Simply brilliant
I think this cat litter is simply perfect. It clumps well, absorbs a lot of liquid, binds odours effectively, is easy to sift through, only produces a moderate amount of dust, and our tomcat accepted it straight away. Since it’s compostable, it also reduces waste. What more could you want?

Simply brilliant
Originally, we only bought Öko Best because it could be disposed of via the toilet. It clumps really well, is extremely efficient, and is very well accepted. We think it neither smells good nor bad; it has almost no odour of its own. Although the comments here range from "it stinks" to "pleasant forest and wood scent," we don't notice much of a smell. Everything stays in the litter box, and if anything ends up outside, it's on the litter mat—maybe a tiny crumb here and there. We were genuinely surprised because we had prepared ourselves for a lot of vacuuming in this area. We've spread a really thick layer, about 12 cm, and our two cats love it, so we do too. If the quality stays this good, we'll keep buying it and can recommend it to everyone.

It's a great clumping litter.
I’m absolutely thrilled with this litter. I’ve tried a lot of clumping litter before, but so far I’m very satisfied with this one. It doesn’t smell and is very economical to use.

Switch cat litter
Clumps brilliantly, though you have to put up with the "mess" in front of the toilet. But I don't mind, because a clumping litter that can be disposed of ecologically is top-notch!

Cats and Toms
We've been living with our tomcats for a year now. During this time, I've tried products ranging from expensive to increasingly affordable. None of them came close to Cat's Best. It smells pleasant, clumps easily and well. Pee and poo are now disposed of via the toilet (hopefully the pipes won't end up clogged one day??!!). Alberto and Franko are definitely thrilled with Öko 'Best Plus. Meow Miaow

Cat's Best
We are very pleasantly surprised that this cat litter not only completely neutralises odours but also clumps so well that it can be removed and disposed of without any major hassle.
P.S.: Even our little indoor tiger now only uses the litter tray, so the flowers are spared.... ;-)

Long-lasting but stinks
Wanted to try something different, and since it was on offer, I thought I'd give it a go.
It's very economical and clumps well, but when it gets spread all over the flat and smells really strange and unpleasant, that's not exactly the point, is it?
It's a shame, really – I think it's good otherwise, but I only have a two-room flat, and the smell is everywhere.
I won't be buying it again!

I'm thrilled...
I’m really impressed with this litter. It smells very pleasant, clumps really well, is very economical to use, and our Garfield was absolutely thrilled with it. And what’s truly brilliant is just opening the toilet and flushing away Garfield’s leftovers… It’s really that simple now.

Actually good, but...
The advantages of the litter are its light weight (as opposed to clay litter), it clumps very well, is long-lasting, doesn’t smell, and is . The disadvantages are the small granules, which means you have to vacuum the entire flat at least once a day, and it’s quite dusty. If the pellets were a bit larger, it would be almost perfect.

Superb!!
This cat litter is simply brilliant! The clumping is top-notch, and the fact that you can dispose of it in the organic waste bin or even flush it down the toilet is absolutely fantastic!!! Paired with a coarse-mesh litter scoop and odour-binding powder, it's unbeatable! I'm totally thrilled, and when my mum and my neighbour looked after my cats over the weekend, they were so impressed that they switched to it straight away, haha! ;) I can only recommend it to everyone!

Great idea, but hardly used.
The clumping and odour control were excellent, and the fact that you can flush it down the toilet was something we really liked. Unlike other litters, it doesn’t scatter around much, but unfortunately, the litter box filled with this litter was almost completely ignored. Only one of our cats occasionally ventured into it. The other one just sniffed it and moved on to the next litter box. We’ve now filled all the litter boxes with Biokats, and they seem to like that.

Ferrets accept it well
My ferrets are happy with it, so I am too. The smell is quite pleasant.
I’m not giving full marks because the litter scatters a bit easily, but since I keep the animals outside, it’s not a big deal for me. In a flat, I can imagine it being a bit annoying.

Seems to divide opinions :-)
Apparently, this litter seems to have either true fans or complete haters. We and our cat definitely count ourselves among the fans. I've tried many types of litter in my 15 years of keeping cats, and this is the only one I'm truly satisfied with. It's super efficient, doesn't produce dust, is pleasantly soft for sensitive paws, so it doesn't scratch the litter box either, and on top of that, it's environmentally friendly. What more could you (or your cat) want?

Wonderful stuff, but tracks through house very badly.
This is the best litter I've used in 20 years - no smell, economical and FLUSHABLE, but it does track badly, and you need to hoover every day. On the plus side, you never throw any unsoiled litter away, just top it up. It seems expensive, I know, but 40l lasts my 3 indoor cats 8 weeks. £2.50 a week for 3 cats who never go out - wonderful value! I'm going to give Cat's Best a try as a friend tells me it's just as good as Okoplus, but, being in pellet form, hardly tracks at all.

Tidy
Advantage: Really lasts a long time in the litter box, and the clumps are always quickly disposed of (toilet).
Disadvantage: Very dusty, and the area around the litter box never really looks clean. No smell when they pee, but if it's something bigger, you're in for 20 minutes of unpleasant odour.

No, we’re not taking that!
I’d love to say something about the suction power, etc., but our two cats only used the litter box with Cats Öko Best once – and never again after that. Instead, they held it in all day and then headed straight for the bushes in the evening when I let them out.
As a result, it didn’t smell either... ;)
With the two clumps that were there, I was actually surprised by the good clumping ability for a plant-based litter. It didn’t smell either – though I can’t provide any long-term observations here.
By the way, I’ve just refilled the box with Extreme Classic – and both cats were promptly sitting on the toilet... ;)

Good suction power
The suction power is great, and I think the odour control is okay too. The only downside is that with long-haired cats, it really gets carried all over the house – the new pellets are much better in that regard (though unfortunately also more expensive).
I find it very positive that you can dispose of the litter in the toilet or compost... even if you throw it in the household waste, it's much lighter than usual types of litter (which is important for us since our rubbish bins are weighed individually).

Not recommended
I’m very disappointed. I bought this litter because of the good reviews – but unfortunately, I totally fell for it. The litter clumps very poorly, the whole flat is covered in it, and it reeks horribly, like vomit?!!! On top of that, it’s very expensive – I expected something better! I don’t understand how anyone can praise this litter?!

Great litter
Great cat litter, very clean, clumps perfectly, and binds odours really well. With daily removal of clumps, there's no smell coming from the litter box. The only downside – it sticks to the Coonies' paws and ends up being spread all over the flat.
