Tigerino Crystals Cat Litter Colourful – Sensitive (Unscented)

When Zooplus stopped selling this some time ago I tried all sorts of alternatives but nothing matches the ease of disposal, lack of odour and sheer convenience of this long-lasting litter. My only criticism is that it is a bit dusty (despite the claims to the contrary) but there is very little tracking and I am so pleased to see it on the site again that I am stocking up in case it disappears again.

I had the same experience as a previous reviewer in that the litter was clumping and not lasting as long. I have been using these fine crystals for some time and have previously left a very positive review but was disappointed with this latest batch. When I checked the packet I discovered that some of the bags delivered were actually labelled as clumping litter, which explains the clumping but nit why I received this instead of what was ordered.

After using the tigerino crystals the last 6 months decided to try the coloured stuff .. omg never again .. does not absorb any odours whatsoever .. would not recommend at all .. will be going back to crystals which are absolutely amazing .. the best I’ve ever used

Bought this instead of the larger crystal Tigerino litter which I thought was good but this is excellent stuff. It doesn't tread onto the floor like the larger crystals and is very absorbent. I have three cats and I only have to change it once a week. Highly recommended.

has this batch changed, we placed an order for 12 bags, and this batch the crystals get soiled very quickly and stick to the tray and requires daily cleaning, whereas the previous batch we bought was excellent - no clumping whats so ever

This litter is great I love it and so does the cat.

This litter looks amazing and its the best beyond my hopes, i rescue cats and 2sphynx i have are a nightmare they go to toilet 7plus times a day for poo and often can have bad tummy upset, if it wasnt for the litter being superb it would be all over the box as well its soft on there paws and massively helps the box keep clean and fresh with no bad odour, ive tried untold litter and all absolute waste of moneys this is the bestest ever its an absolute must x

I have used lots of different types of cat litter but this one tops the lot. It lasrs ages, scooping out is easy and it doesn't spread everywhere. I have 4 sphynx cats. I have two litter trays on the go and I replace litter completely every week. With other cat litters I have to change it completely every 3/4 days. I hate it when its out of stock and I have to use another cat litter.

Love silica litter and this isn't as large for my cat's sensitive pads. Have used different litters but always came back to this one!

This is the first litter we tried with our BSH kitten and she had no problems using it straight away, despite probably having been using something completely different with the breeder. It lasts for ages, you only have to scoop the solids out, and it holds smells well. We have a bin near it for cat poo which makes doing her litter tray no fuss at all. Best of all, unlike litters we have used when minding other peoples cats in the past, it does not get spread all over our house.

After finding the XL crystals made one of my cats cough alot, I started using OKO plus. However the trailing is terrible, and I find myself hoovering twice a day. I was given the chance to try this pink version and after a couple of days both of my cats were happy using it. I have 3 trays and filled one with this litter and the other two with OKO as normal. "Visually" the crystals seem to trail less... if they do its not as obvious as other types of litter which is more pleasant. The removal of waste is a lot quicker and easier. The crystals just fall away through the scoop so no shaking and banging required. One bag of litter seemed to last about a week before smelling acidic (bearing in mind both cats used the one crystal tray more than the other two). As I have been keeping the lids up on the trays due to my younger cat not being a fan of being enclosed, my elder cat hasn't had any coughing fits as of yet. Personally having used many types of litter over 7 years with 2 indoor cats I don't think you will ever find the 100% perfect match. One litter will always have a better feature than another... it's just trial and error. However this one seems cleaner and less sticky on paws, faster for waste removal and the colour reduces the horrible yellow staining you get with the white crystals. I'll definitely be changing to this when I finally start to run out of OKO plus. Thank you Zoo Plus for this opportunity :)

Great, 3 cats share the same litter box, I change it every 15 days using two bags each time.

The sand is absolutely terrible, way too coarse, my poor cat's paws actually hurt when she went to do her business, I don't recommend it at all.

I'm ordering this product again, but this time instead of the light blue and fine like sand, I received it in a very dark colour. This is a completely different product.

The best cat litter we've ever used.

Pleasantly surprised, the litter box really stays dry. And it smells a lot less too. I change the box after 12 to 14 days.

I've been using it for years too. There's a lot of dust, it's suffocating if you stand over it, the furniture gets covered in dust, and it also leaves a mossy smell now, which it never used to. I'm also thinking about switching to something else... the bags tear at the slightest touch.

My cat likes it

When pouring in the cat litter, it left a huge cloud of dust. After our cat used it, she had a coughing fit. Also, the cat litter spreads all over the house, or in our case, the basement. It crackles everywhere and there’s a strange dusty film all around. For us, this was the first and last time we bought this cat litter.

Pretty nice, my cats like it.

Listen, I usually order about 5-10 packs at a time. So I had quite a stock, but unfortunately it ran out about 3-4 weeks ago. Now, it looks like the same packaging, still divided into pink and blue, but honestly, this is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT LITTER. The grains are much bigger, the previous one was almost like sand, and now you have to start thinking about changing it after just about 5 days...

Better than I expected

I've tried quite a few types of litter, and this is the only one that's fine, unscented, and non-clumping, which is important because our cats are very sensitive. Personally, I've never seen a litter that's completely dust-free – but the price is great and it lasts at least 5 days, which you can't always expect from other litters.

Great

Really good, I always buy it.

Really good sand, I always buy this sand 👍

The odour control is really poor. My cats always had blue paws because it stained them. Unfortunately, it was also dusty, so we can't recommend it.

I can recommend this, and our cats like it too. I've tried other Tigerino silica crystal litters, but this one just works best and the cats are happy as well. The mat in front of the litter box helps prevent some of the litter from spreading, and we use a small dustpan and brush to clean up any litter in the bathroom.
