KatKin Scoop Planet Cat Litter

Really good product but sadly out of my reach. Cost wise.

Positives - low tracking, good clumping, pretty easy to clean, the cats’ favourite Negatives - strong vanilla odour, sticks like glue to scrapers!

I have a multi cat household and two electric self cleaning litter boxes. I have tried all litters and have finally found a combination that works. Golden grey is fantastic but too heavy for the boxes. Mix this in with at least 50 percentage golden grey and it’s perfect. I have tried other mixes and other tofus but this is the best combination for us.

I've tried every cat litter and settled on wood pellets because they worked out cheapest for the amount of times I changed them. But the cat area and thus house still smelled of urine pretty often. When I started using this my kid was like 'why does the cats' room smell of.... CAKES?' It kind of does smell of cakes. Scooping is a breeze, the little cat jobbies kind of roll to the top, nothing feels affected by anything, the caking is really good. Lasts really well.

I’ve tried all the top litters over the years and this is the best by a country mile; minimal tracking, no dust, conceals odours and clumps well for scooping up. I wasn’t a fan of the vanilla fragrance but it completely conceals any urine smell and it isn’t too overbearing! Other people have commented on the sticky texture and sticking to the tray, but through trial and error I can say that if you fill it 5cm deep or more, this won’t happens - the deeper the better and it lasts too

Tried this litter due to adds and good reviews but personally I didn’t like it, It did conceal smells and definitely less tracking than clay litter but the clump it made for liquid was a hard cement type consistency, it was really hard to scoop out and stuck to the bottom of the tray so unfortunately I’ll be still looking for a better alternative.

I have never left a review in my life but after getting this cat litter I knew I had too! This has got to be the best cat litter I have ever bought. I have 3 cats the oldest being 15 all house cats. I have tried so much cat litter over the years and no matter what I get dust and tracking everywhere & eventually the strong smell of urine. This is a miracle, no smell, no dust, minimal tracking being easy to pick up. Just amazing, a must have for any cat owner 😀

Well, there is not much to say, as the previous reviews are totally right. It is the best cat litter ever. I do not gag anymore cleaning my cat's litter, and the vanilla smell is only at the beginning; after a few hours, it completely disappears. No more spending days scooping, cleaning, and looking for the perfect litter, because this is it.

There is only one good thing about this litter - there is very little dust. Apart from that, there's nothing to recommend it. It's a total waste of money. The cats don't like the smell. It doesn't clump all that well. Due to the size of the pellets, you can't use a normal scoop to separate the waste from the litter. I tried to introduce the cats to this by mixing it with the old litter a bit at a time. They couldn't be persuaded. They tried it once. That was it. Poured it out into the compost.

This is a really good. It is very economical. It clumps well and doesn’t leave a slimy residue on the tray like some other natural clumping litters. There is no dust. It only tracks a little, but no further than the mat. There is no urine smell. I don’t like having a scoop to clean, so I use biodegradable poo bags to scoop the clumps and poo. My only complaint is the strong sweet vanilla smell. I would prefer a more natural non food smell, but the litter is so good, it won’t put me off using.

I don't know how we've had such a contrasted experience compared to everyone else as we found it honestly awful. It turns to a mushy consistency inbetween clumping. Our cats hate it as it sticks to their paws and has quiet a strong smell. One our cats hated it so much they peed outside the litter tray on the mat - it was a freshly cleaned litter tray for context.

Best product ever my cat loves it and I will never try anything else It is simple the best thing you can buy for your cat 🐈

This litter is the best performing cat litter I've used. It clumps really well and cover the smell very well. Also lasts a good amount of time with the bag's volume. I have 3 cats and 3 litter boxes, and I use 3 bags per month. Good value for money overall.

I wish I had discovered this sooner. It is amazing! No smells! I'm racing about this to all my friends :)

I have been using this cat litter for a little over a year now and it is the best cat litter I have tried and I have had cats for 40 years. As long as this cat litter is available I will never buy a different brand. No cat litter smell, so easy to clean. Very little tracking.

It lasts all month and the best thing no nasty smells no one knows I have a cat until they see him. I do not mind to change the litter anymore as there is no strong smell. It is just the best nothing compares

This is the best litter I’ve tried& I’ve tried a lot. It’s not perfect but closest I’ve got. Pro’s • Clumps well • no dust • minimal tracking • masks smells • bag lasts one cat 4wks as advertised (as long as your cleaning mess out at least daily) Con’s • the horrible sweet vanilla smell • cost The smell wasn’t a problem for my boys so I just need to suck it up! I’ve been buying from Katkin so fab to find it on Zooplus with a saving (altho, now out of stock 😞) Wish bag was bigger!

I’ve used this litter for a few months now, buying direct from katkin. So pleased zooplus now sell it! It is best litter I’ve ever used. Great smell, planet friendly, last for weeks, therefore is economical and is so easy to remove cat waste from. My 3 cats just used it from the minute I switched over. Love it!

We love this litter, cat does too, no urine smell and it clumps well. Does have a sweet smell to it but doesn’t bother us or the cat!

I've tried a lot of different litters. It's not perfect, but offers best balance of all that I've tried. - Good clumping - minimal/ no dust - smells quite nice - lasts a long time - environmentally friendly I highly recommend (I very rarely review things, so must be good)
