Good, but breaks under overload
I've been using this scoop for the big chunks (I use clumping litter from Extreme Classic) for over 7 years now. For the finer stuff, I have a second scoop with smaller holes. I think it's great... does exactly what it's supposed to. I'm now on scoop number 4 though ;)... sometimes the handle has broken off, other times just a small part. But since I see it as a penny item, that's totally fine.

Great for coarse natural bedding.
Very sturdy, allows quick and efficient cleaning of the toilet when using coarse litter.

Huge, but quick because of it
Yes, the scoop is big. Really big!
But I don’t understand the complaints from other reviewers here.
I clean the jumbo litter box with it in no time. I also find it sturdily built. I have a smaller scoop too, but I find it noticeably thinner and more brittle in terms of the plastic.
I use it with the eco wood fibre clumping litter and think it’s super easy.

Great for plant bedding
I use this scoop for Cat's Best Öko Plus and Greenwoods cat litter. For me, it's the best scoop for these plant-based litters, where the clumps often don't hold together very well and can sometimes be quite large. With a conventional scoop, I always found sifting very tiring because the holes are usually very small, making it difficult to separate the clean litter from the clumps. I now have three Catit scoops and use them for each of my litter boxes.

Great size BUT needs to be stronger...
I have BIG litter trays (biggest is a repurposed dog crate!) and my cats like their litter deep. It can be very time consuming sifting through all that litter to remove clumps. When I first got this scoop I loved the time it saved, sifting so much more per scoop. Fantastic! BUT after several months it broke. I thought 'well it's been used a lot' so I didn't mind and bought another. But the 2nd one broke within weeks, and cut my hand in two places! Great size but needs stronger handle please!!

Shovel with pros and cons
If you want to clean the litter tray quickly and effortlessly, this scoop is ideal. So, I really can't understand why so many people complain about it. Sure, the scoop is quite bulky, but I gave it a chance back then and ended up being absolutely thrilled.
The only drawback that needs fixing is that the narrow section between the scoop head and the handle tends to break if you're not careful with it. That's why I deducted one star. Otherwise, I can only recommend this scoop!

Unfortunately, a bit too big.
Great scoop, good grip, very sturdy, large holes suitable for the eco litter... but... way too big, at least two sizes smaller would make the job easier. That's why I'm deducting points.

Far too big!
The scoop is huge and far too big even for a jumbo litter box. On top of that, it's made of hard, clattering plastic. Because of its size, you end up breaking the clumps of litter rather than removing them properly. You basically end up with almost the entire litter on the scoop. The cheap "normal" scoop is much better. I threw it away straight away because I didn’t feel like waiting any longer for a response from zooplus or dealing with the hassle of a return. Such a shame!

Giant shovel
Has anyone actually ever cleaned a cat litter tray with this monster scoop??? It's way too big and therefore very awkward to handle. Unfortunately, I ordered it using my points balance. I would never have bought it in a shop.

Huge and not helpful
I brought this before the other reviews on here but it's so big and the holes are massive that I only used it once with my fine clumping litter before going back to my fine scoop one.
Perhaps it would be ok with Catsan original if you use that.

Absolutely brilliant
With this scoop, you only need to go through the litter box about twice, and you've got everything collected – simply brilliant. Thanks to the size of the scoop and the large holes, it’s super easy and quick. Absolutely recommend it!!!!!

Cumbersome, not particularly suitable for small hands.
Yes, it scoops out the clumps of litter from the cat litter tray, even very fine litter that clumps strongly can be removed with it. However, the scoop is extremely unwieldy, as it’s too bulky for women’s hands. The handle alone is too thick, and for hands struggling with arthritis, it’s particularly uncomfortable. It’s such a shame that the *Litter-Lifter Original* is no longer available here. I was happy to pay €6.00 for it – a fantastic product, but now it’s no longer in the range.

Great
I've tried many scoops and was constantly annoyed because they were too small, the hole size was rarely ideal, and when it was, they broke after a short time of use 😣. This one is perfect. It feels good in the hand, only the usable stuff falls through. Very sturdy, you can easily plough through the litter box. Nice size, so it holds a decent amount. Nothing creaks. I've had cats for 30 years, but this scoop is the best I've found in all those years.

The handle broke after a couple of months. It was good before that though just not very strong

Good shovel with one drawback
I really enjoy using this scoop. It’s sturdy and easy to handle. I’ve had litter scoops before that just broke, but this one has been a reliable tool for me. It’s perfect for coarse litter, as the usable litter simply falls through the holes. However, since I use very fine litter, I can only use this scoop for the coarser bits. I have a smaller scoop to catch the finer stuff. That’s why I’m deducting one star. But I’d still buy it again anytime!

OK, but...!
I ordered this scoop again after a long time. It's not bad, very sturdy and handy (is that the right word?), but I spend too much time when my cat scratches a lot, trying to collect the clumps. Then they fall through all the holes, over and over again, and I’m constantly bent over. My back hurts every single time. With this scoop, it would be ideal if there were a few smaller holes in the middle, front, or back for the smaller clumps. Thank you.

Recommended
Best scoop for Cat's Best Nature Gold cat litter pellets. The holes are nicely large, so the pellets are sifted through quite quickly. However, the material becomes brittle over time, and the scoop eventually breaks in various places. I’d happily pay £5 for a version made of high-quality plastic, but as it stands, I’m deducting one star.

Wow, so bad.
It takes for ever to clean with this scoop, and the holes allow the wrong kind of 'stuff' to fall through. Bring back the litter lifter - it's the only scoop worth using!!
