No smell (unless the cat missed out on covering the No2), and the urine lumps up nicely. Just top up when there's too little left in the tray! Yay!

We used this litter for years... Unfortunately, the quality is no longer as good... it doesn’t clump properly anymore, the clumps keep falling apart, which means it’s not as efficient since you end up removing more from the litter box... Odours are also no longer contained. We’ve decided to switch to a different litter; Cats Best only scores points now when it comes to disposal. However, for the price, that’s just not enough for me.

I’ve been using this litter for 20 years. It absorbs odours the best, clumps the best, and because of these qualities, it’s not more expensive than comparatively cheaper products, which end up being used up much faster.

Been using this for years and never a problem until the last bag arrived. Doesn't clump anymore and you end up with a mess everywhere, this also increases waste of unused litter to just get the broken clumps outs. If its not broken don't fix it!

This has changed. The latest lot seems two toned, and nothing like the last lot. I have severe wastage, it doesn't "clump" into snowballs like previously. It just separates and means I waste a lot. No way does it last as long. I've already had to top up under a week due to wastage. I don't feel the cat likes to use it anymore and will have to seek out another brand now.

We started using this back when our vet recommended it for our two kittens, as they could safely swallow the granules of the litter during their grooming routine. Two years ago, the quality was slightly better (it seems a lot of powdery litter has been mixed in now), and it didn’t create as much dust when they scratched around. Both cats took to it well, and odours are almost immediately neutralised.

I've been using this litter for several years now. Unfortunately, the quality has dropped significantly lately. It no longer clumps as well and produces a lot of dust. I'll be switching to a different litter now.

We mainly chose this cat litter because it can be disposed of in the toilet or on the compost heap. Our tomcats have no issue with the grain size, but unfortunately, they do spread the litter around the house – this seems unavoidable when it gets stuck between their toes. The clumps don’t smell and can almost always be removed easily, though some do crumble if you don’t catch them properly straight away. We’re very satisfied.

It used to be so much better - now the cat litter is spread all over the flat, and when the cat walks around, there's still a lot of litter stuck under its paws. Looks like I'll have to switch to a different litter, such a shame.............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This looks and acts exactly as cheap wooden pellets purchased in B&M for less than a third of the price. Feel I’ve been mis-sold. Certainly won’t be buying this again. Does not clump, just goes into sawdust Which you can’t seperate from the pellets. Wasteful.

this cat litter has good clumping capability but I would never purchase this product again as it tracks all over the house and on every surface .Cheaper wood alternatives are better

The new formula is much better than the old one; there are proper solid clumps that can be removed very easily.

After almost 2 years with this litter, I’m now going to switch. The clumps fall apart when cleaning the cat loo, I have litter scattered in every room despite having a hairless cat, and it doesn’t neutralise odours. Such a shame.

The clumping litter is very lightweight and odourless, which initially convinced me. It clumps very well, which is also a positive aspect. However, when it comes to liquid waste, it easily turns into a clay-like mass that sticks to the paws of my two little darlings. They noticed this and stopped using the litter box altogether. Unfortunately, it didn’t win me over, so I’ll have to try a new one.

This was my first litter, chosen for its eco-friendly aspect and the convenience of disposal in the toilet. + My cats accepted it straight away. +- Personally, I didn’t like the wooden smell, especially when mixed with urine. - The cats spread residue around the house. +- Odour control is satisfactory with cleaning 1-2 times daily. -- Clumping is poor, mostly crumbles apart. - Value for money.

With Cats Best Öko Plus, not only has the packaging been changed, but the product itself has also been altered. The new cat litter no longer clumps properly but instead falls apart when scooped out. This results in lots of small remnants that are difficult to remove from the litter tray. I won’t be buying it again.

Flushes down the toilet without any issues.

I was convinced by this litter for years until the quality deteriorated. When scooping, the clumps fall apart, and you have to painstakingly remove everything around them as well, which leads to drastically higher consumption. The litter also gets spread around the flat, though I would have tolerated that.
