Trap-it! Cat Litter Mat

This product is not worth almost £10. It's a layered piece of plastic that can't be washed. It kind of works, but larger litter just sits on top.

I was very disappointed with this cat litter mat due to its extremely strong plastic or chemical odour. The smell is so overpowering that it’s unpleasant even for humans, which immediately raised concerns for me as a cat owner. Cats have a much more sensitive sense of smell, and placing this mat near the litter box would expose them to the odour constantly. It could cause discomfort or even potential health issues if inhaled over time. Unfortunately, the strong smell makes the product unusable.

easily cleaned. good size. Good Value, works well for 3 old cats. Best that I've tried of 3. I'm elderly too.

Best mat ever. Totally effective. Easy to clean even with two elderly cats who like clean but are ' untidy ' !

This mat is a joke, had it a few months and now it's practically bald. The squares come off every time I pick the litter tray up to shake the supposed trapped litter. Need a new one but won't be buying from here again. The mat I got 2 years ago was strong and great however zooplus you are upping your prices on products every month and cutting down on quality. not good at all.

Well, the first mat was brilliant, and is still going strong. The second mat I bought however, as another reviewer has said, isn't. I thought I'd better do a new review. So the new version is just like the picture. Very big holes, and a lot more open at the side. It does collect the litter, but it is harder to pour it out as it is so open. Unfortunately the foam squares are coming off now, after about a year :( The old version is still perfect. I wouldn't buy this new version again.

I’ve tried various other litter mats including other more expensive litter catchers. None come close to this one! So good I’m ordering another 2!

Terrible mat. The edges tare, making the litter fall out when you pick up the mat. The anti-slip cushions detach readily. Never had a problem with quality from Zooplus but this mat leaves a lot to be desired. Most definitely avoid.

Brilliant! For decades I’ve put up with litter being trailed all over the place, bought one of these a few weeks ago and it dramatically reduces the amount of litter around the tray. Easy to shake the litter from the end of the mat back into the tray too. My cats use a large enclosed tray and I placed the mat in front of the entrance, will buy another one to catch the few bits which the cats track to one side of the tray.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago from Zooplus but due to it getting damaged I had to buy another one. I thought I was buying the same one but it is definitely a different one. I was able to hoover up any scattered litter from the old one but I'm not able to do that with this one. The little rubber nodules come off so easily too which is then quite dangerous as my cat tries to eat them! My cats don't even seem to like standing on it either Wouldn't buy this one again, unfortunately.

This cat litter mat works so well I (a) no longer worry about getting fine grain cat litter and (b) don't need to spend a criminal amount of time vacuuming tracked litter! It also looks rather modern and almost stylish, meaning that I'm not embarrassed when people happen to see my cats' litter corner. I would never purchase a mat other than this one.

My first mat was fab and then it was out of stock and couldn’t get another. I use clumping litter and the holes were perfect. Now, the latest stock are very different with much larger holes and to be honest seems a little less substantial. Will have to see how it goes but such a shame it’s changed.

Firstly one item came packed in large box. Ok. There is not even one mat, there is 3/4 of mat :D

The mat does stop a bit of litter mess, however as I use the larger wood pellet or paper based litters it does not go through the holes as they’re too small.

I have bought a few different types, and so far this one is the best. Cats don’t jump over the mat it’s nice and soft and actually looks better on the floor than on the pic.

Good enough that I ordered another two. Product is a must have. A few bits make it past but it's not much and makes clearing it up so much easier.

This is a great mat. I've tried others and my cats jumped over it as they didn't like the feel. This one is soft and spongy and nice under my feet too as I have to walk over it. The holes to trap the litter are a good size and work well with Worlds Best. The mat is one big pocket, so you can separate the two layers and shake the litter out. It's a great size and well made too, so it should last. Thank you so much Zooplus

It catches every small piece of the litter. Good size. Easy to clean.

Smells a bit strange and has been falling apart a little more every day since I bought it.

Small toilet, has to fit under the door. And everything worked out perfectly.

Tore at the seams after just a month. Didn’t trap the sand very well.

Works well for a short time. But as soon as any liquid gets on it, you can't clean it properly anymore, and it does happen that your cat might miss the spot. Once there's urine on it, it's ready to be thrown out because you can't get rid of the smell, and then the cat keeps peeing on it.

Good and practical

I’m really happy with this litter mat. It doesn’t slip, is easy to clean with the hoover, and the litter falls out of the holes just as described. I also really like the colour. Definitely recommend buying it!

Ever since I got this mat, the amount of litter and pebbles around the flat and near the litter box has been reduced to a minimum. I’ve noticed that my cat sometimes scratches at it, but so far it’s holding up well, even though it’s made in layers. It hasn’t lost its visual appeal and still works well and looks good. Anyone expecting there to be absolutely no litter or pebbles when the cat comes out or dashes out of the litter box is expecting the impossible. That just doesn’t exist 😸

Good, it's easy to shake the sand out of the mat. The only downside is that it doesn't seem to withstand washing very well, in case you ever need to wash it for some reason.

This mat is simply wonderful! The cats took to it straight away. 👍🏻 It catches the cat litter really well and keeps it contained. Nothing ends up outside the mat. The mat is really well made, doesn't smell, and I honestly wonder why I didn't buy it sooner. Absolutely recommended!

My cat used to leave litter all over the house whenever I changed the litter, but with this mat, the problem is completely solved. It's big and perfect for the space by the terrace door.

It's very large and practical, and it does a great job of keeping the litter grains in.

Finally getting rid of this mat after 4 years, but honestly, I could've binned it after 2. It does an alright job, but I hardly ever used the feature to pour the litter back in, since it ripped the first time I tried. It's a big mat, but litter still ended up all over the place. Hoovering it was a pain, and it kept tearing at the seams within the first year, getting worse every time I tried to handwash it in the shower with soapy water. When the cat had accidents, the smell of urine just lingered even after washing, and I had to leave it outside for days to air out. I wouldn't buy it again.

I have tried numerous litter mats over the years and this is by far the best. The design traps the litter in a "pocket" and keeps the cat from tracking it outside the area. It also allows easy clean up. Just lift it carefully and dump the trapped litter in the trash. Works well with the very fine litter required for the hardest clumping. Highly recommended.

Nice mat, picks up litter well. Scratch-resistant.

Over time, it just gets damaged by cats jumping on it or swiping their paws against it. Also, it's a bit hard to deep clean without damaging it.
