This was my first time using tofu litter. It clumps brilliantly, minimal dust and doesn't track but I find it doesn't cover up the urine odour very well. I also find the milky scent unpleasant. I wouldn't normally anything fragranced but this seems to be the only tofu litter Zooplus sell.

Absolutely not what I was expecting
I think this is on my top 5 for worst litters. After 3 days of use, considering daily removal of cumpls and poos the litter didn’t vover the smell. Even after cleaning the litter still smelled as it was dirty. The only good thing that i can say about this litter is that it barely stacked to the cats paws.

The clumping is good for pee but not for poop. It cannot cover the smell for poop, the smell lingers for a few hours even though the litter tray is in the cupboard. Did not have this problem before. My cat struggled to bury afterwards as the pallets are quite big and a big spiky.

The smell of the litter and my kittens smell doesn’t mix very well. I added more as I thought perhaps it needs to be buried deeper but the smell still lingers. Only when I have removed the poop does the smell go. It covers the pee smells great though.

Game changer
After using cats best for years, the last year or more I’ve been tearing my hair out, the dust and tracking has been absolutely unreal. After reading the reviews for this litter, I gave it ago. Well all I can say is, absolutely unbelievable. I have 2 ragdoll boys which have furry paws. They can dig for England in the tray’s. I can honestly say there is really no tracking, only 1 or 2 little strands at most. It’s brilliant. The cats like it, the smell is pleasant, and biodegradable.

I tried so many different cat litters over a years until accidentally I found tofu tiny pellets. So far it is a winner... clump nicely, don't leave track around house, I don't need to use anymore odour control sprays. And cats like it too!

All in all a good product! Smells pleasant and not overbearing, clumps well, barely tracks, isn’t dusty, rarely gets stuck to fluffy paws but the only negative is the price. It’s not the cheapest and the bags aren’t large so you’re better off getting the two or three bag deal. Would be 5 star if the bags were a little larger for the price!

Fresh & No Tracking
We were previously using the Premium Tigerino Vanilla Clay but I found that the clumps broke off into small pieces that were impossible to scoop, and retained a scent of ammonia.
This stuff is seriously good. The smell is, dare I say, pleasant? Even after kitty use. I think this can be credited to the clumping ability, where the unsoiled litter remains very dry with no small broken off clumps to spoil it. There is also barely any tracking with this, whereas I found the clay got everywhere!

Hides odours

Better to buy the green tea version
So, we've tried both the milk and the green tea versions. There's nothing to complain about with the green tea one. Unfortunately, we were rather disappointed with the milk version. It doesn't bind odours nearly as well and it often sticks to the bottom of the toilet (stainless steel). That's why we'll only be buying the other version from now on. I've already reviewed that one too, but gave it 4 stars, mainly because I think it's a bit pricey.

Not the right one for us

A few months ago, I started a little experiment and gradually swapped out the litter in all 5 cat toilets, so the cats could choose for themselves. By now, all of them have been changed and I’ve decided to get a subscription!

I just can't understand the hype about this litter. The only good thing is the smell – I actually find it really pleasant. But I can't say how the scent holds up over time, because I took the litter out of the tray after just one day. It hardly clumps at all; instead, when it gets wet, the pellets just turn into a mush. The only downside to this product is the price!!
