Tigerino Premium Cat Litter – Sensitive (Unscented)

it used to be a very good litter option and we had been using it for over 2 years but now it became so bad somehow......so sad

It says unscented on the listing but then on the packaging it states it has a fresh febreze flower fragrance

I’ve been buying this for years as it was great and low dust. Most recent delivery and quality is very poor and the litter is like dust. Clouds of dust when pouring it and scooping. My cat has asthma so I’ll need to find an alternative.

Unfortunately I noticed a sharp decline in the quality of this product. They must have changed the type of clay. The first thing I noticed was the change in color. Then, the clumps started to break, and that's a non-negotiable to me (and my cats). Was a happy customer for about a year, but now I'm switching brands.

Both my cats used to love this litter, but now it is too fine and dusty. My long hair cat refuses to use it now and defecates all over the house instead. What a waste buying multi-packs

Couldn't be any dustier. Terrible for my lungs and my cats lungs. The dust is just lingering through into other rooms directly across the bathroom trays. I saw a bentonite litter that wasn't dusty and was fine so I decided to try it but I guess different brands have different dust control to the product. I wouldn't buy this again, sorry but the dust is super unhealthy.

Like so many other cat litters these days it seems this litter has changed slightly. Fine for the cats - they have no problems with it. However cleaning up after them is now a nightmare. If any of the litter gets wet it turns to a horrible sticky glue-like mess that you can't get off the tray or the scoop. I'm waiting for one of my scoops to snap it's that bad. It never even seems to dry. This tracks everywhere but I could put up with that if cleaning the tray hadn't become such a nightmare.

Not sure if this is a 1 off but ive used this for ages and its been great, just taken delivery of 4 bags opened 2 and it smells like baby powder even thou it says fragrance free on the bag. Obviously not the fault of Zooplus who ive been using for years and are fab, but either a change in ingrediants or a mistake in bagging, either way not a happy cat!!

This litter used to be great but changed couple of months back. Dustier and not clumping well with urine, the blocks don't stay together so the pee spreads and stays mixed with the sand, making the sand last way less before becoming smelly.

I was initially impressed. It clumps incredibly well, so, I went ahead and bought 6 bags. Big mistake! The whole room is constantly covered in grey dust, it’s everywhere! And I’m finding it so hard to scoop out any clumps, I’ve broken one scoop, and will probably break more. My cat likes to dig, so I’ve had to fill the 50cm tray right up, and the clumps still get stuck on the bottom like concrete. The weight is also a problem.

There are many good things about this cat litter and I can under stand the positive reviews, but I wont be buying it again. The good: It clumps really well, is impressively dust free and doesn't get spread around the flat nearly as badly as most other litters I've tried. The bad: Not good for cats who like to dig into their litter. Sherlock didn't have any problems but it kept getting stuck all over Mycroft's nose and, if it set, it was really hard to get off. Needs a really deep layer in the litter tray or sticks to the bottom. WEIGHS A TON! There's only one size available and it was nearly iimposible for me to get the bag upstairs after it was delivered. I use a large covered litter tray, which needed the whole bag, and once it was full, I had to slide it around because I couldn't lift it. When I emptied the tray, despite double bagging it, the bags tore and it leaked all over the back stairs.

The product is good, but this is already the second time the bag has arrived torn and the sand is all over the box.

I ordered the litter despite the bad reviews because I wanted to see for myself. At first, the litter seems okay. But I quickly realised that it doesn't clump well, the clumps fall apart when scooping, and small bits of wet litter are left behind. Conclusion: after just a few days, the litter is constantly damp and smells of urine. Unfortunately, a complete waste of money. I definitely won't be ordering it again.

We used to be very satisfied. However, recently the litter has become coarser, the clumps fall apart and stick to the bottom of the litter box. I find it especially disappointing that there was no notice anywhere that the product had been changed.

The litter clumps up to a certain point, but if the pee is concentrated in one spot with little litter, it falls apart and turns into a sticky paste that sticks to their paws. I want to point out that I had to stop buying it because in the last two deliveries, the product bags were cut open and the litter spilled all over inside the boxes, which arrived half destroyed—a real mess.

I had been using this litter for years and was more than satisfied with it. However, I've noticed in recent months that it's become increasingly dusty. The grains are much finer than before. What a shame!!! My cats sneeze and cough. I have no choice but to switch brands.....

The only positive thing is that it clumps really well. But that's about it. It produces a lot of dust and the smell is very unpleasant. Even though I clean up after my cat 2-3 times a day, it still smells very bad. I tried this litter for the first time, but I won't be buying it again.

Always been great so far, but the last bag was extremely dusty even just when removing the clumps... such a shame!

It's sad and really unfortunate that the quality has actually suffered 😥 It gets way too dusty and forms clumps, so it's just okay... Dear manufacturer, please "improve the quality and still keep it affordable".

Bad for small grains

On the last delivery, one of the two bags was torn. Clearly, the quality is worse, and the sand itself seems different too. It creates more dust and starts to smell bad faster when it comes into contact with cat urine. It used to absorb better before. Now the litter needs to be changed more often. I think they've changed the chef! 🤷🏻‍♂️

I discovered this litter about 4 or 5 years ago. Until recently, I thought it was one of the best litters I’d ever tried and I even recommended it to everyone. It clumped really well and produced hardly any dust. Expensive, but worth it. I’ve decided to stop buying it because, apart from the fact that it now smells quickly—which it didn’t use to—the litter is now much finer, doesn’t clump as well, and the dust it gives off is terrible. I’m really surprised by this change and I think the brand should reconsider its formula.

I've been buying this litter for years because I thought the quality-price ratio was great. But they must have changed something, because the last two bags have had the litter suuuper fine and it creates much more dust than before... I don't think that's good for our cats' little lungs...

The smells aren’t neutralised straight away, they linger in the air for a long time, and it doesn’t clump like it used to. I’m disappointed with this litter. One of my cats is more sensitive, has asthma, and ended up coughing a lot because it creates so much dust. 🥺

I was happy with my previous orders up until now—the product met my expectations and the quality was as expected. But the last order was nothing like the others: the litter is much finer, and my cat tracks it all over the house. It’s also dustier. I’ve placed a new order and I hope the last one was just a one-off, otherwise I’ll have to switch brands.

But what’s been going on these past few months, has something changed??? It has a smell, it’s dusty, and the clumping isn’t great!!!! And yet I’ve been using it for 4 years! Is it a new formula??? Please pass this on to the brand’s supplier...

I used to buy this repeatedly and was very satisfied, but unfortunately the last three bags were a disaster. No clumps at all, just wet litter that I had to throw out completely and replace with new. I thought maybe one batch could be worse, but three is the limit. I’ll have to look for something else.

I often find large pieces, the colour is different, and now it gives off a different smell when it comes into contact with urine. It falls apart easily. Even worse, after these changes, my cat has developed alopecia on her belly where it touches the litter!

I don’t know whose interest it served, but for years we’ve been using the Tigerino Canada unscented version with our 7 cats, and everyone was happy. Until now. The last two orders arrived in new packaging, and the litter bags were already torn when they got here, so half ended up in the bin. And as for the quality of the litter – the change was a complete disaster. Absolutely unacceptable.

It's the first time I've bought it. It clumps well but creates quite a lot of dust, so I wouldn't recommend it for that reason.
