Based on the positive reviews, I bought Öko Best, but I’m a bit disappointed. The absorbency is indeed very good, but the litter crumbles quite a lot when my furry friend has been in the litter box, and there are wood shavings scattered everywhere. As a result, I have to vacuum around the litter box every day, which wasn’t the case with my previous litter. On a positive note: the price-performance ratio is good.

We've been using this litter for a month now, and at first, I was quite sceptical because I'd often read here that the litter gets carried out on the fur... Okay, that's true, but I don't find it as bad as with fine-grained litter. Our flat looks much better compared to when we used the fine-grained one. It's incredibly economical. So, we and the cats are absolutely satisfied.

I’m thrilled because this litter meets my eco-friendly standards 100%. A nice side effect is that the litter is so soft it doesn’t scratch my parquet floor when some of it ends up outside the bathroom. And my cat accepted it straight away! It’s also very economical, lightweight, and odourless. My verdict: Absolutely recommendable!!!

With four big tomcats, a lot of litter piles up because they really do their business. I think the bin men were pretty annoyed when they had to empty our bin. But now everything is fine again... The litter is absolutely brilliant. At first, I was worried whether they'd accept it, but as soon as I set up the toilet, they all went in one after the other to "water" it. Really great. No unpleasant odours and excellent clumping. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you... say Maxx, Muffi, Mörtel, and Mo.

We've tested quite a few cat litters already, and we have to say we're really happy with this one. The clumping works perfectly (as long as you use enough litter). It's very economical and super easy to handle. If you place a mat in front of the litter box, your furry friend's paws will stay free of litter afterwards!

So far, we’re most satisfied with this litter. It doesn’t have that overpowering baby powder smell (which, combined with urine or faeces, is just plain disgusting). Plus, it clumps well, doesn’t make the bin bag so heavy that you can barely lift it, and it spreads less around the flat compared to other litters. We’ve tried quite a few by now and will be sticking with this one.

Super litter! It's very economical, doesn't smell, doesn't create too much dust, and clumps really well. I only have to top it up about every 2 weeks and completely empty the toilets at most (!) every 3 months.

After being very happy with the classic clumping litter i wanted to try this one as the other is very dusty however i was not prepared for the mess it's been causing it's everywhere my cat's are not great diggers but this litter dosent suit us, i find it really hard to get the clumps out and i can still smell the litter odores good for new kittens but not for long term use,

Crumbles all over the flat, smells strongly of sawdust, and doesn’t clump properly.

Odour control is excellent. Longevity is excellent. Acceptance is excellent. However, I do make sure to fill it at least 10 cm high so that nothing seeps through (I use a deep plastic tray as a litter box). This way, with two cats and two litter boxes, I only need to top it up every two weeks (!). It does produce a bit more dust than other litters, though.

Have had indoor cats for many years and tried nearly every litter. Oko Plus is by far the most effective litter around and I wouldnt use any other litter now. Absolutely no amonia smell, clumps superbly and trays are very easy to keep clean.

This litter is by far the best of all the ones I've tried so far. It produces the least dust, smells pleasant, and most importantly, it clumps really well. I can only recommend it.

I'm a huge fan of this litter... no more annoying, smelly disposal... I have a British Shorthair and a British Longhair tomcat, and both took to it straight away... I also don't mind the woody smell... Regarding the distribution of clumps, I can only say you need the right mat, or you can place a square tray in front of it that the cat has to pass through first... works perfectly... just give it a try... When it comes to mats, make sure they have nubs or grooves so the mat catches the litter. Best regards!

Super, from the cat litter tray, which is right next to our toilet, straight into it, and the rest goes onto the compost. Brilliant eco solution! Clumps are great! Kitty’s happy, and so am I!!!

Low dust, very economical, smells pleasantly of wood and is guaranteed to be great for many human and animal allergy sufferers. Disposal via the compost bin or toilet is hassle-free. Two of our litter trays are in the bathtub, and any scattered litter can be easily rinsed away without clogging the pipes, as it breaks down into ultra-fine particles. The only downside: crumbs get spread all over the flat despite using a mat. But with four cats and a dog, I have to sweep and vacuum daily anyway, so it doesn’t really matter...

After reading so many good things about it, I thought I’d give this litter a try as well. Unfortunately, I have to say I’m anything but satisfied. In my opinion, it creates less mess than the litter I’ve used before, but: The clumping is rather poor, the tray is extremely difficult to clean, and above all, it smells absolutely awful. I think I’ll stick to using Catsan instead.

A great litter. Absorbs well, doesn’t smell, and is easy to dispose of. However, it’s completely unsuitable for our Persian cat, as the litter sticks to his fur and gets scattered all over the flat. I’ll now try a litter specifically for long-haired cats.

After trying many other types of cat litter, I’ve been using Cats Öko Plus for 3 years now, and I’m so satisfied with it that I can only praise it.

I’ve tried loads of different types of litter, but this is the best of them all, and I’m sticking with it! The main reason I decided to give it a go was for ecological reasons. It’s brilliant for disposing of in the toilet (of course, only once it’s clumped), it’s super lightweight and has a coarse texture. Everything stays on the mat in front of the litter box. No more tracking it all over the flat. My two little darlings took to it straight away. It clumps amazingly well! The only thing I had to find a solution for was the smell. When my little one used it for the first time and had diarrhoea, the whole flat stank. The litter has a woody smell of its own, and combined with the poo *phew*—awful. But at first, I tried it without the Multi-Fresh odour neutraliser that I usually use, as I’ve yet to find a litter that truly binds odours well. The odour neutraliser is fantastic (I ordered it here on Zooplus), and together with the litter, it’s simply brilliant and unbeatable for me. It’s really very economical. I’m thrilled! Absolutely recommendable, especially for the price.
