Tigerino Premium Cat Litter – Sensitive (Unscented)

i have bred cats and owned rescues for my whole life and at last found perfection in a litter. I have used unscented and original (baby powder scent, oddly) and they are just great. If you make a good depth of litter in the tray the urine doesn't even reach the bottom, so the clumps come out as cleanly as the solids. No waste, no smelly residue stuck in the tray. No dust either. This litter lasts for ages as there is no waste, and buying the packs in pairs is a real saving too. (Hint: if you buy TWO pairs, it is free p&p and lasts months and months). PS. The cats love it as much as me!

This is a good ultra fine litter which clumps very well but like a previous reviewer on the offer page one of my cats has suffered fur loss on her legs & tum where she comes into contact with the litter. Consequently I'm not reordering!

I'd been having issues with my adopted cats not using the cat box I had, after changing box (like the deeper one), the location (more private?), and the litter they're now using it without fail. Yay! This litter is noticeably less smelly, with twice daily cleaning (amazing how much 2 large cats can produce!) and topping up I still can't smell anything and it's been a few weeks. Yes the tracking is worse, so I'll see whether a mat will help, but for the reassurance of no messes a little sweeping is nothing. Price reasonable as well.

I have used many clupming litters and must say this one is brilliant,clumps very well and barely smell anything when I scoop.

We have 2 cats and use the OmegaPaw box. We recently bought a Litter Spinner and it works a treat also with that one. Clumping: The litter clumps exceptionally well and removing the waste is a breeze. Value for money: very good,we change the whole lot once every ~10 days, "rolling-away" the clumps daily. Smell: none/very little smell coming out even if we forget to change it for 1 day. We tried also the Tigerino Nuggies which is talc scented and our personal preference is for the unscented one.

This is one of the litters I keep coming back to. It's quite affordale, nice quality and forms tight clumps that are easy to clean. Like all clay based litters it's a bit dusty and like all litter, it trails. I suppose litter that's made out of larger particles or wood etc is "better" if you're worried about trailing and dust but this makes cleaning the litter box easy and the cats love it. I recommend this!

Just amazing clumping making it so economical, no dust, little spread and it is white (well palest grey) so no staining of fluffy white paws, Particularly economical when buying as a pair, then if you buy TWO pairs you get free delivery. Win Win!

This is one of the few fine clumping cat litters one can find that are unscented and are reasonably priced. Previously my favourite was Biokats unscented, but it has been withdrawn so I tried this. It is a great litter, it clumps very well, there is some dust but I can handle it, and there is no odour. However, I have a particular problem with my cat's habit to pee on the walls of the litter tray. This means that good clumping ability = clumps glued on the tray walls. Cleaning the tray and the scoop is much more difficult than it was with Biokats (whose clumps tend to break more easily). This is not a problem with the litter, but for practical reasons I will now try the scented Biokats micro. I hope the smell won't be unbearable as I don't like perfumes.

I have a Persian kitten who's breeder recommended I used a wood based cat litter, one of the most expensive as well. The cat litter hardly clumped and stuck to my kitty's fur. Now I don't have that problem thanks to this amazing cat litter. The clumps are so solid that it leaves the rest of the cat litter still fresh and clean. None of it sticks to her fur any more and the cat litter itself is so fine, like sand granules, that it must be gentler on her paws too. Not only is it miles better, it's also half the price of the breeder recommended litter!

I never thought I'd change from the previous litter I was using with my boy but after reading a couple of reviews from previous poster I thought I'd give this a try. The bag I have is slightly dustier than the litter we used before but it's more than being made up for by the significant reduction in tracking (suspect because it's heavier grain), equally good odour control for solids, and the fantastic clumping means there's virtually no break up when scooping and so the remaining litter stays really fresh. No odour build up even after 10 days of topping up - I can't believe it and my fussy boy is very content. It clumps so quickly I'm getting no sticky mess at the bottom of the tray either. Had no issues with my boy changing over - I just put a thin top layer of his old litter on top on the first day. It seems expensive but there's virtually no waste when scooping and the complete changes are less often so I think it's going to be great value. Only draw back is how heavy the bags are so hopefully problems with dispatch won't start to happen. Very pleased we gave this a go!

I've tried non-clumping, 'non-clumping' which actually clumps, clumping which turns into sludge and now I've finally found something that is just right. My cat likes to dig right to the bottom to pee, meaning that it just goes right on the tray. I've had this litter a few days now and he's only dug to the bottom once, which did make the litter stick to the tray a litter but nowhere near as bad as any other litter. Otherwise, pee forms into really tight clumps that don't break and odour is masked really well. I read somewhere that if your cat likes to use one particular part of the tray to pee, bank the litter up in that area so that they don't dig to the bottom. My cat likes to go either at the front or the back, so I spread the litter in a way that means there is a slight valley in the middle. This does the trick and stops the pee getting to the bottom. My 15kg bag arrived two days ago and yesterday I ordered 2 more at the better price. I can't see myself getting through the one bag any time soon so now I'm set for a good while. I also bought a Litter Champ as I can now see it is viable to dump the pee clumps straight into the bin. Previously I had been scraping sodden litter into a dog poo bag and putting in a bin outside. I should also say that whilst this litter does track a little (I have a DLH), it is nowhere near as bad as the previous litter and as it is a fine, almost sandy consistency, it's not so noticeable/painful to step on. My cat always pees a bit on his fur too and a previous fine grade litter stuck to those bits - they looked like crusty pee dreadlocks. So disgusting. Tigerino doesn't do this at all. Dust is minimal. All round great product that I will buy again and again.

