It is just as important to keep on top of hygiene in the surrounding area as it is to clean your cat’s litter tray often. The Trap-it! Cat Litter Mat makes it easier to keep your home clean as its textured top layer catches litter from your cat’s paws and prevents the litter from being spread around your home. The mat has two layers so litter is trapped in the pores of the top layer and sinks into the second layer. The collected litter can easily be poured out of the side opening back into the litter tray or into the bin. The top layer is pleasantly soft and easy on the paws. The underside is waterproof. This mat is ideal for use with fine litter or cat litter sand.

Cheap material, too expensive for what it is

This product is not worth almost £10. It's a layered piece of plastic that can't be washed. It kind of works, but larger litter just sits on top.

Harmful chemical odour

I was very disappointed with this cat litter mat due to its extremely strong plastic or chemical odour. The smell is so overpowering that it’s unpleasant even for humans, which immediately raised concerns for me as a cat owner. Cats have a much more sensitive sense of smell, and placing this mat near the litter box would expose them to the odour constantly. It could cause discomfort or even potential health issues if inhaled over time. Unfortunately, the strong smell makes the product unusable.

easily cleaned. good size. Good Value, works well for 3 old cats. Best that I've tried of 3. I'm elderly too.

Best mat ever. Totally effective. Easy to clean even with two elderly cats who like clean but are ' untidy ' !

Poor quality

This mat is a joke, had it a few months and now it's practically bald. The squares come off every time I pick the litter tray up to shake the supposed trapped litter. Need a new one but won't be buying from here again. The mat I got 2 years ago was strong and great however zooplus you are upping your prices on products every month and cutting down on quality. not good at all.

Well, the first mat was brilliant, and is still going strong. The second mat I bought however, as another reviewer has said, isn't. I thought I'd better do a new review. So the new version is just like the picture. Very big holes, and a lot more open at the side. It does collect the litter, but it is harder to pour it out as it is so open. Unfortunately the foam squares are coming off now, after about a year :( The old version is still perfect. I wouldn't buy this new version again.

Floor saver!!

I’ve tried various other litter mats including other more expensive litter catchers. None come close to this one! So good I’m ordering another 2!

Terrible

Terrible mat. The edges tare, making the litter fall out when you pick up the mat. The anti-slip cushions detach readily. Never had a problem with quality from Zooplus but this mat leaves a lot to be desired. Most definitely avoid.

Wish I’d bought one years ago!

Brilliant! For decades I’ve put up with litter being trailed all over the place, bought one of these a few weeks ago and it dramatically reduces the amount of litter around the tray. Easy to shake the litter from the end of the mat back into the tray too. My cats use a large enclosed tray and I placed the mat in front of the entrance, will buy another one to catch the few bits which the cats track to one side of the tray.

Not as good as previous one

I bought one of these a couple of years ago from Zooplus but due to it getting damaged I had to buy another one. I thought I was buying the same one but it is definitely a different one. I was able to hoover up any scattered litter from the old one but I'm not able to do that with this one. The little rubber nodules come off so easily too which is then quite dangerous as my cat tries to eat them! My cats don't even seem to like standing on it either Wouldn't buy this one again, unfortunately.

Vacuuming reduced by 90%!

This cat litter mat works so well I (a) no longer worry about getting fine grain cat litter and (b) don't need to spend a criminal amount of time vacuuming tracked litter! It also looks rather modern and almost stylish, meaning that I'm not embarrassed when people happen to see my cats' litter corner. I would never purchase a mat other than this one.

Was a good mat...

My first mat was fab and then it was out of stock and couldn’t get another. I use clumping litter and the holes were perfect. Now, the latest stock are very different with much larger holes and to be honest seems a little less substantial. Will have to see how it goes but such a shame it’s changed.

Best for small granular litter

The mat does stop a bit of litter mess, however as I use the larger wood pellet or paper based litters it does not go through the holes as they’re too small.

If you need a mat get this one

I have bought a few different types, and so far this one is the best. Cats don’t jump over the mat it’s nice and soft and actually looks better on the floor than on the pic.

Catches the majority of litter;

Good enough that I ordered another two. Product is a must have. A few bits make it past but it's not much and makes clearing it up so much easier.

Finally!

This is a great mat. I've tried others and my cats jumped over it as they didn't like the feel. This one is soft and spongy and nice under my feet too as I have to walk over it. The holes to trap the litter are a good size and work well with Worlds Best. The mat is one big pocket, so you can separate the two layers and shake the litter out. It's a great size and well made too, so it should last. Thank you so much Zooplus
