Customers appreciate this cat litter for its effective clumping and odour control, making it a long-time favorite for many. However, recent changes in formula have led to dissatisfaction, with complaints about reduced clumping, increased dust, and tracking issues. Despite these negatives, some users still find it economical and environmentally friendly, praising its lightweight nature and absorbency. Overall, while it has its drawbacks, the litter remains a popular choice for its original benefits.

Good, long-lasting, pleasantly scented eco-litter
Advantages: With four litter boxes, you no longer risk breaking your back when changing the litter; the smell is very pleasant (smells like "forest"); the cats accepted it immediately; very economical; odour-binding; almost dust-free (except when you get to the bottom of the bag – keyword "sawdust"); clumping (depending on the amount of urine deposited!). "Disadvantages": scatters around the flat just like other litter; with a small amount of urine, there’s little to no clumping. A good product!

Quality is getting worse and worse.
It clumps very well, but as soon as you try to carefully remove the clumps with the scoop, they fall apart into small pieces. It's impossible to remove the tiny clumps, so the litter tray develops an unpleasant smell in no time, and you have to refill it. For that, I find it far too expensive. I tested the clumping litter from Greenwoods and was instantly impressed. It looks exactly like Cat's Best, but the clumps don’t fall apart. I can only recommend it!!!!!!!

The best
For me, this is the absolute best litter – economical, odour-binding, lightweight, can go in the organic waste bin, and the base filling truly lasts at least four to six weeks, which justifies the slightly higher price. I used it before but switched to a different litter a year ago when we got a kitten, as I was worried the little one might eat the Cats Best. What followed was an odyssey through many cat litter brands. Now I’m back to Cats Best, and everyone is happy – my tomcat was so thrilled he even rolled around in it. The only criticism would be that the stuff gets spread around the house, but all litters do that. There’s no perfect solution for this yet, so no points deducted.

Gone from best to worst!
I recently reviewed this product as amazing! I breed bengals and so I need a high performance cat litter. I have used this product for about 8 years now but.............
The material used now has completely changed, it doesn't clump together anymore and smells awful, the texture of it has changed and a lot darker. I'm extremely annoyed about it. After 8 plus years of my custom I will no longer be buying it!!! Sort it out cats best!!! Why change a perfect product?

Eco Cat Litter
I really liked the product for several reasons:
1. Good odour control,
2. Good moisture absorption,
3. Longer usage time thanks to smaller portions of litter,
4. The litter doesn’t get spread around the house by the cats’ paws.
All in all, I’m very satisfied with the product.

Really is the Best!
My elderly cat prefers this litter to the pellets she was on before - the flakes are much softer, and they clump well, making for easy cleaning. I've found the litter to last longer than the previous brand I was using (Applaws) and no smell issues.

Cat's favourite
My cat loves this and will come in from the garden to use the litter tray because she prefers it!

Best cat litter
No matter how often I cleaned the cat litter box—2-3 times a day—the smell of the litter box was always there when you entered the flat. Not anymore. I'm thrilled and now only use the other litter on the balcony toilet because of the humidity.

Best litter/No smell in the house
The very best thing first: Recently, I had a new colleague over at my house, and she immediately said, "It doesn't smell like cat in here at all." She knew I had a cat.
My Motsy took to the litter right from day one. She loves digging around extensively and creating a "beach" for me. It clumps well. Unfortunately, it ends up all over the house, but we live with that if the cat is happy.
Of course, it smells when she's just been to the loo and hasn't buried it properly. But I guess that's the case with all litter boxes. Just crack open a window, and the smell disappears quickly.

Quality fluctuations disappoint!
This cat litter used to be of great quality. Unfortunately, you can no longer rely on it. The clumps have started falling apart recently, and the litter tray gets dirty much faster than before. Really a shame!

Absolutely Brilliant
You can actually flush this stuff down the toilet (obviously not the whole pack at once). And it’s lightweight. So no more lugging heavy clay-concrete with cat poo to the rubbish tip. It doesn’t smell, and there’s no stink in the flat. So: Absolutely brilliant! Definitely give it a try.

Unfortunately, it spreads throughout the entire house.
Clumps well, has a pleasant smell, and doesn’t create dust, but the litter is so light that it ends up scattered all over the house.

Correction of my review from 22/02/2017
Unfortunately, I have to revise my review from 22/02/17, as the last pack of Cat's Best is simply dreadful. The granules mostly disintegrate, and at the bottom of the litter box, there's no cat litter but cat dust. The odour control is also very poor, and it takes a very long time for the bathroom to stop smelling after the litter box has been used.
I didn’t want to believe it and thought it was just complainers exaggerating. But unfortunately, I’ve been proven wrong. It would be a shame if I have to switch brands too.

The best litter ever
I've been using this litter for my cat from the very beginning. It was recommended to me by the breeder, and we've been very satisfied for the past three years. It binds odours really well, and I don't have to lug rubbish bags full of litter around since it can be disposed of directly via the toilet. My cat loves digging in it. Happy cat, happy owner.
Admittedly, it doesn't clump perfectly, but that doesn't bother me. Over time, you develop a technique to remove almost all the clumps.
I mix it with a bit of Cats Best Plus pellets, and as a result, we hardly have any litter scattered around the cat litter box.

Tracks everywhere
I tried to love it and it does seem to contain odours and clumps well but it tracks absolutely everywhere. It is so lightweight that one of my kittens just kicks it out the tray when covering up what he has done. I will try a different one with less tracking problems

This one and no other anymore
Before my sister introduced me to this litter, my furry friends tested quite a few different ones. Either it smelled too strong, didn’t cover odours at all, felt unpleasant on their paws, or something similar. We've now been using it for over two years, and it works perfectly without any issues. It’s sustainable, odour-binding, paw-friendly, lighter than some stone-based litters, and, most importantly, it can be flushed down the toilet! From all of us, it gets a big thumbs (or paws) up!

Unfortunately, not for us.
It’s actually good at neutralising odours and quite economical. However, an absolute no-go is that the entire flat gets dirty because the litter ends up everywhere. We have three indoor cats, and the litter is just all over the place. First, the cats carry some of it around, and then it sticks to the kids’ socks. A NIGHTMARE! Unfortunately, it’s absolutely not for us.

My cat is unfortunately highly allergic.
Hello,
I spent a long time looking for clumping litter that I could finally dispose of in the organic waste bin.
Then, after four weeks, my cat started licking herself raw and bald. After many examinations (at first we thought it was a food allergy), we found out that she is unfortunately extremely allergic to this litter. So, unfortunately, we can no longer use it...

Initially good
Unfortunately, the quality has really gone downhill, such a shame! A 40L bag now contains a lot of dust, and the clumps fall apart. I've switched to Golden Grey Master now (a dream litter).