I was having problems with one of my cats going outside his litter box, so switched one of the two boxes from Catsan Crystals to Tigerino. He's a rescue cat and had been declawed so I thought maybe the crystals were hurting his feet, which is why I made the change. I'm now switching both to Tigerino. Both the cats love it and have completely stopped using the other box (completely negating the benefits of having one box each!). It does track a little, but not nearly as much as Catsan. More importantly, there is no odour at all. All the liquid gets absorbed so well that it never touches the box itself, so there's no chance of a smell. It also lasts FOREVER. This isn't a cheap litter, but value wise, it's amazing. I scoop every day and it just keeps on going! Definitely been a positive change for us.

I have 6 indoor cats and a lot of litter trays! I also have 2 Litter Spinner and have been using Cats Best in them which is good as it can be flushed straight down the loo, but it isn't great at falling through the spinner filter as the pieces are a little too large. Tigerino is very fine, like course sand and brilliant for the Spinner but even in a normal litter tray you get perfect 'wee clumps' which don't break apart and soil the rest of the litter so there's much less waste as only the dirty litter is scooped and sifted out. I've found that ALL litter produces some 'tracking' but it's minimal with this one and I also like the fact that this version is unscented. The only downside is the weight, it's very heavy, especially compared to the light and fluffy stuff that I've been using but this is only a minor complaint. I've tried many litters over the years and at the moment this is by far my favourite ..... but if it was flushable it would be absolutely perfect. :)

We had been using a clumping cat litter from another large retail company but we had decided not to renew our yearly membership fee. I tried several other clumping litters but none of them were as good as the original. I was so pleased that this is as good as the other cat litter we used but it is cheaper, as we have 5 cats this does make a difference. Very pleased with this product.

Like Dorothy says in her review - this litter is amazing! It clumps perfectly and that makes it last forever! We only completely change the litter every 1-1.5 weeks since when only picking out the clumped parts and poo, it stays fresh for quite long. I would recommend this to anyone, especially for those who doesn't like the scented litters like me.

It isn't just very good it is excellent. This cat litter is everything it says about it on the Zooplus site; plus it allows removal of all urine and poo with the very minimum of waste. I thought at first it seemed a bit pricey, so just bought one 15k pack. However, it is so good that I immediately sent for the two pack offer as every time I find any product this good, it is withdrawn. Not expensive at all - in fact it's turning out to be extremely ecconomical and my 4 cats love it. Urine comes out clean, in a tight ball that doesn't break up when it's scooped out; and the only smell is very briefly from poo - so easily, and quickly, removed. I cannot praise this product enough. I have 3 four month old Persian kittens and a 13 year old Persian female, so always have two litter trays in use. To start with I just put this in one tray - you know how fussy cats can be. No worries - from the first day of using this litter they all ignored the old course fullers earth litter we used before, and all use the tray with the Tigerino in. We had two unused sacks of our previous fullers earth litter which we gave to the local Vet, as they also work closely with the RSPCA and Cats Protection. Do give this litter a try - you'll be amazed at how good it is. Oh yes - it looks and feels like course grey sand - lovely.

I've been using this litter for a while and there was always a bit of dust, like with any clay litter, but with my last purchase it's 10 times worse. I can see it flying around, my air purifier goes crazy, and both the cats and I are sneezing because of it... such a shame. Looking for an alternative.

The cat litter is great for sifting, doesn’t smell, and one bag lasts me a long time. I had signed up for a subscription, but I wouldn’t recommend it. The option to cancel the subscription hasn’t worked for a week now. I emailed customer service a week ago asking them to cancel it manually, but I haven’t received a reply yet.

The best sand option in terms of quality for the price.

This cat litter clumps well and lasts much longer than expected, as long as you clean the litter box daily. The only downside I can mention is that in the new metal litter boxes, the litter sticks to the metal, making it harder to remove. In the plastic litter box, however, it stays nicely compact.

The product is good, but this is already the second time the bag has arrived torn and the sand is all over the box.

We've also noticed that the quality has gone down. We used this for years. Now we have to switch to other litters because this one doesn't clump like it used to, and it really does create more dust too.

I ordered the litter despite the bad reviews because I wanted to see for myself. At first, the litter seems okay. But I quickly realised that it doesn't clump well, the clumps fall apart when scooping, and small bits of wet litter are left behind. Conclusion: after just a few days, the litter is constantly damp and smells of urine. Unfortunately, a complete waste of money. I definitely won't be ordering it again.

It forms a sticky paste, gets the paws dirty and sticks to the pads. Hard to clean.

I bought it because I read it was one of the most recommended. But it’s been a total letdown. It doesn’t clump well and definitely doesn’t absorb odours. From the very first use, the litter looks dirty and smells like pee or poo from a distance.

I've been using this cat litter for years. However, something must have changed a lot since the last delivery. The litter starts to smell after a very short time and the cats don't like going in anymore. Such a shame. I used to like buying it and was very satisfied. 😔

I have 8 cats – they all accept it. Low dust level, good for cats with asthma. No smell. Clumps very quickly, I've been using it for over 2 years in electric litter boxes without any problems.

The quality has dropped a lot. I used to only buy this litter, but now it's really bad. It doesn't clump well, creates loads of dust, and the smell of ammonia from the urine is unbearable. Such a shame.

After trying several types of litter, this one worked for us. It doesn’t get dusty, the clumps form perfectly, and it absorbs odours well. To prevent it from scattering, there’s a mat with holes under the litter tray that catches most of it. Obviously, some still gets out, especially when my cat digs with a lot of enthusiasm, but that’s just how it is. At least the price isn’t outrageous.
