Test results

Having tried a different brand (reviewed same date) I have decided to stay with this brand until I try another. 5stars is my goal. I would say this brand so far is the best for my cat.

Overpriced for change in product

I have been buying this for around a year. The last 3 months the product has not performed as it used to. Disappointing so I have selected other brand to try out. 🤞for new brand which is a lot cheaper.

Excellent litter but pricy

I prefer this to the wood and paper pellets I used to mix up. because a) my cat seems to prefer it b) minimal if any tracking c) takes less space d) easy to clean up. I get around the wee'd on litter sticking like cement to the base of the litter tray by lining the tray with recycled newspaper. Unfortunately my senior cat drinks and wees loads and has 2 litter boxes so we get through much more than the recommended 1 pack a month. Dropping a star because it's expensive by comparison.

Cats seem to like it

Positives - low tracking, good clumping, pretty easy to clean, the cats’ favourite Negatives - strong vanilla odour, sticks like glue to scrapers!

Mixer for self cleaning litter boxes

I have a multi cat household and two electric self cleaning litter boxes. I have tried all litters and have finally found a combination that works. Golden grey is fantastic but too heavy for the boxes. Mix this in with at least 50 percentage golden grey and it’s perfect. I have tried other mixes and other tofus but this is the best combination for us.

Very good

This is a really good. It is very economical. It clumps well and doesn’t leave a slimy residue on the tray like some other natural clumping litters. There is no dust. It only tracks a little, but no further than the mat. There is no urine smell. I don’t like having a scoop to clean, so I use biodegradable poo bags to scoop the clumps and poo. My only complaint is the strong sweet vanilla smell. I would prefer a more natural non food smell, but the litter is so good, it won’t put me off using.
