Tigerino Premium Cat Litter – Sensitive (Unscented)

They keep changing the plastic packaging and some variants split easily...sometimes during the delivery process. The litter itself is ok, clumps well, but can occasionally be dusty.

Quite dusty, especially compared to the other Tigerino but since they’re all scented, I favour this one. It’s good for the price though.

Fantastic litter, everyone that comes to my house mentions you wouldn’t even know I have pets. I have 2 cats and only 1 litter as I found they only use one anyway and i clean it twice a day. It clumps like a dream and does not smell at all (we change it completely every 2 weeks). The only downside is that you’ll have it everywhere… bed, floor, tables etc.

I have 8 indoor cats and have used catsan hygiene and nuggies in the past. This is better and clumps well so is easy to remove. The clumps don't break apart. My cats seem to prefer the sandy texture and now ignore the 2 trays with catsan. Only downside is my cats are real diggers and they dont like hooded litter trays so the sand is all over the floor and does track despite having litter mats.

Absorbs and clumps well so easy to clean out solids from the tray. I have 8 cats and they prefer the sand texture. The solids stay solid unlike the nuggies which break up when scooping out. I've been using this for a few months now and have been really happy with it... but the last couple of bags have been different. Like the last review says, it sticks like glue to everything - the scoop, the tray, and my cats' paws if they stand on a clump! And I mean it really sticks. It gets matted into the fur on their feet, and the only thing I can do is try to massage it out in water (easier said than done!). I'm off now to try and bathe my cat for the 3rd time this week :(

Clumps well, you just have to fill the litter tray quite deep otherwise it starts sticking to the sides. Not dusty either. My only issue is that I always order unscented but one time the bag actually contained baby powder scented litter, which was rather annoying. Given the price point I’ll continue to purchase this but I will consider changing brands if I keep getting sent scented versions in unscented packaging because that’s just not okay.

This is quite literally the only litter I’ve found that doesn’t cause me to get a headache from the added smells that seem to be put in other litters. It’s fine grain also doesn’t cause my cats allergy eyes. Why is it always out of stock for months on end. Is it still in production? I have a question about one batch tho that seemed as if the litter size was larger and then tracked all over the house. Please retain the fine granules and ffs do not add any scent. Thx

My cat really likes this litter and when it's right it's great but there are big differences between batches. I've had bags that are so dusty it's like a bag of powdered cement has exploded in the room every day leaving a thick layer of dust everywhere.. Normally a bag will last three weeks, others will be smelling after a week. The current batch I have has multiple small clumped 'beads' in it almost as if it has been rained on prior to being bagged. Nice litter, clumps very well, however the smell left after cats use it it's terrible on my opinion. Even using powder or spray deodorant is not effective as the smell changes and it's bad. There's some litter getting grabbed under cats paws that spreads around the house (specially when the ragdoll uses it because of its toe tufts) but nothing comparing to other brands I've used before. Besides a carpet in front of the box helps get most of the litter from their paws.

I really wanted a biodegradable litter but decided to ease the kitten into her new home by using the same brand from her precious one. I can say that Tigerino traps odour and clumps really well! I only took a star out because of the general sustainability of the product.

Tigerino Canada Cat Litter Sensitive altho a bit dusty when you first pour it in it seems to settle OK. I dont believe any plant fibre or clay based cat litter is 100% dust free. Tigerino is the best clay type I've used so far, it clumps well but doesn't stick to the box like cement which the Intersand Classic I tried before it did. That makes it a nightmare to wash & clean the box. Also coming from Cat's Best Smart Pellets which became too dusty, its far easier to siv & covers up odours well.

This is one of the litters I keep coming back to. It's quite affordale, nice quality and forms tight clumps that are easy to clean. Like all clay based litters it's a bit dusty and like all litter, it trails. I suppose litter that's made out of larger particles or wood etc is "better" if you're worried about trailing and dust but this makes cleaning the litter box easy and the cats love it. I recommend this!

This is one of the few fine clumping cat litters one can find that are unscented and are reasonably priced. Previously my favourite was Biokats unscented, but it has been withdrawn so I tried this. It is a great litter, it clumps very well, there is some dust but I can handle it, and there is no odour. However, I have a particular problem with my cat's habit to pee on the walls of the litter tray. This means that good clumping ability = clumps glued on the tray walls. Cleaning the tray and the scoop is much more difficult than it was with Biokats (whose clumps tend to break more easily). This is not a problem with the litter, but for practical reasons I will now try the scented Biokats micro. I hope the smell won't be unbearable as I don't like perfumes.

This cat litter clumps well and lasts much longer than expected, as long as you clean the litter box daily. The only downside I can mention is that in the new metal litter boxes, the litter sticks to the metal, making it harder to remove. In the plastic litter box, however, it stays nicely compact.

I'm asthmatic and so is my cat, and this litter is one of the only ones that doesn't give off any dust... As for odour, it's really good too. I'm taking off one star because it's very heavy (in kg) and you need a lot of it for it to be enough.

4 out of 5 stars. Because with EVERY delivery, extra items were always damaged due to the weight of the litter. So if you order, just get the litter, order the rest separately. Otherwise, the product is great. Hardly any dust and it's really well accepted.

I feel like the quality has gone down. More sand gets carried out on the paws from the box than before.

Has anyone else noticed that the gravel has changed at the same time as the bags were changed? There’s now a bigger variation in the size of the gravel and it doesn’t clump as well.

A decent cat litter, but not our favourite. Fine-grained, low on dust and clumps well. Because of the fine grains, there is a bit more tracking around the litter box. We also tried Multi Cat XL-Grain (large grains, almost dust-free), XL-Grain Sensitive (small grains and a lot of dust) and Multi-Cat Standard (too much tracking). For us, this one lands nicely in the middle.

A bit too dusty but clumps really well

Very nice litter. Clumps well and lasts a long time. We did use about 3/4 of a bag as the first fill in our XXL tray, but after that it’s very economical to use. We have one cat who likes to play with water, so sometimes a bit of litter sticks to his wet paw. The other cat doesn’t do that, and nothing ever sticks to his feet. The bag is a bit awkward to (re)fill though—you are holding 12 kilos after all.

Overall, the litter is decent and matches the description pretty well. However, I find it quite dusty, to be honest. It absorbs the cat’s poo well, but when it comes to wee, it’s not great—the clumps break apart really quickly and are very crumbly.

We’ve been using this cat litter for years and it’s always been a favourite and worked well. Unfortunately, the packaging was (this year?) updated so that it’s probably easier to open, but now twice our order has arrived with at least one bag already opened during transport and the litter scattered in the delivery box. I hope this can be fixed.

I've been using this litter for over 5 years now, and while it's quite fine and some of it gets tracked outside the litter boxes, it's nothing a few mats and a good brush can't sort out. The most important thing is that it clumps really well, and you don't notice any smells unless the "gift" has just been left. Even though there's a bit of dust when you pour the bag into the tray, there's hardly any when the cats dig around. In short, after trying loads of types and brands over the last 10 years, this one is my top pick 💯.

If you regularly scoop out or thoroughly clean the litter box yourself, you won’t smell it. There’s also very little tracking of pellets onto the floor. Pee clumps well, which makes scooping much easier.

It produces little dust and my cats like the fine texture. Very clumping. The downside is the packaging material. They've switched to "hard plastic" and lately it keeps arriving at home all busted...

Excellent sand for the price, clumps well and doesn’t create much dust.

Pretty decent litter. If the clump is bigger, it sticks to the bottom of the box, which is a downside.
