Great for coarse litter
I use "Cat's Best Öko Plus", and this litter is naturally a bit coarser. For that, this scoop is absolutely perfect, and I can only recommend it.

Bad purchase
Too flimsy, and the holes are too big for our litter.

Super!
I think the litter scoop is absolutely fine, there's nothing to complain about!
People who have had cats for a while should really be able to tell from the picture that the litter scoop is suitable for coarser cat litter.
And just because you bought the wrong one doesn't mean the litter scoop is bad.

For "normal" litter...
... quite useful, serves its purpose. However, definitely not suitable for fine litter.

Hmm...
The shovel is actually really great, but what you unfortunately can't see in the picture is that the gaps are quite large. Otherwise, absolutely brilliant.

Litter scoop
Unfortunately, I can only agree with the others here – for fine clumping litter like EC, it’s really not suitable. Sadly, it was a bad purchase. The description should be updated, as it’s not accurate!

Was really a joke!
Sorry, but with such fine cat litter like EC, you can forget about the scoop! The holes are so big, a lot just falls right back through!

Bad
I use the litter "Extreme Classic" for my tomcat, and this scoop has slots that are far too large – small clumps can't be picked up. I'll have to throw the scoop away as it's completely useless! The product description doesn't match the item delivered!

Especially for ultra-litter!?
You must be joking!
The slots are far too large for ultra-fine litter, smaller clumps can't be picked up, and as a result, the litter starts to smell quickly.
The description should really be changed because, as it stands, it is DEFINITELY described incorrectly ;)

Super!
We use silica litter, and I was looking for exactly this kind of scoop (with slightly larger holes). Perfect.

Completely USELESS!!!
Outrageous to offer this litter scoop as "specially developed for ultra litter" – it’s useless for fine (ultra) litter because smaller pieces of soiled litter fall back into the toilet!
"The small slots in the scoop let unused litter fall through" – what small slots? On mine, they are HUGE! I wonder, when I read the description and look at the litter scoop I received, whether the people who write these descriptions have ever actually seen ultra litter and the advertised scoop... maybe even tested them.

Completely fine
For the price, the scoop is absolutely fine and works perfectly well for finer litter like Golden Grey or EC in our case. The only thing I find a bit disappointing is that I can't choose the colour and have to take whatever is packaged.

...... not fit for purpose
As mentioned before, not suitable for fine-grained litter. It only works with urine clumps. If the faeces are smaller, they fall through as well. Quite a shame, really.

Scatter scoop for cat litter tray
Absolutely terrible, as the openings are far too large. Everything falls through!
I can only throw it away now.

Does the job...
The shovel is unfortunately only suitable for very coarse bedding. Fine material unfortunately trickles through.

Only suitable for coarse litter
This scoop is so coarse-meshed that it’s only suitable for very coarse litter, not for the finely ground ones. Too much is left behind in the litter tray.
Unfortunately, the fact that it’s so coarse isn’t apparent before ordering.

The shovel could be more sturdy.
I've been using the scoop for 3 weeks now with 6 cats. Unused litter sifts through nicely. However, the scoop bends when removing clumps, and it's only a matter of time before it breaks.

Useless for delicate products
The finer products like Extreme Classic are not taken into account here at all. If there’s only one type of scoop available here, there should at least be an alternative. In my opinion, there’s only one that actually fits – and that’s from Catsan. Unfortunately, it’s not offered here. There was one at some point, but it was set too finely, so it was also unusable. Isn’t this tested at all?

Totally convinced!!
I’ve tried several scoops before, but this model won me over straight away!
Whether it’s clumping or natural litter, the holes are the perfect size for all types of litter. Claims that it’s too flimsy or not strong enough for clumping litter are something I can’t confirm at all. I have several cats, and cleaning the litter boxes daily is an absolute breeze with this scoop—it doesn’t even take 5 minutes! Full marks—and the value for money is unbeatable!!!

I think the shovel is brilliant!
I don’t understand why people rate the scoop so poorly. For the price-performance ratio, the scoop is ideal.
I think it also depends a lot on the type of litter you use. Since I use Premiere Excellent, I have very few clumps, and the scoop handles them brilliantly.
So, either switch the litter or, if you know what kind of clumps the litter produces, buy a sturdier scoop.
