I've been using this litter for about four years and was always satisfied. Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated significantly: it smells quickly, turns into sawdust fast, and spreads even more around the flat because of it. I'll be looking for an alternative.

I can only say that I am absolutely thrilled. The litter has a lovely wood scent and hardly lets urine sink to the bottom. It’s great to dispose of via the toilet and doesn’t produce any dust at all. If I had known about it earlier, I would have chosen Cat’s Best over Golden Grey, even without the latter’s loss in quality. I’m truly convinced!

The cats have accepted it, but every deposit is overwhelmingly noticeable in terms of smell, and the flakes don't just spread in front of the litter box but everywhere, especially in the carpets and bathroom mats, and are only removed with great effort when vacuuming. Not practical for me!

I am also surprised about it being so highly rated. All its benefits are outweigh by the fact that it just traces all over the house. I thought that being more coarse than worlds best, will trace less, but it is just the opposite. With worlds best, we had to ho0ver every 2-3 days, now we need to do it 2-3 times a day. It is cheaper than worlds best, but actually somehow you waste more when cleaning, so not really good for me.

I don't think the perfect cat litter exists; there's always a catch somewhere. My three furry friends and I are more than satisfied with Cat's Best. It smells neutral and quickly binds odours. It forms nice clumps. You can dispose of it in the household toilet and throw the rest into the organic waste bin when you change the litter. We manage to make the 40-litre pack last almost three months. The only downside is that it sticks to their paws, and my indoor tigers love spreading the litter all over the flat. But let's be honest, cleaning is something you have to do anyway. We've found our litter and are doing something good for the environment too! :)

The smell is good, it has a slightly woody scent in the toilet, which is why I’m buying a different one this time. The yield is good, as is the odour control. However, the clumps often fall apart when cleaning. And the litter ends up all over the flat, which really bothers me. But overall, it’s not bad—I’ve had worse.

Perfect! Our cats love it. It absorbs quickly, forms a large clump, and flushes down the toilet effortlessly. The cat litter has no smell and quickly absorbs unpleasant odours. We are very satisfied.

I’ve tried all kinds of litter, but I was never 100% satisfied because the consumption was high and that powdery scent really bothered me. This litter is fantastic. Thankfully, my two cats accepted it straight away, it controls odour, clumps really well, and will hopefully last longer than other litters. I’ve finally found the perfect litter for us!

We’ve tested various types of litter – all with a pleasant fragrance – but it was exactly the fragrance that made the smell in the room worse when the cat litter box was used. This is absolutely not the case with Cat's Best Öko Plus. It’s virtually odourless, and if there is any scent, it’s a pleasant and natural wood smell. Even during use, it’s almost dust-free, and the coarse crumbs in front of the litter box are quickly swept away! There’s no room for improvement here – hopefully, it stays this way! Plus, it’s worth the money because it’s very economical!

Very pleasant litter, at least for us as the staff! It’s really lightweight and doesn’t create dust! Odours are very well contained, and disposing of it via the toilet is convenient. BUT for us, it sticks to the paws and gets spread around the flat a bit (though not much). Because it’s so lightweight, our youngest sinks into it and was very, very sceptical! Now we just don’t fill it as high – problem solved. It could also clump a bit better.

Well all I can say is this cat litter is amazing! I can't even believe I am actually so excited about a cat litter lol! I have been wasting my money on supermarket litter for the past 6 months. I have tried all of them and even the clumping ones just turn into a horrible sticky mess! I was cleaning the whole litter out every other day and I was getting really fed up of doing it. So I looked on zooplus and read the reviews thinking yea yea it's not going to be as good as everyone says and boy was I wrong! This litter actually does clump into perfectly round balls that don't stick to the bottom of the tray! They are so easy to take out with a cat spade and has made cleaning the cat litter a lot less stressful. I put in one batch of litter nearly 2 weeks ago and I haven't had to change the whole thing at all! I just scoop the poop and wee each day and top up if needed. At this rate the 20L bag of litter is going to last us months! and that's with 2 kittens! Very very pleased!!

Unfortunately, I’ve also had to notice that the quality is no longer as good as it used to be; the litter doesn’t clump properly anymore – it would be interesting to know why that is. Additionally, it’s no fun, especially with multiple pets, having to vacuum up the granules all over the house.

The cat litter has gotten much worse recently; it no longer clumps but instead falls apart into small lumps. It’s also very dusty, and my cats come out of the litter box looking like they’ve been powdered and often have to sneeze.

The litter was immediately accepted by our tomcat! It binds odours really well, and the clumping is flawless. The best part is disposing of it via the toilet – cleaning up is super quick that way!

I am very disappointed with the last two deliveries from CBÖP and will be looking for an alternative. It no longer clumps properly, i.e. the clumps fall apart, a lot of litter sticks to the fur and gets carried out. Unfortunately...

My last two 40-litre bags were just dusty and powdery – it’s never been this bad before! Using them is almost unreasonable! Better quality control would be appropriate!

I've been using this litter for many years because it was safe for kittens, which I had back then. Unfortunately, I've noticed recently that the quality keeps getting worse... With the last delivery, I'd had enough; it was never this bad before! If I constantly have to replace it, it's too expensive for me, and I'll start looking for cheaper alternatives. I used to get much more use out of one bag! This time, the litter in the large bag was incredibly dusty, and the litter was almost entirely dust—everything had crumbled! It looked as if someone had just swept up the leftovers! The small bag, on the other hand, was flawless, for whatever reason... Sadly, it's often the case that quality keeps being downgraded—just like with pet food! It's as if the motto is, "Once people buy it, they'll keep buying it anyway." I still don't know what I'll switch to now, especially since the litter needs to be lightweight. It's a shame you can never stick with one product and have the quality STAY consistent!

From the very beginning, we've been impressed – excellent clumping, no smell, no dust, and the price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. We tried Catsan once and never again; we nearly coughed our lungs out because of the dust!

I have no idea why this is rated so highly?? I've used lots of other litter in the past and this is the worst by far. It doesn't clump as well as other clumping litter but worst of all, the tracking is awful. Its sooo messy, all the floors in my flat are covered in litter from the tracking eventhough I use a special mat to capture the litter. It gets messy within hours of changing the litter and I just find myself cleaning the mess constantly. The litter also doesn't do a great job of masking the smells. Will go back to my previous litter I'm afraid.

I'm not sure how this rates so highly in my opinion. While this litter does clump well it didn't mask or absorbed the smells as well as the wood based pellets I had previously. The tracking on this is also terrible even with the use of a hooded tray and a mat to catch any extra bits that might have got caught in my cat's paws. I won't be buying this again I'm afraid.
