Litter Scoop

As it should be

We chose this litter because of our sick cat, previously we used bentonite and then tofu litter. The tofu is really good but with 4 cats it’s just too expensive. With this litter, it costs half as much as the tofu. It clumps pretty well, but you shouldn’t scoop it out straight away because it falls apart—you need to wait for it to set properly. The smell is a bit odd but at least it doesn’t make dust. That was the main thing for us. The 40L bag is enough for 4 cats for a month.

The scoop works great for coarser sand, which is exactly my situation. I didn't give it five stars because I'd like it to be wider.

I've tried different types of litters from Zooplus. I would say this one is still optimal considering everything. I used silicone for about 1–2 years, but then the smell of urine became too much too quickly. It's less dusty than some others. You can also flush it down the toilet, although I don't do that anymore now that I have 3 cats. I just take it to the waste bin in a small bag.

The bedding is pretty good and at a decent price, but it could still be improved when it comes to dust and sticking to the paws.

We are very satisfied with this litter and have been using it for over 15 years. It’s a light and long-lasting clumping wood chip litter, which can even be composted. We have 3 indoor cats and one bag lasts about 2 months. The only downside is that it gets tracked out a bit easily, but not much more than other types, and that the pellet version—which would have solved the problem—doesn’t come in a 40L bag.
