For silicate litter, very good. Finer litter from Tigerino just falls through, and you can't scoop out the small clumps. For that, order the smaller variant instead.

I bought the previous model of this scoop 8 years ago, and now the plastic is slowly wearing out.
I use it for the very fine Tigerino litter. Yes, the mesh is quite wide, but I just tilt the scoop and pick up the finest crumbs with the closed side edge :-)
It becomes second nature, just give it a try ^^

Folks who aren't too familiar yet, please note that this is only suitable for clumping litter and, in my opinion, also for adult cats. Since kittens still need some time to get used to their food – they often have small bits of stool because it's too soft... and that all falls through the scoop.
