Price-performance ratio is good.
We love using this litter; it doesn’t smell, clumps by far the best, and is easy to remove. Considering it costs €18 and lasts me a good 2.5 months with 40 litres, even though it’s cleaned every day, it’s really great and economical. There’s just one downside: on a black stone floor, you can see every grain that falls outside the tray, and it does tend to stick to paws sometimes. But despite that one drawback, it’s simply brilliant. THANK YOU!

Never again construction site in the flat
I've tried quite a few clumping litters, and I find this product to be the best. I foster cats on rotation from the animal welfare organisation, and none of the cats have had any issues with this litter. Nothing sticks to their paws, and nothing gets spread around the flat. With other litters, my flat used to look like a construction site with cement scattered everywhere. Plus, the granules don't feel as hard or sharp-edged. It clumps really well, there's no odour, and it produces very little dust—much less than other litters. It lasts twice as long as other litters too. I wouldn't buy any other litter anymore.

So far, the best cat litter
This cat litter is the best I’ve used in the last 30 years.
Much more pleasant in terms of smell, colour, much softer and very lightweight. It’s also much easier to remove from the litter tray, as it doesn’t stick to the tray or crumble when wet like other clumping litters. Really very good! Definitely worth trying!

It's alright.
The litter is really great in terms of yield and clumping. Unfortunately, my Persians carry the granules all over the house and also have a lot stuck to their tails. Therefore, it’s not recommended for long-haired cats.

doesn't smell or clump
I was very disappointed. Of course, it’s a very cheap litter, but if I have to clean the litter box every two days and everything is stuck together and smells, I’d rather spend a bit more money and get a proper litter. I won’t be buying it again.

Overall good.
We usually use Golden Grey Master, but last time we were late in ordering more, so I quickly picked up 10 kg of this variety from the shop around the corner. We're quite satisfied—clumping and absorbency are good, but the odour control leaves a little to be desired. Golden Grey Master is definitely better in that regard. On the other hand, Cat's Best produces less dust. But if you're looking for a purely eco-friendly litter, this one is an excellent choice.

Great for rabbits!
I have four rabbits and have already tried several types of bedding, but I’m super satisfied with this one. I’ve used straw pellets before, but unfortunately, they were quite dusty and not very absorbent. I was fairly happy with the hemp pellets, but I didn’t like the way they looked, as they always seemed dirty to me. Then I tried this one, and I’m sticking with it. It produces ZERO dust, looks great, and is super absorbent. You can’t smell ANYTHING! And that’s with four little fluffballs!!! Highly recommended for rabbits, though it might be a bit too hard on the feet for other rodents!

Long-lasting
My two Orientals easily get through 4 months with one bag (40 l). That’s less than £2.50 per month per cat!!! The litter tray is sifted through every day and only needs to be completely emptied after 2 weeks due to odour build-up. Unfortunately, the little kitty doesn’t like to bury her poo in it, but the tomcat takes care of that for her. The owner thinks the crumbs spread more, but that’s not true. You just notice it more because of the light colour, and it doesn’t disappear as quickly into the depths of the carpet as the finer clumping litter we used before. The lightweight and minimal dust are fantastic. However, there are significant DIFFERENCES between the batches: sometimes it’s very fine, and other times quite coarse. Why is that?

Incomprehensible
Cat's Best really is the "best" when it comes to odour control, absorbency, and efficiency. The only downside: it spreads around the house more than conventional litters. I can't understand the complaints about smells and poor clumping. That might be down to how it's used: a litter tray should be cleaned of the animals' waste twice in 24 hours, and you should always have one more tray than the number of cats in the house. If you do that, it works perfectly!

Suction, suction, suction...
I am very satisfied with the cat litter, and our little darling is too, of course. It clumps well and doesn’t stink. The only slightly annoying thing is that you have to vacuum a lot because the stuff flies everywhere. For that reason, only 3 stars.
I’ll still keep buying it, though, as the mess and vacuuming don’t bother me. ;)

