It tracks everywhere
Just awful. It tracks all over the house. If you can bear that, it does clump well.

Well....
I’ve been using CBÖP for many years. Up until three months ago, I had two cats and two litter boxes. Now I have four cats and four litter boxes. As I said, I’ve used it for a very long time and was very satisfied. Our little tigers also liked using the litter. However, I’ve now switched for the following reasons:
1. The inconsistent quality. Especially recently, CBÖP hasn’t been clumping well, so when scooping out the urine clumps, they crumble, smear, and make a total mess of the scoop. As a result, more and more tiny bits of urine clumps are left behind in the litter box after each cleaning. Of course, I could endlessly sift through it, but who wants to do that? When I contacted the manufacturer, they asked me to send 400g of unused litter from the problematic bag. Unfortunately, I always use up the bags completely right away.
2. The unbearable “beach effect.” We live on two levels, with all the litter boxes downstairs. Yet, there’s litter all over the house—on the sofa, and even upstairs in the bed. I DON’T have long-haired cats. It was driving us absolutely mad. I’m quite particular about cleanliness in the house, so I vacuum roughly every two days. Still, after every trip to the litter box, there were crumbs underfoot. Given the relatively high price of this litter, I expected more, so I’ve now switched to a different product.

Unfortunately disappointed
Because of the good reviews, I wanted to try this litter. Unfortunately, it doesn’t form proper clumps and they fall apart immediately when I try to scoop them up. Additionally, the litter spreads absolutely everywhere in the flat. My cat didn’t even want to use the litter box anymore.
The only positive is that it binds odours very well and can be disposed of via the toilet.

Super Bedding
I'm totally thrilled. Clumps perfectly, doesn't smell unpleasant, and my cats like it. I'll only buy this litter from now on.

Very good
My breeder recommended it to me years ago because it's pure natural. I won't use any other litter in my home anymore as it's very pleasant for the human nose and for cat paws.

failed
The litter gets stuck in the fur of my two Maine Coons and ends up all over the flat, making everything dirty (including the cat itself). On top of that, my cat refuses to use the litter and has been peeing in the bathtub for a few days now (she's never done that before!!). Unfortunately, the litter is a clear fail for me.

Truly the best
I was thrilled from the moment I first opened the bag. Wood – it smelled so wonderfully of wood. The litter also feels pleasant to the touch, perfect for the kitty. Thanks to its really strong absorbency, you can remove the clumps from the litter box after just 30 seconds without them crumbling. Odour-binding is what I’m experiencing here: you smell nothing. You come home and don’t smell a cat. Even after the big business. I’m glad someone gave me the tip c:

Terrible
I wanted to try out a new cat litter based on research I did online and here.
The one I usually use has been getting worse in quality and has become so dusty.
My cats (three indoor cats) aren’t picky and accept anything.
Even friends and relatives always said that you couldn’t smell in any way that we have cats at home.
But now it stinks.
This litter has really disappointed me:
- It’s even dustier than my old one.
- It has a strong smell of its own, and when the cats do their business, it’s downright pungent.
- There’s a fine layer of sawdust-like dust everywhere.
- The litter is unfortunately scattered all over the apartment (105m²).
- It doesn’t really clump.
- The only good thing is that you can dispose of it in the toilet; otherwise, I’d have to go out to the bin in the middle of the night.
- It’s not more economical either; I only managed two weeks with 9kg, whereas with my old litter, I’d get about 4–5 weeks out of 9kg.
So for me, this was a total flop!
Maybe it’s better suited for people who aren’t sensitive to smells and have just one cat that possibly goes outside.

Very good
The litter smells good, is lightweight, really low-odour, and clumps well. It’s quick and easy to dispose of via the toilet. Unfortunately, it’s not so easy to remove from my fluffy bathroom rug – hence one star less. However, the advantages outweigh this, so I’ll definitely be ordering it again.

Catsbest ÖkoStreu
I can partially agree with these opinions. The first bag was a 10-litre bag. It was a top-notch product. It was for trying out. I’d say this product falls apart on its own when it comes to the quantity. 40 litres is a disaster, 20 litres is perfect. I also had issues with the mess and odours with the 40-litre bag. I’ve gone back to the 20-litre bag, and everything is fine again.

Has pros and cons
Advantages: it's nice and lightweight, clumps well, is very economical, and composts wonderfully.
Disadvantages: it spreads quickly throughout the house if you're not constantly following up with a broom.
With five cats, the pros and cons multiply by five.

Best litter
We've tried a lot of different types of litter before eventually coming across Cat's Best. We'd read a lot of good things about it. It has a pleasant wood scent, only creates a bit of dust when pouring it in, but after that, it's wonderfully low-dust. Our cat digs in it like crazy and seems to really enjoy it. It clumps very well (give about 5 minutes for urine to bind) and hardly lets any odour through. We've been using it for about 2 years now and are happy to stick with it! Definitely recommended!

Best cat litter for years
I've been using this litter for years, and its pleasant scent is already convincing. It hardly produces any dust, and the cat loves it. She doesn't breathe in fine dust, and I don't have any fine dust in the bathroom either. She also doesn't scatter many granules when leaving the litter box. It's great that it's very economical and easy to dispose of. I always happily recommend it and receive positive feedback. Fantastic product!

Best cat litter
We've been using it for a very long time now, occasionally trying something new, but we always come back to Cat's Best Öko.
It lasts a long time, doesn't smell unpleasant – simply great!

Nice clumping litter
It's a great light litter not hard under cats paws Clumps together nicely when cat has had a wee so easy to remove. Takes away any smells. I'm glad I've finally found a litter she will use when needed no more waking me up early mornings to go out.

Good litter for environmentally conscious cat owners
I think the litter is fine considering it's biodegradable. However, in comparison, I – and my two cats – find the "normal" clumping litter better.

Best odour control!
After a long and disappointing journey trying out even the most expensive cat litter brands based on various recommendations, I ended up with this product. Although the material, being so lightweight, tends to stick a bit to the long fur of my Persian cat, meaning I have to vacuum more often, the odour control—which is what really matters to us in our living spaces—is absolutely unbeatable! On top of that, the litter is affordable and environmentally high-quality: the best product on the market for us!

Never using another litter again!!
I've tried a few types of litter before, but Cat's Best is absolutely amazing. Especially with our long-haired tomcat, it works a bit faster than clay or bentonite litter. The clumping and odour control are incredible, and the fact that you can simply toss it into the toilet makes cleaning the litter box a breeze. On top of that, it's much lighter than other litters – you can move the litter box with just one finger. Absolutely top-notch!!

the best cat litter yet
I have been using this litter for my cat for the past few months, it clumps great, and covers odours: also its brilliant especially in the bad weather, no trudging to the dustbin with waste, just a quick flush after first breaking up the clumps and its gone no problems. Yes it does track a bit but no worse than any other. Wouldn't buy anything else now, and the cat loves it.
