Cat's Best Original Cat Litter

I bought this cat litter as I have a litter tray in a small warm bathroom and the smell with clay litter was very unpleasant. This litter has stopped odors completely, and being able to flush the cat waste down the toilet is a great advantage too. I think the clumping is perfectly adequate and while the litter does get tracked about just outside of the box, it is easily swept up. If you are fed up with cat smells from your litter tray, then buy this cat litter!

I wish I'd found Cat's Best years ago. I've bought a variety of litters over the past 20 years, but this is the best of all. Initially I was put off buying it because thought it would be more expensive than the litter I was buying for my two kittens previously. I was wrong. It is working out cheaper because its superb clumping ability means it lasts much longer. I ordered a 20 litre bag on 5th January and there's still a bit in the bag. It is also pretty well dust-free, and buying from Zooplus I don't have to lug it home! Yes, it tracks a bit, but so has every other litter I've bought, and it's very easy to sweep up. I certainly wouldn't want to buy anything else now.

I wish I knew about this cat litter earlier! It's great. No smell and my kitten likes it very much. I'll never buy that other smelly stuff again.

I USE THIS LITTER FOR MY THREE INDOOR CATS AND IT IS THEIR FAVORITE AS WELL AS MINE. SIMPLY THE BEST!

I have tried three other types and brands of litter before caving into the reviews and trying Cats Best. I used to choose price over quality, but now I understand that when it comes to cat litter, its best to pay a bit more for a quality litter. Its really absorbant which makes tidying up the tray so easy after my cat has showered on it. Plus, a little goes along way. My only problem now is what to do with the 3 big, half used bags of other branded cat litter I have left. After using Cats best I cant bear to go back to those inferior litters now.

I love it, cats love it, no bad smells, just flushing into the toilet.. just great!! I will never change again..

I was a bit skeptical as I didn't think that a wood based litter wouldn't smell after a while and clump well. 1) It clumps!!! Better than any other cat litter I used before 2) It doesnt smell- i actually had to go check if she had used the litter box as it didnt smell at all! 3) You can flush it down the toilet!!! Very convenient! Only downside is, that it does spread a bit and stick to her paws. Will see how it goes. Considering all the positive things, I think I might not be bothered too much- Wuld recommend!

Brill for flushing down the loo as training cats to use toilet but i dont like the smell much, but other than that..great.. :)

I thought I would give this a try mainly as you can flush it down the loo, oops somehow my daughter managed to actually block the loo and I had to get a coat hanger and help it go down, luckily it did go down but we were extra careful after to flush after each scoop. Its great IF you only have one litter tray and its right near the loo, otherwise you end up walking to and from the loo with scoops of soiled cat litter. So if you want this litter because you want to flush it then get it, its great BUT if youre binning it then Id get the extreme classic as it smells better and doesnt leave litter everywhere.

I thought this litter was more expensive than most - but it really outlasts all the others,so works out far cheaper. It cuts down smells too. There is a bit of scattering but no worse than other litters, big thumbs up.

I have to admit, I was a little sceptical. A plant based (wood looking) cat litter that clumps? I've always prefered the plant/wood based litters as the odour of the tray always seems to be much better absorbed by them. However, the dust that got trampled around the house once the litter started to disintegrate drove me mad. But this one actually does clump (& better than most clay based clumping litters too!) meaning that all the smellies can be removed from the tray with a scoop & flushed down the loo. One week in and the litter tray smells just as fresh as the day it was cleaned out & this litter put in, so I can well believe the claims on the bag that the litter only needs changing every 4-6 weeks. As for the tracking issue that other reviewers have mentioned, I've not noticed that it is any worse than any other litter. So, a big thumbs up from me.

I have tried many cat littes and this one is my absolute favorite..finally the house doesnt smell as bad as it did with the others....it clumps and can easily be flushed down the toilet and of course its all natural..fab product wont need to test out litters anymore

I took a chance on this litter just by the reviews alone and I've never been happier with my purchase. The litter clumps and absorbs odour beautifully. The kitties tend to track a little of it when they leave the box, but it's nothing that I wouldn't be hoovering up anyway on a different litter. My kitties seem to be happy with it too. Having tried both "Cats best" and "Worlds best" litters, I now stick to "Cats best" and won't change, unless they change it and make it unusable or they stop making it altogether.

Do not buy this litter, it tracks everywhere. I found it ALL OVER my flat, in every crevice. World's best is a similar price and FAR better IMO.

Clumps beautifully. Very easy to remove both pee & poo. Little tracking.

This is so much better than anything I've used before. It doesn't smell and you can even flush it way.

It's true, this is our first pack, but we're happy with it. Our kitty used to do his business on paper towels, but he quickly took to this litter. It's good for keeping the litter box tidy every day and it does a great job masking odours.

It's true that it's more expensive than other litters, but for me it's worth it. It's perfect. It doesn't smell bad. My cat loves it. The dust doesn't get up her nose, since it doesn't release any.

We've been using this cat litter for years, and it's the best we've tried. It doesn't make a mess like others, does a good job absorbing odours, and you can flush it down the toilet.

Over the years, I’ve searched for the best cat litter. Without chemical pellets or added scents, because cats are very sensitive to smells and things that aren’t natural. This litter absorbs pee well (and forms a big clump), so it’s really easy to clean. It’s also easy to tidy up around the litter box since it doesn’t have tiny pellets. The smell isn’t bothersome either. I can recommend it to everyone!

The litter is really good for my senior cats, for me it's the cheapest and lightweight. I don't recommend flushing it down the toilet because it takes a lot of water to do so. We need to save water.

I buy this litter because it clumps well and, most importantly, doesn’t raise any dust. Just a heads up: it expands when it gets wet or when the cat pees, so your kitty might get a fright at first, but they get used to it after a while. I love that Zooplus has the 17l pack, it saves me a good bit. Tip: get yourself a scoop for coarse grains so you don’t waste so much litter.

I've been using it ever since I got cats. Of course, I've tried other types of litter too. Nothing compares to Best Cat's.

No other litter is this good. It forms nice clumps and doesn’t smell.

Since I bought this plant-based litter, I've saved quite a bit of money on it. It lasts longer, is easier to manage, doesn't smell or stain... and you can dispose of clumping, 100% plant-based biodegradable litter either down the toilet or in the organic waste bin.

We've been using it for 5 years and we're very happy with it (we have 2 cats) – the quality, price, and durability are outstanding. It's true that it leaves some dust and the cats spread it around a bit, but honestly, anything else we've tried ended up being dragged all over the house anyway.

The convenience of being able to dispose of it down the toilet is priceless!

Cats Best is by far the best eco litter, even though some batches are definitely dustier than others. All my cats like it and it lasts a long time; as a clumping litter, it's really well suited.

For me, there’s no better cat litter! I’ve been using Cat’s Best for about 9½ years and I’m absolutely delighted with it. It hardly creates any dust, locks in smells brilliantly, and doesn’t damage the litter tray. With cheap litter, the tray’s bottom would go dull after just half a year. If you factor in how much longer Cat’s Best lasts, it’s not really much more expensive. And most importantly: you walk in the door and you don’t immediately smell the litter tray. 😄 Highly recommended! 🐱❤️

We once tried an alternative product, also from Cat's Best, in pellet form. But this Cat's Best Original is simply the best cat litter. It smells like fresh wood. It's super absorbent, the clumps are easy to remove from the rest of the litter and don't smell in the collection bin. Even with two cats, the litter box only needs a thorough clean every four weeks. Economical despite the price.

Soft and light, it makes a ball that's easy to throw in the toilet.