... for us ONLY eco plus from now on!
Hello zooplus customers,
I’ve been using this litter for over a year now and I’m completely satisfied. I have 4 cats and 3 large Gimpet litter boxes. I’ve ordered quite a few bags so far and have never found that the litter didn’t clump. I clean the cats’ toilet several times a day and can always remove good clumps, except for the business of one of my cats who is so enthusiastic about digging that she practically chops up the freshly formed clump... *laugh*.
The fact that the litter sticks to the bottom when the litter in the box starts to run low happens with other clumping litter products as well. On the other hand, this also depends on the design of the litter box. That’s why I recommend getting the Gimpet box (also available here), because the "Öko Plus" comes off perfectly in it due to its smooth surface!
I’ve also never noticed that this litter *dusts excessively*. Quite the opposite, bentonite litter produces significantly more dust and has triggered sneezing fits, both for me and two of my cats. I’ve tested different types of litter and boxes, putting a different litter in each box... and the result was that Öko Plus was mostly used, and oddly enough, the big business was only done in Öko Plus.
Furthermore, I’ve never noticed that the box smelled unpleasant. Of course, I understand that over time you might not notice the smell or perceive it as unpleasant anymore, but this has been confirmed to me repeatedly by various visitors and friends when I’ve asked them: "It doesn’t smell!"
So WE can only warmly recommend Cat’s Best Öko Plus litter... 5*****

Well...
I won’t be buying this "clumping" litter again. It doesn’t smell, but it’s really dusty... Let’s see what else they have to offer here.

sticks to the paws
The litter itself isn’t bad at all. It clumps REALLY well. Unfortunately, my cats spread the litter all over the flat because the large, soft granules stick to their paws. For someone who doesn’t mind having to vacuum or sweep twice a day, it’s definitely worth recommending.

Fine, except for...
...the sticking of urine clumps to the bottom of the litter tray and the partially inadequate absorption of urine. I haven’t figured out yet why it sometimes doesn’t absorb.

Doesn't clump and doesn't stink!
I bought this litter for the first time. Never again! Clumping? What a joke. Wobbly lumps that fall apart immediately and are a real hassle to remove. And if your cat has diarrhoea, this litter is an absolute disaster. It doesn’t absorb anything, no matter how well it’s buried.
I liked that the litter is made from plant fibres and that it’s lightweight. But that alone isn’t enough. I can’t understand why this litter is so highly praised.

Unfortunately, just mediocre!
As a long-time satisfied user of Extreme Classic, I was tempted to give CBÖP a try due to the special offer. Unfortunately, I can't say I'm impressed with this litter. It gets points from me for its weight and ecological recyclability, but the disadvantages outweigh the benefits. For long-haired cats, it's simply a no-go—it sticks to their fur, and for the first time, I've found litter crumbs elsewhere in the house, not just where the litter boxes are. Around the litter boxes, there are noticeably more shavings compared to the occasional crumbs from EC. The clumping behaviour is okay, but the litter isn't as easy to sift through with the scoop as EC. Whether the house smells like sawdust or baby powder is, of course, a matter of personal preference. ;-) My cats still prefer the litter box filled with EC. Conclusion: I'm going back to the tried and tested.

Not as great anymore
CBÖP has always been my go-to litter, but lately, it’s been terribly dusty. My tomcat loves digging, and after two weeks, half the litter box is full of wood dust, which I don’t find great.
My cat doesn’t like it much either. She quickly does her business and leaves without bothering to cover it up. Odour control and clumping are excellent, but it spreads all over the flat.
I’ve now switched to another litter that’s just as efficient, and my two seem to love it.

Hangs perfectly on long fur...
The litter is actually great in terms of usage, and the absorbency is good too, if only my two tigers didn’t have long hair. Everything gets stuck and, because it’s so lightweight, ends up being spread around the house.

No dust
I switched my tomcat from Catsan after reading some awful things about bentonite, which also applied to my cat regarding the dust. Naturally, he wasn’t happy about it at first. He complained a lot. So I started mixing it and gradually reduced the amount of Catsan in the litter box. By now, he has (had to) accept it – for the sake of his own health. It’s great to use, clumps well, and doesn’t smell. However, I always clean the litter box immediately and make sure to thoroughly clean everything every 8 to 14 days. Only the good litter is used, and it’s either refilled or completely replaced. After all, we wouldn’t want to use a dirty toilet ourselves!!!

Fast, absolute satisfaction
My kitty and I are very happy with this litter! It clumps like no other and doesn’t smell anymore.
The only problem is that I have to vacuum every day. But what wouldn’t you do for a house tiger...
