn't move! Don't know about the cat, but I was not impressed!

This moves too slowly, when it comes towards my 5month old kitten he runs off, it doesnt really provide any exercise because it moves slowly, it startles the cat and it frequently hits a surface and then just rotates on the spot. Its noisy and the Ball on it is too big for a cat to enjoy it, bat it about. Waste of money, the design is flawed

Bought this and have to admit thought it was a fab idea. However my cats are bold but just looked at the noisy thing with some curiosity and every time they pawed it it seemed to head towards a skirting board and just stayed there. The major problem was they kept chewing the cord until they separated the toy and vibrating ball. I gave up after repeatedly tying to tie the ever shortening ends of cord, gave them the mouse which they loved and threw the rest away!
