Very shallow, holds little litter, rubber is already coming off.
The mat is very flat, and after a short period of use, the rubber coating on the top of the honeycomb pattern is already crumbling. I wouldn’t buy it again.

The cat loves it, but it's awkward to clean and breaks quickly.
The cat was a big fan of the mat and always wanted to be stroked on her belly while lying on it. Unfortunately, the mat is hard to clean because of the holes, and it also gets damaged quickly during cleaning and vacuuming.

Unfortunately not waterproof
The mat does what it’s supposed to and catches most of the litter. Unfortunately, it’s not 100% waterproof, which is a problem with my old lady. If urine gets on the mat and you don’t notice it straight away, the moisture seeps through and ends up on the floor. Such a shame – I guess I’ll have to keep looking for a satisfactory solution.
The workmanship doesn’t seem very high-quality either, though that wouldn’t be as much of an issue if it were waterproof.

Litter is still being carried around on the paws.
We have two litter boxes for our cats: one has the mat in front of it, and the other has a stepping board that comes with the box. Unfortunately, when the cats use the litter box with the mat, they still end up with litter stuck between their paws, even though the product description claims this shouldn’t happen anymore! The hallway is still scattered with litter, though less than before, which is why I’m giving +1 star. And since the mat catches most of the litter, it gets another one.

Not as good as previous one
I bought one of these a couple of years ago from Zooplus but due to it getting damaged I had to buy another one. I thought I was buying the same one but it is definitely a different one. I was able to hoover up any scattered litter from the old one but I'm not able to do that with this one. The little rubber nodules come off so easily too which is then quite dangerous as my cat tries to eat them! My cats don't even seem to like standing on it either Wouldn't buy this one again, unfortunately.

Unfortunately, it doesn't last long.
I think the mat for catching the litter is good.
Unfortunately, it broke very quickly for me. The plastic parts are coming off bit by bit.

Good
It does its job, but it smells so much like plastic.

Beware of cats with a plastic fetish
One of my two boys destroys everything, and I mean EVERYTHING made of plastic, unless it’s hard plastic.
This isn’t a fault of the product, but it’s unsuitable for people who know this behaviour from their cats.
The robot vacuum cleaner does manage to get over it without any issues, but it partially sucks up the mat. It doesn’t last long under those conditions.

Was a good mat...
My first mat was fab and then it was out of stock and couldn’t get another. I use clumping litter and the holes were perfect. Now, the latest stock are very different with much larger holes and to be honest seems a little less substantial. Will have to see how it goes but such a shame it’s changed.

Didn't last a week.
Was torn apart by my cats straight away, wasn't accepted, could have been due to the smell. Therefore, not recommended for purchase. Slight smell and not scratch-resistant.

Best for small granular litter
The mat does stop a bit of litter mess, however as I use the larger wood pellet or paper based litters it does not go through the holes as they’re too small.

Good
I find the mat very good and it does what it's supposed to. However, it could be a bit bigger. I have to place it under the litter box because the litter spills out from the sides, and it could be a bit longer at the front so that all the grains are caught when the cat steps out. As it is, I still have to sweep because there's so much litter in front of it.

Doesn't really work
The mat only works with very fine litter because the holes are simply far too small for larger grains. Additionally, the top part (with the holes) lies directly on the bottom part, so nothing can really fall through. I've now tried it in front of two litter boxes with different types of litter: with Cat's Best, it's completely useless; with Cat's Best Sensitive, it at least partially catches some of what the cats carry out. But all in all, it's not great.
